Ashanti's Pov
I was in my comfy bed sleeping, when my phone started ringing. I didn't want to get out of bed but it could be Alex. I miss my baby so I quickly get out of bed and grab my bed. To my dismay it's only my girl Jojo. I love her to death but I was really hoping to hear from the Bae. 😩
"Hey I know you were probably asleep, but I really need someone to talk to." Says Jojo she sounds like she's been crying. I look at my clock and see that it's only 6:00 in the morning. Something must be wrong.
"It's okay I'm up now. What happen boo?"
"It's Ronnie he didn't come home last night. Lately we get into arguments over the dumbest of things. Sometimes I really regret me and him ever getting together. I should have just ignored my feelings and stayed friends." Says Jojo
"I kept telling you that, but you said you knew what you were doing. Are you okay?"
"Not really I can't sleep." 😔 says Jojo
"I can see that. Do you want to come over my house? You can sleep with me until you fall asleep."
"Really even with you being sick? You would do that for me?" Asks Jojo
"Of course your my girl I always gotchu."
"Okay but I'm not changing out of my pjs. I'm on my way now." Says Jojo
"You have an extra key. Just use it and let yourself in when you get here."
"Okay I'll see you in a few." Says Jojo
I hang up my phone and climb back into bed. I scroll through my phone and see if I have any missed calls from Alex. I see one text message from yesterday. Saying he would stop by today and that he loved me. I wonder if he's being faithful. I trust him I just don't trust these girls. Everywhere we go girls always throwing themselves at him. They act like I'm not even their asking for his number. For some reason I start to worry about him. I know he would never cheat on me, but you can never be sure. Guys today be busy running game. I wish I could be a fly on the wall and see what he's up to. 🌚
I grab my phone and lay back down. I feel a headache coming on.
A few minutes later I see my door open, and Jojo walks in. My girl looks awful her eyes are all red and puffy. I can tell she's been crying all night. Wait until I see Ronnie his ass is mine.
"Hey," says Jojo. Taking off her jacket and climbing into bed with me.
"Boo you look a mess. Spill."
"Okay well I called Ronnie all night. I kept calling him and his phone went straight to voicemail. At first he answered and was like I'm busy ill holla at you later. I kept waiting and waiting for him to call me back. He never did so I called him again. His voice went to voicemail. After that I started getting heated because people have been saying he's seeing some other girl. I think her name is Gia. Now I look stupid cuz here I am feeling him and he don't even feel the same way." Says Jojo
"Ronnie has been a player since day 1 know this. I never in a million years thought he would do this to you. Lets not jump to conclusions it could be a rumor. You said you guys have been arguing right? Maybe he just needed some space."
"I hope so I miss my baby." 😭 says Jojo starting to cry.
"Don't cry be strong. I pull her into my arms and just hug her. Everything is going to be fine I promise."
"How do you know?" Asks Jojo
"Trust me I just have a feeling. You know what will make you feel better shopping. You up to going to the mall later on today?"
"Girl are you crazy I never say no to shopping. I'm in need of some new clothes. I'm going to buy bad ass outfit and make Ronnie see what he's missing. Two can play this game." 💁 says Jojo
"That's my girl I was wondering when the real Jojo would come back. You never cry over guys. If anything you're the one always putting me back together."
"I know look at me I'm a mess. Enough of this crying and being sad. Yeah we can go shopping to today. Watch me blow through his money. He left his black card at my house. Wait until Ronnie sees how much money I went through, he'll go crazy." Says Jojo
"I can't wait to see the look on that nigga face."
"Me either. Anyway moving onto you. Have you heard from Alex lately?" asks Jojo
"He texted me before he went to the club. I haven't heard from him since."
"Figures some girl is probably all up in his face distracting him." Says Jojo
"Not my Alex he's different from the rest. He's probably just a good time with Ronnie. We spend all our time together now he can hang with his boys."
Who am I fooling? I'm trying to convince myself more than Jojo.

Alex's Pov
"Do you love her?" Asks Jennifer
"I don't know yet. We just started going out."
"Do you think she'll find out?" Asks Jennifer
"I hope not she's already been through so much. I don't want to hurt her."
"What about me you put me through a lot too. Why are you so quick to move on?" Asks Jennifer
"We don't work good together you know that. Promise me what happened with us tonight will stay between you and I?"
"Why you don't want your little girlfriend finding out?" Says Jennifer
"Well of course not. We just slept together." 😒
"I'm just playing Alex I'm not going to tell her. Just relax there's no need to get all upset." Says Jennifer laying her head against my chest.
"I should really get going. I promised Ashanti I would stop by today."
"You just gonna leave me like that?" Asks Jennifer with an a annoyed look on her face.
"I'm sorry Bae I have to."
"I knew this was a mistake just go." Says Jennifer pointing to the door.
"I'll call you later," I say getting out of bed.
"Yeah whatever nigga." Says Jennifer
I grab my clothes and quickly get dressed. I grab my keys and head out the door.
Once I get in my car I look to see if I have any missed messages from Ashanti. There's at least 10 missed calls. I decide to make a run to my house real quick. I can't go see her smelling like Jennifer's perfume. She'll definitely know that I was with another girl. I'm better than that she ain't gonna catch me slipping. I'm to slick for that shit." 👌
10 minute I park my car inside my garage. I turn off the car and make my way inside my condo.
I take a good 20 minute shower trying to get my thoughts together. I can't believe I really cheated on her. It's not fair to her.
I finally get out the shower and wrap a towel around my lower waist. I walk out the bathroom and into my closet. I grab a pair of cargo shorts and a black shirt and throw it on. I grab a pair of my new air Jordan 5s and quickly put them on. I see my favorite black SnapBack and put it on. To complete my outfit I put on some diamond earrings and my gold chain.
After getting dress I grab an apple and head out the door. On my way to Ashanti's house, I stop by the flower shop to pick a bouquet of red roses. While I'm there I see a teddy bear. I make sure to buy both and a box of chocolates. I pay for everything and leave the store. On the way out some girls licks her lips at me looking me up and down. If it was any other day I would of stopped and got her number. Today wasn't the day so I just kept it moving. I was tempted to call Ashanti and let her know I'm on my way. I ignored the thought and decide to surprise her instead. I feel bad for not checking up on her.
20 minutes I pull into her driveway. I notice Jojo's car is parked in the driveway. This isn't going to end well.
I turn off the car and climb out. I make my way towards her house and let myself in. If you're wondering how I just walked into her house, she gave ya boy a key. Just incase of emergencies. I walk up the staircase and hair talking.
I walk into her bedroom and see Jojo and Ashanti talking on her bed.
"Bae what are you doing here?" 😳 asks Ashanti like she's shocked to see me.
"I wanted to surprise and be the first person you see in the morning."
"Hey Alex," says Jojo.
"Sup," I say looking at her.
I turn my attention back to Ashanti. I walk over to her and hand her my gifts.
"Aww you did all of this for me. You can be so thoughtful." Says Ashanti taking everything out of my hands. She places everything on the bed. Then she runs into my arms.
"I missed you." Says Ashanti
"I missed you too. I'm sorry I didn't call you."
"It's okay your here now and that's all that matters. Bae you smell so good." Says Ashanti tightening her grip on my waist.
"I just took a shower this morning."
"You mad I didn't go out with you last night?" Asks Ashanti looking into my eyes.
"Nah I'm not mad. You weren't feeling well and needed your rest. Besides I got to chill with my boy so it's all good."
"Speaking of Ronnie where is he?" Asks Jojo
"He's probably at home sleeping. He had a lot to drink last night. Ya boy was a little to turnt up." I say lying out of my ass. I know exactly where he's at. Ronnie's probably still at Gia's house. But I wasn't about to rat my boy out like that.
"Oh.." Says Jojo
I feel bad she's all hung up on him. He's the complete opposite and couldn't care less.
"What you doing here this early?"
"She was here since 5 this morning. Talking about she couldn't sleep. My girl was worried sick about Ronnie. He's doing her dirty and it's wrong." Says Ashanti
For a moment I don't say anything. He's not all at fault I was out being careless too.
"I'm sure he'll call you once he's over his hang over."
Which reminds me I really need to call him later on today. He need to know what's up. He's not as slick as me with this player thing. I swear one day he'll get caught.
"Bae why you all quiet? What you thinking about?" Asks Ashanti breaking me out of my thoughts.
"I was just wondering what your doing today?"
"Me and Jojo were planing on going shopping." a says Ashanti
"Oh I'll let you girls have your day then."
"No you can come with us. Then you can carry our bags for us. We plan on doing a lot of shopping. That is if you're not busy?" Asks Ashanti looking up at me with a puppy dog face.
"How can I say no that face. You lucky you so cute. I'm at you and Jojo's service."
"Good today I get you all to myself. Do I have the best boyfriend or what?" Says Ashanti looking at Jojo
"You are lucky Alex is a sweetheart. If only Ronnie could be more like you Alex." Says Ashanti looking at me.
If only she knew I'm no better than Ronnie.
"Did y'all at yet?"
"No we were just up here taking." Says Jojo
"Let's go get something to eat my treat. Time to take your mind of Ronnie."
"I never pass up free food. Let me just get dressed. Wait I have to go home and change first." Says Jojo
"Go home you already have clothes here. As many times as you've spent the night. Like half your stuff is here. You might as well be my sister. You always here with me." Says Ashanti
"True. Well let's get dressed then." Says Jojo
"Bae wait downstairs while we change. We won't take long I promise." Says Ashanti
"Alright I'll be waiting downstairs."
I put my hands on the side of her face and give her a kiss. She was about to pull away but I grabbed her for another kiss.
"Get a room." Says Jojo
"Aww you salty from all this PDA?" Asks Ashanti
"You know you wrong for that." Says Jojo
She walks into the bathroom slamming the door behind her.
"I was just playing," says Ashanti.
"She'll get over it."
I give Ashanti one more kiss and walk out her bedroom.
This should take awhile girls always take forever to get ready. 😩😒👏
While I'm waiting I decide to call Ronnie. I want to give him a heads up on Jojo.
I pull out my phone and dial his number.
"Was good Alex?" Says Ronnie answering the phone.
"Where you at? Don't tell me your with Gia. You got Jojo over here crying and being all sad over you. She's going to found out what you're doing. She already grilled me with all these questions asking where you at. I lied for you to save your ass."
"Well thanks for covering for me. I am with Gia but Jojo don't need to know that. I'm tired of her thinking she own me. Where is she at now?" Asks Ronnie
"I'm at Ashanti's waiting for Jojo and Ashanti to get dressed. They said something about going shopping. Me being the good boyfriend that I am I offered to hold their bags while they shop."
"How nice of you. I guess I can meet y'all at the mall. Just don't tell them I'm on my way. I want to surprise Jojo. I'm about to leave now." Says Ronnie
"Okay cool just meet us there then. You got a lot of explaining to do."
"Relax I got this." Says Ronnie hanging up the phone.
He better because if this blows over and we both get caught ima be pissed. 😑
