Hey! :)

So this chapter jumps around a bit and is sort of random but the story is finishing in a few chapters so I'm trying to wrap it all up. Enjoy :)

-Sasha-

Over the years I’ve had many opinions on the word ‘change.’

I used to hate it last year. Whenever change came around it would always mean that somebody was leaving me again. I was scared of the word; I never liked the sound of it.

When I found out I was pregnant, I began to like change again. Change had become something different. Change meant Justin helping me with my trust issues and also falling for the one I hate most.

And as of yesterday I hated change once again. My life was perfect the last few days and then my mind began to wonder. So now here we are, back at the doctor’s that I have come to hate.

We were here too much.

The light blue washed walls had become too familiar. The potted plant always sat still, lifeless in the corner of the waiting room. The same two year old fashion magazines rested on the wooden coffee table and the same old secretary sat by the front desk, her glasses sliding down her nose.

“Miss Skies?”

I jumped to attention at the sound of my name being called by the doctor. He walked towards us in a bee line, trying to avoid bumping into anyone.

“No need to worry,” he smiled. “Your baby is perfectly fine. You’re not the first one to come in worrying about this, although I’m glad you did just to be sure.”

Justin’s hand found mine and gave it a comforting squeeze. “See? Nothing to worry about.”

“Thank you so much for you time.”

“Wasn’t a problem.” He held out his hand to shake mine.

I took his hand firmly and shook it.

“Will I be seeing you anytime soon?” He asked me, flipping back to the first page of his clipboard.

“I should hope not.” I laughed. “Bye doc.”

And I was hoping to keep that promise for a few months. I didn’t want to come back here at all.

-8 months later-

-Justin-

“Your hair is getting so long Sasha.” My arms pulled her into me, attacking her neck with kisses.

“S-S-Stop! J-Justin P-Please Stop!” She managed to say in between breaths.

I was now both tickling her side and tickling her neck with my kisses. She loved it but she couldn’t take it for more than a few seconds. I loved doing this though; her real smile would show even if she was in a bad mood.

I finally stopped and stepped away from her smirking and she crossed her arms, frowning at me.

“You are one evil boy Mr Bieber.”

“Am I? Am I Really?”

She nodded, poking out her tongue. She turned in one fluid movement, her long hair flicking back behind her. She stood there, waiting for an apology. She wasn’t really mad though, it had become a game.

“Are you mad at me Sasha...?” I spoke slowly, moving closer to her.

Her head bounced in a nod, not daring to look back at me.

“Do you want me to say sorry, Sasha...?”

Once again, she nodded.

I stood so close to her now I was breathing on her neck. I watched as she tried and failed to keep her breaths even.

“Never...” I whispered.

She spun around and slapped me on the arm, faking being shocked. We both had known the outcome of this though; we knew each other far too well. Her arms flew and locked around my neck, looking at me with a flirtatious smile now.

“What?” I chuckled.

“I love you.”

“And I love you more.”

“So not possible.”

-Sasha-

“Can you say Daddy?”

“Justin she’s 8 months old.”

“Can you say Daddy?”

I rolled my eyes and did my best to not get distracted while I prepare lunch with Pattie. I was trying to explain to Justin that the average age for a baby to say their first word is normally over the age of one. Justin argued that our baby is ‘cooler’ and ‘smarter’ than an average baby. This earned another roll of the eyes from Pattie and I.

“Why don’t you teach her how to walk?” Pattie suggested. “You know some babies start at 8 months...”

“Oh my god we have to get her to walk this month! We’re so behind!”

Justin had taken the father figure to the extreme. He believed everything was a competition, if someone’s baby could do something, ours had to too.

But I went along with it because it made me happy and knowing that the two main people I love are smiling, made me smile. I was truly the luckiest girl alive.

“Lunch is served.” I announced.

Justin finally listened and jumped up to take the white plate from my hand. He licked his lips and dug in straight away. He always loved his mothers cooking and mine so he loved it when we cooked together for him.

I took a sip of the fresh mango juice I had just made us all.

“So when are you too getting married?”

I spat out my drink.

“W-what mum?” Justin stuttered, his mouth still filled with a sandwich.

“I second that.”

“Well you have a child and you’re obviously going to be together forever...”

“Of course we are! But...well, uh...”

“Yeah uh...um...”

“Well...”

“Come on! Tell me you’ve thought about it!”

“Fantasised.” Justin corrected. “But we’re not ready for that yet.”

“Yeah, we uh, want to wait until we’re older.” I added.

“Just because we have a daughter doesn’t mean we need to rush into the rest of our lives.”

“Okay, okay. I didn’t know how awkward this subject was with you two.” Pattie apologised, wishing she never brought it up.

Even though we loved each other and we were going to be together forever we didn’t want to think about marriage yet. Yes, we had a baby that was turning one in a few months but that didn’t mean we were comfortable with being married.

I was still eighteen and Justin was only nineteen.

***

“So you really mean it?”

I was resting my head on Justin’s chest as he played with my hair. We were lying in bed, having our nightly conversations together. It was my favourite part of the day. It was an excuse to be so close and talk about topics without having to face each other. We just simply talked into the dark for hours without a care in the world.

“Mean what?”

“Being together forever...?”

“Of course...do you?”

I nodded into the dark. “Yeah.”

“I love you so much...”

“Me too Justin, me too.”

“Totally glad I banged you at that party.”

I threw my pillow at his face.

I agreed with him though. I was glad we had both gotten drunk and he got me pregnant at the party. It was the best thing that had ever happened to me.

But I didn’t want to admit to it out loud.
