Ella's POV
The girls and I had been excited about this day for practically weeks. The new Harry Potter ride had opened at Universal Studios Hollywood and the girls and I may have secretly prepared something extremely amazing for the boys as a farewell excursion.
I woke up at 5:30 and started to gather myself together. I calculated the twenty six minute drive from our house, counting in an extra 9 minutes for traffic making an estimate of a thirty five minute drive. I was in charge of breakfast, Rey and Tia the outfits and Lucy the driving. The park opened at 8:30 so we would leave at 7:55. I figured I would wake up now to start the special breakfast buffet, wake Rey and Tia up when I was done around 6:30 and Lucy up just before the boys. It would work out just fine. Hopefully.
I prepared the waffles and put them off to the side covered in tinfoil. Next I cut some fresh fruit I gathered yesterday at the market and placed into assorted bowls. Everything besides the drinks were basically set.
I checked my watch and it was 6:15. What's the sake of 15 minutes.
"REY! LUCY! WAKE UP! ITS SUNDAY!" I mind yelled.
I heard them groan so I decided to go up and help them. We had nine stones, two cans of spray paint, the spell book and a lot of hot glue laid out on our prep table. We split it evenly, three rocks, three sticks and we would share the glue. We found a permanent transformation spell that we used on the rocks to turn them into different house robes. We sorted Me, Lucy and Luke into Ravenclaw, Rey and Max into Gryffindor, Jacob and Kyle in Hufflepuff and Tia and Chase into Slytherin. I used the spell fort on the three ravenclaw robes and I have to say they were identical I the ones in the movie. I took a chopstick and started to draw on it the same design as different characters' wands. Once we sprayed them with the spray paint and heated them a touch to dry faster, it all looked very genuine.
Of course we an hour to Finnish it but it was just enough time for Lucy to set up hedwig's theme to play as the boys walked out of their room.
On the count of three, we all screamed "BOYS!" causing there to be a lot of noise, rattling and even girly screams.
They walked out of their room still half asleep yet we laughed at them.
We handed them each a letter we printed online and wrote their names on it.
"WERE GOING TO UNIVERSAL!" Rey screamed jumping on Max's back.
"Miss Granger." He said politely.
"Mr. Weasly," she replied riffling his hair. He may not have looked like Ron but he certainly had the same personality.
We all discussed over breakfast what we would do. Most of our day would be spent in Harry Potter's world yet we found nothing wrong with that.
We left right on time and drove side by side the entire way down. And maybe having a sing along to the same radio station...
We got to the park at 8:15 thanks to Lucy speeding in an attempt to race Luke for the best parking spot but of course we won. We parked side by side and stepped out and formed a huddle.
"There is to be no pranking on this excursion agreed? If so, the pranker must do whatever the prankee asks of them. No matter what." Rey stated
We all agreed and put our hands in a circle.
"Guys why are we yelling?" I asked. I wasn't sure exhaust everyone did it differently.
"1 2 3 Universal?" Luke suggested.
We nodded putting our hand in a circle.
We screamed it at the top of our lungs and then raced to the gates. We printed our tickets where the boys were 'too lazy' and wanted to get them at the parks. Pf course that meant we got in before them.
We were already in our robes looking like total fangirls but we did not care. While waiting, we grabbed nine churros, two extra large lemonades and even lanyards.
They finally got through and we handed them their five churros and one of the two lemonades. We raced to the Wizarding World and when we got there, we were in pure heaven.
The wait time for 'The Forbidden Journey' was already 150 minutes and we grunted.
"Thank you boys. Now the line will only get worse." Rey said with a clear tone of sarcasm and anger.
They smiled at us a we walked up to the start of the line. We admired the architectural structure of the entire land and how everything seemed like it came out of J.K. Rowlings imagination.
Walking through the castle was simply spectacular. The portraits talked to you, the sorting hat was giving safety instructions, and there was even the secret entrance to Dumbledoor's office. Sadly it was only a part of the display.
Getting on the rode was even better. The mermaids rode in one broomstick(they fit 4 each) but the boys were split. Jacob and Max rode with two other complete strangers as the other three had a nervous teenager with them.
The ride took us through the eight stories by practically creating a ninth. We were amazed by the work well done. Although we were even more amazed by what happened when Kyle, Luke and Chase came off. They were raging mad because the teenager had cried the entire way and didn't even care about the dragons, spiders and dementors attacking their broom stick. Not to mention the whomping willow scene.
We all laughed at them but they had a few very colourful things to say. The staff pointed them out for it which made it twenty times better.
We decided to grab a quick lunch as it was almost 12. We cozied down at the three broomsticks and enjoyed the best park food ever and a glass of butterbeer. We took a refill of the butterbeer to go and we went to line up for dragon challenge. While walking into the line, they told us we couldn't bring our butterbeer in with us and the cups would have to be stored in a locker. We hated having to leave them but we obeyed. On the way to the locker, Kyle of course decided to spill his butterbeer all over me and Rey. We didn't scream but we knew that time would soon run out. We looked high and low for a bathroom when we finally spotted one. We ran to the family section as fast as we could and locked the door just as we transformed.
"That son of a..." Rey started
"Rey!" I warned
"Bum."
"Thank you"
"Oh my god I can't believe he did that"
"How rude" I agreed
"Yeah like that was a $7 drink. you can't be that careless with it."
"We can't just stay here and dry off. We need a revenge plan"
"Okay so what do you propose and can humans revive mindmessages?" She asked
"Yeah but it sounds like they are thinking the thoughts. I looked at it the other day"
"Okay good so if we message him all these confusing things, he will not know what's going on and we can't be caught for the no pranking rule if no one knows it was us. Right?"
"I'm not one for breaking that many rules but than again, we broke a lot from te time we started to now so yeah!"
"Perfect!" We said high fiving. Meanwhile we were trying to retrieve our legs but the butterbeer made it quite sticky.
After spending many attempts, we finally got it dried off of ourselves. We bought new clothes, to match our robes no less, and put them on and the others in a bag we sent to the front for pickup.
"Whoa! When'd you change?" Kyle asked us.
"Right after you dropped your butterbeer all over us." I sassed
There was a murmur of ohs and laughter but we stared each other as if we would die if eye contact was lost.
"Guys!" Tia jumped in between us. I shook my head trying to regain my focus. "Can we just have a good day. Tomorrows our last day of pranks and then this will all be done. Poof!"
We all agreed to just pot it behind us and enjoy ourselves. We rode Dragon Challenge and went for the forbidden journey one more time. We each bought more butterbeer to take home with us and a lot of sweets. (20 chocolate frogs maybe... let's no mention that.)
Before we left we asked one of the crew members to take a boomerang for us. I would so be posting this on instagram as a thank you admiration kinda post. We did the hunger games salute kinda thing where we put three fingers to our lips then up into the air. It was perfect.
A/N: I'm currently sitting in my bed with one of my 20 chocolate frogs I bought at universal... No joke. So the plan is to do one more day of pranks and a short one of them saying goodbye and an epilogue which will be called After the Storm. Similar to the first.
