I woke up and didn't recognize my surroundings.
"Oh thank goodness your alive." Says aunt Jackie kissing me all over and pulling me into a hug.
"What am I doing here?"
"You don't remember anything do you?" Asks Jackie
"No not really. But I have a massive headache and my body aches. I feel like a truck ran me over."
"Aww poor baby. Don't worry that fool won't get away with this. I can promise you that. I'm such a terrible aunt. I was so busy with my man, I didn't notice what's been going on. Jojo told me and I couldn't believe that young man would put his hands on you. I'm sorry I wasn't there baby." Says Jackie
"It's okay it's not your fault. I learned my lesson. It's not okay for a guy to put his hands on me."
"So you're getting your memory back?" Asks Jackie
"I think so. It's starting to come back to me. I went to the movies with Jojo, Reggie and Alex. Then we went out to eat. I saw this cute boy. We started talking then Alex got pissed. When we went home we started fighting. After that everything went black."
"He can't hide forever. He does not have the right to put his hands on you." Says Jackie
"I hate him so much."
"I know baby I know. I think you should move in with me and my boyfriend for awhile. I need to take care of you. I'm sure Trey won't mind." Says Jackie
"You sure? I don't want to be in the way."
"You're family you always come first." Says Jackie
"I love you auntie."
"I love you too baby girl." Says Jackie kissing my forehead.
"Look whose finally awake." Says Jojo walking into the room.
"Hey girl."
"I'm so happy your okay. I really thought I lost my best friend. I don't know what I would do without you. I love you and don't ever scare me like that again. Promise me you won't keep doing this? You need to let that boy go. I don't know how many times I can say this. There might not be a next time." Says Jojo
"I know you don't have to tell me. I'm done with him. I mean it on everything we are over."
"I hope so because I hate seeing you like this. I miss the strong Ashanti who never let a man hurt her. I never should have introduced you to him. I had no idea he was like this." Says Jojo
"Well now you know. Looks can be deceiving. I gave him everything and what do I get in return. I end up in the hospital. I never seen him that angry before."
"It's time to move on for real this time. I know the perfect way to make you feel better." Says Jojo
"Oh no what you got up your sleeve this time?"
"Remember that boy we saw at Olive Garden?" Asks Jojo
"The one with the pretty eyes?"
"Yes Daniel that's the one." Says Jojo
"Wait you know him?"
"I got his number for you. I played it off like he was my cousin. So Reggie wouldn't get mad. That's what took me so long to leave." Says Jojo
"I don't know he's the reason I'm in this mess."
"No your the reason your in this mess. You had the chance to leave a long time ago. Alex hit you because he had anger issues. That much is obvious. If it wasn't over Daniel it would have been another guy. Alex was a ticking time bomb and you know it. I'm not saying you have to jump into another relationship. I'm just saying give him a chance. He might be a nice guy once you get to know him." Says Jojo
"I'll consider it. But no time soon. I need my rest. I have to get myself right first."
"I totally agree. No rush besides I already told him what happen." Says Jojo
"You did what?" 😳
"I felt bad and he was asking a about you." Says Jojo
"Now he's gonna think I have drama."
"I don't think he cares." Says Jojo
"As long as he doesn't have any crazy exes running around."
"No I don't so. You should ask him for yourself." Says Jojo
"Maybe I will. It's time to start doing what makes me happy."
"That's what I like to hear. At this point anyone is better than that bum. Speaking of Alex I hear he got his ex Jennifer pregnant." Says Jojo
"I can't believe this asshole. Now he really is dead to me."
"I'm gonna go now. I'll stop my later on to check on you." Says Jackie getting up from her seat.
"Okay bye love you."
"Bye love you too sweetie. Bye Jojo." Says Jackie
"Bye auntie." Says Jojo
I watch as Jackie leaves before turning back to Jojo.
"Wait are you sure? Who told you?"
"I found out from Ronnie. I was talking to him and it slipped out. You know he can't keep his mouth shut for anything." Says Jojo
"I wish I never met him. He better be lucky I'm in this hospital. Otherwise I would be cussing his ass out. This time I would be fight him back. He caught me off guard this time. Next time I'm gonna be ready. Enough is enough."
"All I want is revenge. After all this nigga put me through."
"I know the perfect person to help us." Says Jojo
"Oh yeah who?"
"Me." Says Daniel walking into the room. He looked better than ever. If I wasn't in so much pain I would jump on top of him.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to see if you were straight. I felt terrible after Jojo told me what happen." Says Daniel
"It's not your fault. I'm glad you came though seeing you made my day."
"Trying make a nigga feeling all special." Says Daniel putting his hand over his heart.
"Yeah something like that."
"Stop you two lovebirds back to business. You down to help us?" Asks Jojo
"Of course. I can't stand Alex bitch ass. He's been my enemy for a long time now. He's always running his mouth and bragging about shit. I heard he robbed one of my boys. It's time for pay back." Says Daniel rubbing his hands together.
"Are you gonna kill him?"
"I might just depends on how I want to kill him. I want to enjoy this. I love when people beg for mercy. I want this to be a slow and painful death. First ima beat his ass. Since we want to go around beating up on females. He want to fight someone so bad he can come at me. Best believe he won't win." Says Daniel
"As long as you don't get caught I'm down."
"What me? I'm homicide I never get caught. My hands are always clean. Unlike your boy I stay low key." Says Daniel
"Then it's settled I'll give you his wear abouts. Shoot I'll even tell you where his baby mama stay at."
"Sounds like a plan. I'll stop by her house and scare her. She'll probably go run her mouth and tell Alex. You sure you want to do this? Once I start there ain't no turning back." Says Daniel
"Yes I'm sure. I want him gone."
"Alright then I gotchu. All I gotta do is let my boys know what's up. By the end of week Alex will be dead." Says Daniel
"Fine by me."
"Wow I'm shocked. Girl you turning into a stone blood killer." Says Jojo
"I know right."
"I love it." Says Jojo
"Hey I just thought of something. You should wait a little while. I need to see him before he's dead. I want to beat him up myself. Can we wait until I'm better? I want to be there when you do this."
"If that's what you want then sure. It's up to you baby girl." Says Daniel
"Okay then we'll wait. Daniel I can't thank you enough."
"You can thank me by going out to dinner with me. That is when your better of course." Says Daniel
"I would love to."
Daniel walks over to me and takes my hand into his.
"I'm glad I met you." Says Daniel
"Same here."
"I can't wait until this nigga is gone for good. I want you all to myself." Says Daniel
"Trust me the feeling is mutal."
"I gotta go handle some business. But I'll be back tomorrow. Later ma." Says Daniel he kisses me on the cheek before leaving.
"Bye sexy."
He gives me a wink before leaving.
"Aww look at you two." Says Jojo
"I know. Where has he been hiding. If only I met him before Alex. So much time that I've wasted on this ass wipe."
"This was a good lesson. At least now you can really move on." Says Jojo
"A fresh start would be nice."
"Once we take this fool out, that's exactly what you'll have." Says Jojo with an evil look on her face.
