'Good evening children.' Dumbledore spoke.
The entire great hall started to get silent. You looked at Draco at the Slytherin table. He winked at you.
'Now, we have two changes in staffing this year. We're pleased to welcome back professor Grubbly-Plank who'll be taking Care of Magical Creatures while professor Hagrid is on temporary leave.'
Why would Hagrid be gone? Did anything happen?
'We also wish to welcome our new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher professor Dolores Umbridge.'
You saw a woman with short brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a pink outfit. It was awful to look at. She let out a small giggle.
'And I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing the professor good luck. Now, as usual, our caretaker mister Filch, has asked me to remind you-'
He was cut off by Umbridge. Everyone looked at her. She placed her pink bag on the table and got up. She stepped forwards.
'She was at my hearing... she works for Fudge.' Harry whispered at you.
'Thank you Headmaster, for those kind words of welcome. And how lovely to see all your bright happy faves smiling up at me. I'm sure we're all going to be very good friends.
'That's likely.' Fred and George spoke in unison.
You let out a small chuckled and they looked at you. They smiled at you.
'The ministry of magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance. Although each Headmaster has brought some new to this historic school progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged.'
You sighed and leaned your head on your hand.
'I don't like her.' You whispered at Ron.
'Tell me about it.' He sighed.
'Let us preserve what must be preserved perfect what can be perfected and prune practices that ought to be prohibited.'
She let out another weird chuckle or giggle or what ever it was. She walked back to her spot. Dumbledore began to clap and slowly everyone joined in.
'Thank you, professor Umbridge. That really was most illuminating.
'Illuminating? What a load of waffle.' Ron sighed.
'What's it mean?' Harry asked.
You looked at Harry.
'It means the ministry's interfering at Hogwarts.' You whispered.
-
After the whole speech it was time to go to bed.
'I'm telling you guys, this isn't going to end well.' You sighed.
'Give her a chance Y/N.' Hermione spoke.
'Have you seen her? Have you heard her strange... laugh? Giggle? What is it?'
You walked into the Gryffindor common room. You saw Dean, Seamus, Neville, Lizzie... and many others. They looked at Harry. You felt bad for him. You placed your hand on his shoulder. You walked towards the stairs to the dorms.
'Dean, Seamus... had a good vacation?' He asked while he turned towards them.
'Alright... it was better then Seamus'.' Dean spoke.
Seamus got up. Lizzie stood up and hooked her arm with his.
'Me mum didn't want me to come back this year.'
'Why not?' Harry asked.
'Let me see... because of you.'
You looked at Lizzie. Almost begging her to let Seamus go and help you and Harry. Just like you once helped her. But she didn't.
'The daily prophet has been saying a of things about you and Dumbledore.'
'What? And your mother believes them?' Harry asked.
'Well... nobody was there the night Cedric died.'
'Well, I guess you should read the Prophet then, like your stupid mother.' You hissed. 'It'll tell you everything you need to know.'
Harry pushed you back a bit.
'Don't you dare talk about my mother like that!' Seamus spat at you.
'I'll have a go at everyone who calls him a liar.'
'What's going on?' Ron asked while Harry looked at you.
'Shut up Y/N... it's fine.'
'But you're not lying Harry.'
'They're mad, that's what's going on.' Seamus hissed. 'Do you believe the rubbish he's come out with about you-know-who.?'
Ron stood besides Harry.
'Yeah, I do.'
'And you should do too Lizzie. We're your friends.' You spoke.
She didn't say anything and just held Seamus tighter. You looked around the common room.
'Has anyone else got a problem with Harry?' You asked.
No-one said anything. You hurried after him and Ron did so too. Harry kicked against his suit case and started to put of his robe. You looked at Ron.
'I'll fix this. Just go.' You spoke.
He nodded. You walked into the room.
'Are you alright?' You asked.
'I'm fine.' He spoke.
'Seamus was bang out of order.' You sighed. 'But he'll come through, you'll see.'
'I said, I'm fine, Y/N!' Harry hissed while turning towards you.
You looked at him. He looked at you. He swallowed.
'I'm only trying to help you... but maybe I should leave you to your thoughts.'
You wanted to leave. Harry sat down. You turned around and slowly walked over to him. You sat down besides him and hugged him.
'Please Harry... I believe you. We're on the same team.'
'I know... I'm sorry.'
He sat up. You kissed his cheek before leaving. Ron stood there.
'And?' He asked.
'Better leave him alone.'
You walked down the stairs and wanted to leave the common room.
'You're not allowed to leave. It's bed time.' Seamus spoke.
You turned around and looked at him.
'Can't you just shut up Seamus?' You spoke.
You left the common room and hurried down the stairs. You tried not to be seen while you walked towards the lake. You saw Draco sitting at the lake. You smiled and walked towards him, quietly. You sat down behind him and hugged him from behind.
'Hi beauty.' He smiled.
You sat down besides him. He wrapped his arm around his waist. He pulled you against him and you he laid down in the grass. You laid down against him. He rubbed your back while you stared at the sky.
'I'm so happy that you're here.' He smiled before kissing the top of your head.
'It's great that we can meet at night.' You smiled.
'We have to meet some time. Better do it when no-one is here.' He smiled.
You grinned and sat up a bit. You kissed him and he kissed you back. He rolled you over until he was on top of you, leaning on his hands. He pulled back and smiled.
'Well well mister Malfoy.' You grinned. 'Didn't know you'd ever miss a girl. Especially not a mudblood.' You laughed.
'Can't help it.' He smiled.
He laid down besides you. You smiled and looked at him.
'I love you.' You smiled.
'I love you too.'
After a while you got tired. You had been laying there for over an hour. You yawned.
'You should go to bed dear.' He spoke.
You nodded and got up. Draco sat up as well. You kissed him and he kissed you back.
'See you tomorrow.' He smiled.
'See you tomorrow Dray.' You smiled.
You walked towards the common room and got in. You saw Hermione sitting there.
'Y/N!' Hermione spoke and she ran towards you. She hugged you. 'I've been so worried about you! Where have you been?'
'Don't worry, I've been at the lake.' You smiled.
'Why?' She asked.
'Needed some time for myself.' You spoke. 'But I'm fine, let's go to bed.'
'Alright.' Hermione smiled.
You walked up to the room.
