"When are the two of you going to talk again?"
Cooper was walking beside Jett, the pair having just got out of potions. Jett clutched onto his books as he started making longer and quicker strides wanting to leave his younger brother behind but Cooper wasn't having any of it as he kept up.
"Honestly it's been ages. The two of you can't just ignore each other for this long!"
"I'm going to keep on ignoring her until I know she drops the plan." Jett grunted out as he ran a hand through his hair. He was looking more sickly then usual, the bags under his eyes seeming to have increased drastically and his skin looking to be paler then usual, of course this look was starting to be the norm for him. Especially as the full moon was fast approaching.
"Well you know her and you know she won't drop it." Cooper reminded. "She's doing it because she cares."
"She cares too much if you ask me." Was the Australian's reply. "She's going to get hurt, or killed."
"Or expelled." Cooper murmured as he tried to remember if the girl had yet to register at the Ministry of Magic for what she was doing. "But Jett, c'mon you can't give her the silent treatment forever! It's ridiculous. And weird." He added as an after thought.
"I don't care Cooper. I'm not going to stop until she realizes how dumb it is and drops it."
"You know that won't happen."
"Well then, guess I won't ever talk to her."
"Jett for god's sake."
"Goodbye Cooper." Jett called as he picked up his pace, leaving his brother behind.
"You're acting like an absolute child you know that right?!"

At the Ravenclaw table Dreamz tapped on the wooden table looking more then annoyed as she eyed the food that was laid out. Shelby just glanced over at her, noticing the expression on her face.
"Okay, what happened this time?" The older girl asked, wondering if the girl had managed to get into yet another fight. It would appear that the Australian had been acting more aggressively this past month, the reason on why that was so remained to be a mystery.
"Arthur keeps on breathing down my neck." She grumbled out, still tapping away. "He won't bloody leave me alone."
"How come?"
"He thinks I'm up too something."
"Well are you?"
Dreamz sighed, stopping with her tapping, "yeah... But it's not life threatening. It's perfectly harmless."
"What even is it? If you don't mind me asking."
The Australian just shook her head dismissing it, "nothing all that special and before you ask no it's not a prank. "
"For some reason I don't believe that." Shelby commented as she helped herself to more food.
"Why does everyone have trust issues when it comes to me?! Why?!"
"Because it's you." The American countered. Her eyes then lingered on a plate of cheese and at that she grinned as she picked up one. "Sorry if that doesn't make you feel gouda." She said before breaking off into laughter.
Dreamz just stared at her before face palming, evidently not finding the joke to be that good.
"Am I too cheesy for you Dreamz?"
"You... You have problems." The girl sighed. She dropped her hand onto the table, now looking around the area in hopes of finding some form of escape. She learnt from experience that as soon as Shelby started with these sorts of jokes she will not stop until she got a headache.
And then she saw him enter the Great Hall, it instantly making her eyes brighten in relief. She stood up and raced off, before Shelby could continue on.
"Cooper!" She sang as she grabbed his arm and immediately dragged him out. The poor boy groaned, evidently exhausted and just wanting to eat.
"What is it Dreamz?" He asked tiredly, believing that this exchange would be even more energy draining then usual.
"Well first off thank you for being my savior and second I need to show you something."
"Can I eat first?"
"No, this is important Cooper."
"Important as in I've completed it."
He raised his eyebrow, taken aback, "you... you actually did it?"
"Well I haven't tested it out yet but I've completed the whole process. By the way, I'm telling you now holding a mandrake leaf in your mouth for a month is not pleasant."
Still taken aback that the girl went through the whole procedure without appearing to utter a single complaint to him, he asked, "you... You have registered, right?"
"Um... Kind of."
"Dreamz!"
"Don't worry I'll finish it off! Just come with me, I've been waiting too long for this." And with that said she gripped his wrist and dragged him off, keen to find somewhere private to show off the new skill she had gained after months of hard work. She looked around while dodging the crowd of people whom were heading to the Great Hall, she grinned when spotting an empty classroom- immediately shoving Cooper into it before closing and locking the door behind them.
"Alright." Dreamz grinned rubbing her hands together, cracking her fingers. "I'm ready for this."
"Dreamz... Just don't... This might not go according to your plan." Cooper said gently. "Nothing might actually happen."
"Yeah, yeah I know, I know." The girl said waving off his concerns. "But something might happen. And if nothing happens then at least I still have, what? About a week? Yeah a week to come up with a different plan. You ready?"
"I don't think I have a choice but to be..."
The girl then shut her eyes, evidently concentrating to perform the action.
Time ticked on and Cooper was becoming more and more doubtful of this actually working. He opened his mouth about to suggest just that but then things began to happen. The girl started shrinking in size, her features contorting and changing to ones that were more resembling to the one's of an animal until finally she looked just like one.
What kind?
Well it wasn't what Cooper was expecting. He indeed thought she would have ended up into a bunny of sorts but instead she ended up being a fox. Her tail incredibly fluffy, eyes lit with glee, fur red as if to mimic the colour her hair used to be. And on her right hind leg was a noticeable scar- it obviously being her marking that will later be used to identify her.
"I wasn't expecting this." He admitted, watching as she explored around the area in her new body. She paused in her exploration to look at him, appearing to be offended. He just put his hands up in slight defense. "So uh can I have my dinner now?"
The fox just stared at him which made Cooper feel uncomfortable, not exactly knowing what was going on in her head. And then all of the sudden she jumped at him, making him stumble back in surprise. When the girl transformed back into her normal state it was shown that she laughing, liking his reaction.
But it ceased when she caught something in the corner of the eye, she turned her head slightly to the side so that she had better view of the door.
"What's wrong?" Cooper asked.
"Someone's spying on us." She said quietly. "Or trying too at least." She paused as she turned back to face the kiwi and then a smirk came onto her face. She walked over to him and began loosening his tie and messing up his hair which made Cooper incredibly confused. He tried to push her off.
"Dreamz what are you doing?!" He demanded, not liking it.
"I'm making it seem that we made out."
"Dreamz!" He exclaimed his face immediately becoming flush as he tried to tided up what she messed up.
"What? The person will be lingering around when we come out." Dreamz said shrugging, hitting his hands away. "We can't just walk out casually, we'll look suspicious. Plus I don't even know what they saw, so you know."
"I am not comfortable with this."
"Would you be more comfortable if we actually made out?"
"OF COURSE NOT!"
"You speak a language of lies."
"Dreamz, stop. Stop getting closer to me. Dreamz. DREAMZ. I GIVE NO CONSENT TO THIS."
"YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME."
"STOP THIS."
