The taxi stopped in front of me and just as I was going to hug him goodbye i couldn't, i'm not that type of girl. He has a girlfriend and even if she doesn't care about him its none of my business, no scratch that, It bothered me so much at the fact that he's taken.
"Well, I have to go" I said opening the taxi door.
"No wait-"
"Look I don't have all day here either you get in, or out" The driver yelled. I immediately got in and closed the door. Just as I closed the door it opened and he went inside with me. I was surprised, speechless, words didn't want to come out of my mouth. I smiled and blushed a light shade of pink, that's the only thing i managed to do as i felt his presence so close to me.
I gave the driver my address, and still kept smiling along the ride.
"Why are you here?" I asked. He looked at me as if he didn't know the answer to the question but that expression that played on his face didn't match. It was so unreadable, words can't describe it.
"I'd ask you the same thing, but why question you" He smartly answered. I laughed then looked out the window.
"You don't get it do you? You have a girlfriend" I exclaimed.
"You were dating one of my best bros but you don't see me arguing. Now that i know the truth i don't what you guys are, or what you two used to be" He said. I ignored his response and continued looking out the window, i felt a pair of warm hands touch mine, I looked over at him and saw him smiling.
"We never dated, isn't that specific enough" I teasingly removed my hands away from his and put it on my lap. I heard a phone ring, and I know it wasn't mine because i wasn't familiar with that ringtone.
I looked over at him and it was his phone.
"Hello"
"What Stacy?" A frown automatically appeared on my face as I hear her name. I slowly remembered he still with her.
"Yeah I know I left.... What do you mean you're with Colton?" I looked over at him and saw that he was furious. That got me to thinking, does he actually love her? He wouldn't react that way if he didn't cared. He probably does care, when she doesn't.
"I'll call you later" he hung up and deep inside me I knew he was staring at me.
"Look i'm-"
"What Sorry? For what she is your girlfriend" I laughed. The laugh was so fake not even I bought it.
"No, But-"
"But what?" I interrupted. He looked guilty, but really? He has no reason to feel guilty. I felt my phone vibrate across my back pocket, I quickly picked it up and saw that it was my dad.
"Hey Dad" I said. I heard a loud noise in the background, meaning he's probably at a bar or something.
"Sweetheart, I was just calling to see if you were home"
"no I'm in a cab on my way why?"
"Do you want me to bring food home? I'm at a Restaurant" He said.
"Yeah, I'm up for it" With that I hung up the phone and saw the cab arrive in front of the building. I took out my money and paid him.
"Bye Justin" I got out of the cab and felt a pair of hand snatching my wrist and turn me around.
"Justin what ar-" I was cutt off by a pair of soft warm lips being placed on my lips. My reaction was shock so I didn't respond but soon I found myself kissing him back.
Don't only thing I can think was about how I missed those lips
