Karkat
Your boyfriend looked very nervous when picking up you up from your house. He told you to dress nice and you did, surprising him in a lovely gold dress and matching heels, which you despised from the moment they were put on your feet. He took your hand and walked you to his banger of a car and drove you both to a harbour.
"So, uh, (Y/N)...I ah-"
"KAR LOOK ITS GAMZEE'S DAD!!"
"Jegus Christ, focus (Y/N)! I have to ask you something!"
You froze and turned around, seeing Karkat blushing red on one knee. His messy hair blew in the soft breeze and you caught a breath as he took your hand.
"(Y/N). You have been a massive pain in my ass since when we met in that movie store, since when you stole my ice-cream and called me the name Strider calls me. Our relationship has not been perfect, but nobodies really is, so now I want to ask if you'd be my always and say okay?"
Karkat held his head down waiting on your answer. It took a few long moments before you yelled
"FUCK YEAH ASSHOLE!"
Aradia
It was a cold December evening when your girlfriend took you on walk. Not just any walk either, no, one through a cold ass park and into an even colder graveyard. Your boots had mud on them, and your hoodie was doing a shitty job of keeping you warm. Aradia just took you along by a hand, grinning wildly, and looking extremely excited.
"Ara, what are we going for a walk in a graveyard of all places?!"
"You'll see soon enough, trust me!"
You sighed and continued walking, til suddenly Aradia stopped, and got on one knee. She pulled out a velvet box, and you finally realised why she took you on a walk. You stopped her before she even asked, crying with joy, wrapping your arms around her.
"OF COURSE!!!!!"
Tavros
It was warm for August when you and Tavros were enjoying a sunny picnic, the forest seemingly teeming with bees and flowers blooming, plenty of wild animals coming to say hello and then leaving sometime after. You lay on the blanket, cuddling. You were almost asleep on Tavros's chest, completely at peace with the world. Yet, Tavros was not, very nervous for something. He gently pushed you off of him and sat up, looking you in the eye.
"U-Uh, (Y/N), you h-humans have a ritual for when you w-want to spend forever together and I, uh, want to do that with you...if you'd like?"
You grinned, and nodded, not trusting yourself to speak.
Sollux
"Yeah but the part with Newt and the MACUSA was just...ugh!"
You were having a movie night with your boyfriend, trying to get him to enjoy the Wizarding World, and he seemed to slightly like it, or he was extremely nervous for something, but it was most likely the first one! You were an emotional wreck over the ending of the movie, but it was totally real to you
"Mmh, yeah...hey, (Y/N), fuck, um...just stop for a sex, I MEAN SEC!"
You smiled, and did as told.
"So um...I dont know, I guess I should get on one knee but I dont think I will, I saw a rat piss here a second ago, so here's your ring, gimme your finger, lets get hitched."
You stopped for a minute, looking down at the ring, before kissing him madly, putting the ring straight onto your finger.
Nepeta
"Purrhaps, we could go hunting?"
Nepeta was trying to bring you out somewhere for some reason unknown to you, and had yet to say a place you were interested in visiting. You knew that if you didn't pick soon though she'd go into the places you definitly would not want to go, so you agreed on hunting. You grabbed your gun, and followed your girlfriend outside.
You eventually had caught enough game to feed you both for the next week, plus a little extra. Nepeta was fairly quiet whilst hunting, not very focused either which was unlike her. She let a good bit of prey free, and was not that upset over it. Once you both were home, she sat twiddling her thumbs. You sat opposite her, and were busy watching TV. Nepeta slowly slid off her chair and onto one knee, taking your hand. She looked up at you, a box open with a beautiful ring inside. You grinned, crying slightly, taking the ring and putting onto your ring finger.
Kanaya
"Come now dear, we will be late if you don't hurry!"
Kanaya called up to you as you put the final clip into your hair, carefully applying your baby pink lipstick to complement your eggshell blue dress you had on that night. Kanaya had invited you to a night out in a fancy restaurant to celebrate your anniversary. It was a cute and romantic idea she had and so you went along with it.
"Coming love!" you called back, hurrying to stuff your phone into your purse.
At the restaurant Kanaya had booked a private terrace seat for you, fairylights hung from the small railings and ivy climbed down the walls. It was beautiful, candles lighting and swaying in the soft breeze. Kanaya smiled as you took it all in, and went down on one knee in her new pantsuit.
"(Y/N), you have welcomed me to your strange planet, introduced me to many of your customs, and I believe that marriage is on of the biggest rituals on this planet, so please m'dear, will you marry me?"
You could not stop smiling and kissing her as she slipped the ring onto your dainty finger...
Terezi
It was late afternoon and Terezi appeared at your doorstep with a boombox blaring one of your favourite 80's songs. She had a snapback and letterman-jacket on, Fresh Prince in hand and Heelys. She was a mix-mash of multiple decades, and yet it worked somehow. She had a fierce grin on her face, which meant she was up to something...but what you had a tiny idea.
" Hey babe! (Y/N) come out with me to the park for a minute!"
So...she was wanting to take a walk with you, so you agreed and threw on a jacket. She and you walked hand in hand, and Terezi began to tell you a story...
"(Y/N)...before I was with you I was an emotional wreck. You know about the game...what happened to me and my friends...that stuff just made me so messed up and stuff. We came to earth for a new start, and yet I didn't feel as though I fit in here, till we met in the library. I still have that dragon drawing you did on my wall...but well, here we are at the park and I suppose I should ask you one little question....marry me?"
You could not believe what she just asked, well, you kinda could, but still it took a few moments before you could react by kissing her deeply and with tounge ( ;) ), the ring gleaming on your finger.
Vriska
You and Vris were cuddling under the blankets in your room watching a shitty Christmas flick John had sent over to Vriska. It was so bad that halfway through it, you both had to make-out to stay awake...not that was not fun or anything....
You had fallen asleep however, and it was getting late so Vriska knew she had to go, but had yet to follow the trend and propose. She didn't want to wake you up, so instead she got artsy and drew cards that read
"(Y/N)" - This was stuck onto your TV,
"You have made me feel so amazing" - Stuck to your door,
"And I wanted to return the favour to you" -Stuck to your stair's banister,
"So, I know you'll wake up and see these" - Stuck to your downstair's lamp in the hall,
"So good morning sunshine" - Stuck to the kitchen door which was slightly open,
"Enjoy your breakfast ;;;;)" - This was stuck to your kitchen table, were some cereal laid, and a ring was also left...
The moment you woke up and saw all of the note and ring, you ran to Vriska and had sexy time to thank her...
Equius
Equius was fairly straight-forward with the whole thing...he just sat you down on his lap and held you close, giving you a kiss. This was unusual for him to do, so obviously he wanted you in a very good mood for the evening. You smiled and returned the kiss, brushing off his horns accidentally.
"N-Now (Y/N), I beg you to not touch my horns till after I ask you one simple question..."
"Sorry babe, sure go ahead"
He was sweating quite a bit, obviously more nervous than before. You smiled at him, already knowing he was going to pop the question. Equius was not the best at hiding things.
"Well...I, if you would like to aswell, prehaps do the human tradition, with the white dresses and chapel?" Equius asked, sweating....buckets. ( ;3 )
You nodded, smile as wide as a smile could go, happily waiting for Equius to put the ring onto your finger.
Gamzee
You were asleep, (favourite horror movie) playing on the tv. The couch was cold, it was a very cold February day. You had obviously forgotten that it was Valentines, your ruff and not-no-ready apperience was proof of that. Yet just because you forgot did not mean that Gamzee had, oh no.
Gamzee walked up to your place, he tried to tame the mess of hair on his head and even let the Jade human put flowers in it. Gamzee had just downed an extra pie, a sign of his nerves. He knocked on the door to no reply, so he walked in on a sleeping (Y/N). He grinned, and pulled out a tape recorder, the tape you would hear later.
"(Y/N), fuck man where to start. Lil Mama you changed my fucked up world. You accept my past and youre not scared by me. Mama youre different to everyone Ive ever met and I want to keep you close to me forever. So I stumbled on this crazy ass craze called "marriage", so lets fucking do it together!".
Gam slipped his ring onto your finger and within 3 hours an emotional (Y/N) flung herself into his arms and cried "YES YES YES FOREVER AND EVER BABE!!"
Eridan
So to say your engagement was simple was a lie. A big, fat lie.
The night began simple, a night out to a friends wedding. Sounds nice, a lovely time to spend with friends and family, right? Well, Eridan began by telling everyone at the dinner table about how in Troll Culture buckets work differently and how the blood type is something that is very important and how important Eridan is to trolls etc. You smiled awkwardly as this happend, but this wasnt the worse thing to happen, oh no!
After dinner came the speeches, and those are always boring and too long. You just wanted the band and music to start, but out of respect for (B/F/N) you just stayed quiet. Unlike the drunken Eri, who stood up in all his violet-blooded glory and made a speech of his own.
"Humans! Listen, ĺlllisten to your....your....SUPIROUR! I have a speech of my own for (Y/N). My darling, my love, my life, I have l-loved you ever since I chased you off my beach, which will soon become our beach, and Ampora mansion wont be mine but ours. (Y/N), the plans are set and so are dates, so lets marry each other!".
You were shocked and blushing beetroot red. This was not the place to ask someone to marry you, yet he did. Everyone was looking, the bride and groom glaring, and all you could do is stand up, take Eri with you and leave the room. Once out in the lobby you kissed him deeply and put the ring onto your finger.
Feferi
Fef had brought you a little lagoon, off the beaten path as people like to say. It had a cresent shaped pool, it wasnt deep and you both enjoyed yourselves splashing around in the shallows. There was a hole in the roof that was directly above the pool, allowing time for diving aswell.
You sat at the edge to watch Fef swim and to dry off a little. She was so beautiful in and out of water, her hair trailing behind her like a mermaids would. She was enchanting to watch.
You went to Fefs bag to find your phone, believing that it you had left it in her purse instead of your own. While you rummaged your fingers felt a soft fabric. You pulled out a velvet box containing the most beautiful ring you had seen. Fef had come behind you, and shyly smiled as you spun around.
"Well I was going to ask you after we ate dinner tonight;" Fef began," but I see you bet me to it. (Y/N) you are the most gentlefish gill ive ever met. You mean the sea to me and I want to spend seaternity with you! So...will you spend it with me?".
"Fef, oh babe! Oh oh oh!!! Of course!!"
