"HURRY UP, WE'RE ALREADY 30 MINUTES LATE IN CLASS."
"WAIT UP EUN, OH MY GOD." Junghyun yells running as well.
"Mrs. Lee is gonna fucking kill us and it's all because of you!" Eun hissed.
"I'm sorry! Not my fault the convenience store was that far away!"
"Your picky ass wanted to eat chicken instead of the school's curry."
"The lunch lady makes horrible curry. Why wouldn't I?" Junghyun chuckled.
"just hurry up! Oh my God."
Junghyun groaned, running up to their homeroom. He's sure as hell he's gonna get detention.
Again.
Yes, 10 years have passed. And Junghyun is now on his senior year. He's quite popular for his looks and personality, heck, he's one of the dancers in his school. But he's tardy, crams at every subject; as well as failing them too, and usually gets detention for his behavior.
Jungkook sure is tired of hearing his teachers rant about how he's so tardy and how detention is almost like his second homeroom. Jimin even gets a hearing of that as well.
Junghyun does try hard, but to be real, his subject's lessons aren't even that important to him. It's not like he'll need it all when he's 40.
Eun knocks on the door and opens it, stepping inside. "Sorry we're late Mrs. Lee!" [edited bc i accidentally wrote kim. My baaaddd]
"We promise we'll come back on time next time!" Junghyun bows
The whole class snickered at the two as Mrs. Lee drops her chalk on the chalk ledge. "You broke your record and is now 30 minutes late for class, Mr. Jeon. I hope you have a valid reason for this."
"Uhm.." Junghyun scratched his head, thinking of an excuse to slip off of this whole situation.
"As for you Mr. Wang?"
Eun flinches hearing his surname. "Uhm."
After standing there in silence, no words to explain their tardiness. Mrs. Lee finally spoke. "Detention after school." She grabbed two detention slips, writing down on it shortly before she handed it to each of them. "Jeez, Jeon. What am I to do with you?" She remarked after handing his.
Junghyun nervously chuckled accepting his slip and sighing right after he sat in his seat.
"Mom's gonna murder me when she hears about me getting detention." Eun whined.
"Sorry." Junghyun pats his friend's back. But not like he's too sincere, detention almost feels normal to him anyway. But Eun doesn't though.
Goody-two-shoes friend, Eun usually stops him from doing stupid shit to get him in detention on a daily basis.
A little while in the lesson, the speakers roared a loud sound of a mic being too near to a speaker shortly before there could be small thumps heard from it.
"Mrs. Lee, please excuse yourself to come to the principal's office."
Mrs. Lee glances at her wristwatch and gasps, "Oh!"
The class started murmuring before Mrs. Lee would stop them. "Hush children." She says making the class quiet down. She then continued, "Continue copying your notes. And keep quiet. I don't want you all to be noisy when I come back. Understood?"
The class all responded with a yes before she could leave.
A couple of minutes later, Mrs. Lee came back inside, a huge grin plastered on her face. "Okay class!"
"So.. You all will be having a new classmate soon! She's a scholar from daegu." She claps, "She'll be attending her classes and joining us next week."
The whole class was now excited and started talking to one another about the new student, the classroom became noisy and full of excited squeals and noises and what not. "Hush!" Mrs. Lee says, quieting the class down.
"Now, I want you all to prepare the classroom for her. We gotta make a good first impression!" She chuckled. "Clean the classroom a little and be nice when she arrives."
They all nod and with no further discussions, they continued their class.
Junghyun furrows his eyebrows. "A new student in the middle of a semester?"
"Yeah, guess so." Eun shrugs, "I'm excited to meet her."
Junghyun huffs "meh."

"Ok class, your new classmate is here!"
Everyone gasps and started talking to their groups of friends. Junghyun was more bored rather than excited. It's just a new student anyway, what's so exciting about that? While Eun was as excited as everyone was. Junghyun could only roll his eyes.
Mrs. Lee called the student in and when she stepped inside the classroom, everyone fell silent.
Junghyun meanwhile just let his jaw drop seeing the new student.
"Please introduce yourself." Mrs. Lee chuckled.
The young student smiled shyly before speaking, well.. More like croaking. "M-My name is Min MiNa~ it's nice to meet you all and be your classmate." She bowed respectfully, she was holding her books while bowing and accidentally dropped them.
"Oh-" she gasped, her face flushed in red with embarrassment.
"Let me help you!" Eun offered running in front to help her.
"EUN--" Junghyun whisper-yelled, but the other boys started helping her as well.
"T-Thank you so much! You're all too kind." She smiled, the boys swoon and chuckled, saying 'you're welcome' all at once.
Who could blame them? She really was a beauty. Long black hair, a curve in her eyes making it stand out, pink small lips, pale white skin, she really was something a girl would be envy of for looks.
And her satoori accent was beyond adorable to everyone.
"How adorable." Mrs. Lee gushed, "Well, my name is Lee Chaeri, but you'll have to address me as Mrs. Lee. I will be your homeroom adviser from now until the school year ends." She smiled
MiNa bowed "Yes, Mrs. Lee~"
"Ah, so polite." She sighed smiling. "Now, for your seat."
"you're gonna sit beside..." She looks around the class looking for a good place for her to sit in. Everyone was raising their hands, hoping to have a seat next to her. But she noticed Junghyun wasn't even raising his.
So she picked him.
"Junghyun."
"Mwo?"
"Ms. Min, you'll sit beside Mr. Jeon Junghyun over there." She points at the seat beside Junghyun.
"But.. Eun already sits here!"
"I can easily change the seating arrangement, Mr. Jeon." Mrs. Lee chuckled, "This is for you too. Maybe Ms. Min here can help you in your studies."
"I would love to!" MiNa chirped. She then set her books down on Eun's former desk and reaches out her hand to Junghyun.
"Nice to meet you, seat mate!"
Junghyun looks up at her, clearly not impressed. But he shakes her hand anyway.
"Sure."
