You froze to the spot and breathed heavily. You looked at him and a small smirk crossed his face.
'Look at that... and who do we have here?' He asked.
You swallowed and coughed.
'Y-Y/N Y-Y/L...' you stuttered and you stepped back a bit.
'Y/N Y/L? Didn't know you were still alive.' He spoke while grabbing your chin and moving your head a bit so he could look at it closely. 'Your father's eyes... mothers hair... mothers lips... been a while hasn't it?'
'M-My parents a-are muggles. You can't know them.' You spoke while getting your chin from his grib.
You took another step back and couldn't believe he just touched you.
'Muggles?! Dear n-'
You haired a sound coming from downstairs.
'Sit down and don't say a word!' He hissed.
You sat down besides Ron and looked at him. He held Scabbers tightly. The footsteps came closer and the door opened. You saw Harry and Hermione. You looked at them.
'Ron, Y/N! You're okay!' Hermione spoke while hurrying towards the two of you.
'The dog? Where is it?' Harry asked.
'Harry! It's a trap!' Ron spoke.
'He's the dog! He's an animagus!' You hissed while pointing at Sirius who was hiding behind the door.
Harry and Ron slowly turned around and Sirius looked at them. He shut the door and slowly stepped forwards. Hermione pulled Harry behind her and you got up and positioned yourself next the her.
'If you want to kill Harry, you have to kill us too!' Hermione hissed.
'No, only one will die tonight.' Sirius said.
'Then it'll be you!' Harry spoke while pushing Hermione aside and grabbing Sirius by the throat. He worked him to the ground and sat down on top of him while pointing his wand at him. Sirius laughed.
'Are you going to kill me Harry?' He asked while laughing.
Then the door opened and Lupin stormed in. You looked at him. What was he doing here?!
'Expelliarmus!' He hissed and Harry's wand fell to the floor.
Harry got up and hurried back towards you guys.
'Professor-'
'Shush.' Hermione said.
'Well, well Sirius. Looking rather ragged, aren't we?' Lupin spoke. 'Finally the flesh reflects the madness within.' He continued while still pointing his wand at Sirius.
'Well you would know all about the madness within, wouldn't you?' Sirius asked.
Sirius lowered his wand and smiled. He helped Sirius up.
'Professor-'
'Shush.' Hermione spoke again.
They hugged and you stared at the scene. You slowly stepped forwards.
'I found him!' Sirius spoke.
'I know.'
'It's him!'
'I understand.'
'Let kill him!' Sirius hissed.
'No! I trusted you!' You yelled at him.
Hermione walked towards you.
'Me too! And all this time you've been his friend!' She hissed.
'He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing classes.' You explained.
Lupin looked at you.
'How long have you known?' He asked.
'Y/N and I found it out since professor Snape set the essay.' Hermione spoke.
'Well, Hermione... You really are the brightest witch of if your age I've ever met.'
'Hello! You're forgetting me.' You sighed.
'Enough talk Remus! Come on let's kill him!' Sirius hissed.
Lupin looked back.
'Wait!'
'I did my waiting! Twelve years of it! In Azkaban!' He yelled.
A silence crossed the room and you looked at Harry and Hermione who were standing besides you. Lupin looked back at all of you. You sat down besides Ron and he held his rat tightly. You grabbed his wrist to calm him down.
'Very well... kill him.'
He gave his wand to Sirius. He grabbed it and held it tightly.
'But wait one more minute... Harry has the right to know why.'
'I know why!' He hissed. 'You betrayed my parents! You're the reason they're dead!' Harry spoke while taking a step forwards.
'No, that wasn't him. Somebody did betray your parents but it was somebody who, until quite recently, I believed to be dead!'
'Who was it then?!'
'Peter Pettigrew!' Sirius said. 'And he's in this room! Right now! Come out, come out Peter! Come out, come out and play!'
'Expelliarmus!' You suddenly heard.
Snape walked in. You looked up in a bit of shock and confusion.
'Vengeance is sweet.' Snape spoke. 'How I hoped to be the one to catch you.'
'Severus...'
Snape pointed his wand at Lupin who immediately stepped back.
'I told Dumbledore you were helping a old friend into the castle, and now... here is the proof.'
'Brilliant Snape.' Lupin said. 'You've put your keen and penetrating mind to the task and always come to the wrong conclusion.'
'Now, if you'll excuse us... Remus and I have some unfinished business to attend to.' Sirius hissed while stepping closer to Snape.
Snape pointed his wand to his throat.
'Give me a reason, I beg you.'
'Severus, don't be a fool.' Lupin sighed.
'He can't help it, it's habit.' Sirius spoke.
(Seriously, I absolutely love this scene with Sirius, he's so funny. Am I the only one who laughs at this?)
You tried to hold back and grin and Snape shot you a look.
'I said be quiet-'
'Be quiet yourself Remus!'
'Look at you two quarrelling like and old married couple.'
'Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set.' (I love Sirius xDD)
You covered your mouth and Hermione, Harry and Ron looked at you.
'What?' You asked softly.
'I could do it you know... but why deny the Dementors? They're so longing to see you. Do I detect a flicker of fear? Oh yes... a Dementors kiss, one can only imagine what that must be like to endure. It's said to be nearly unbearable to witness but I'll do my best.' Snape spoke while slowly stepped forwards and Sirius stepping back.
'Servers please..'
You saw Harry grab Hermione wand. Ron grabbed Hermione sleeve.
'After you.' Snape spoke.
Harry stepped forwards while pointing Hermione wand and then he attack Snape! He flew back and collapsed into the old bed.
'You know, this day started of terrible, but this is amazing.' You grinned.
'Harry?! What did you just do?!' Ron asked.
'You attacked a teacher!' Hermione spoke.
'Tell me about Peter Pettigrew.' Harry spoke.
'He was at school with us. We thought he was our friend.'
'No, Peter Pettigrew is dead. You kill him.'
'No he didn't!' Remus said. 'I thought so too, until you mentioned that you had seen Peter Pettigrew on the map!'
'The map was lying then!'
You sighed.
'The map never lies!' Sirius spoke. 'Pettigrew is alive! And he's right there!' Sirius spoke while pointing at Scabbers.
'Me?! He's mental!' Ron stressed out.
'Not you! Your rat!'
'Scabbers has been in my family for-'
'Twelve years? Curiously long life for a normal garden rat! He's missing a toe, isn't he?'Sirius spoke while slowly walking towards Ron.
'So what?' Ron asked.
'All they could find if Pettigrew was...' Harry spoke.
'A finger! The dirty coward cut it off so everyone would think he was dead! And then he transformed into a rat!'
Ron still didn't believe him and kept his rat close.
'Show me.' Harry spoke.
Sirius tried to get Scabbers.
'Give it so him Ron.'
'What are you trying to do to him?!' Ron asked.
He got Scabbers.
'Scabbers!'
You grabbed his arm and tried to calm him.
'Leave him alone! Get off him! What are you doing!' Ron almost cried.
Sirius places him on the table and casted a spell but Scabbers ran away.he ran across the floor and ran towards a hole but before he could go in a spell hit him and and a fat weird man transformed out of it. Lupin and Sirius pulled him out of the hole. He was disgusting.
'Remus? Sirius?' He asked. 'My old friends!'
Then he tried to run away but he was stopped. He looked at Harry.
'Harry look at you! You look so much like your father! Like James! We were the best of friends!'
'How dare you speak to Harry!' Sirius hissed.
Peter tried to run away.
'How dare you speak about his father in front of him!'
'You sold James and Lilly to Voldemort!' Remus hissed.
'I didn't mean to! The dark Lord... you have no idea what weapons he possess. Ask yourself Sirius! What would you have done?'
'I would have died rather then betray my friends!'
Peter ran to the door but Harry blocked it. Peter grabbed his shoulder.
'Harry! James wouldn't have wanted me killed! Your dad would have spared me! He would have shown me mercy!'
Sirius and Remus pulled him away.
'You should have realized that if Voldemort would have killed you, we would have! Together!'
'No!' Harry yelled.
'Harry... this man...'
'I know what he is. But we'll take him to the castle.'
Peter fell to his knees. Ron looked at the scene slightly in shock.
'Bless you boy! Bless you!'
'I said we'd take you to the castle. After that, the Dementors can have you.'
