Percy and the rest of the team woke up to sounds of fighting. Percy walked in wearing a large purple flannel that she had stole from Clint and claimed was hers over a black tank top along with some running shorts. Clint had given the shirt up, knowing that she liked having something from her father/brother figure. Percy often stole a few of Nat's sweaters while she kept Clint's flannel.
But sometimes Percy had him put it on, sassily telling him that "his outfit didn't look right." But Clint didn't mind nor did Nat when Percy stole clothing from both of them; it showed that she loved her friends. Percy also stole their clothing to reassure herself that they were there and that they wouldn't leave her.
When Percy entered the room, she saw Tony and Steve fighting with each other. The Avengers that were already up were watching tiredly.
Percy shuffled in, her wet hair pulled into a braid hanging down her back. She walked right in between the two arguing men.
"Do you really want to fight Rogers? Are you serious?"
"Yes I am Stark you just can't keep thinking that you can go do things and fix them later, so yes I want to figh-"
"No." Percy said firmly, yawning as she poured coffee for herself.
Everyone turned towards her.
"What?" Questioned the astounded fighting Avengers.
"I said no. You will not fight. Both of you go sit in a separate corners and consider both sides of the argument. Then apologize when you mean it."
The two looked astounded and stunned. Tony was the first to shoot back a response. "And why should we?"
"Because I said so Stark. And I am done with both of your fights. I said no so you will both go into your corners, face the wall, and think about what you have done before I bodily drag you both to a corner." Percy fired back sassily, sipping her coffee from the couch.
Clint, Natasha, and Bucky finally entered, being the last ones up. Clint and Nat looked at the woman curled up on the couch, looking for an explanation on why two grown men were in corners and facing the wall.
"They were about to declare war and I said no. So now they are being punished."
Clint cracked up while Natasha walked over and stole the rest of Percy's coffee. Percy stuck out her tongue in response but let Nat take away the coffee.
Stark and Rodgers, looking thoroughly scolded, apologized to one another before glancing at Percy. She nodded, allowing them to now get breakfast.
Suddenly the elevator doors opened and a little black lab puppy tumbled out, not used to her big paws paired with her tinier body. The team remembered the dog from last night when it curled around Percy's head. But they didn't know what its name was.
The puppy bounded over to Percy, jumping onto her lap before curling up. "Hey Mrs. O'Leary. How are you sweetheart? Are you up to going out and delivering a few things?"
The dog yipped and wagged its tail. Clint then walked over and scooped the little puppy up and started to pet it, going around to each Avenger, allowing them to pet her.
Percy got up and stole the muffin that Natasha was about to eat. Everyone watched for Natasha's reaction because NO ONE stole Natasha's food. Natasha just shrugged and got another muffin.
There was a soft mutter of "revenge" before the black haired woman bit into the muffin.
Percy laughed as she ate, quickly heading over to the elevator. A few minutes later she appeared with a huge stack of paper, two blue pens, many different colors of worn ribbon, and a lap desk.
Putting her feet under her, she started writing. Clint and Nat sat on either side of her, Bucky sitting in front of her on the floor, leaning against her knees. Clint and Bucky were playing some video games, Bucky slowly getting the hang of it.
Percy's hand started to write Egyptian hieroglyphs to the the gods that supported her- letting them know that they had to tell the demigods that supported her what she said, and to the Brooklyn House where the Kanes were. Seeing as she had been captured for a while, her friends would probably were freaking out.
When Annabeth betrayed Percy, Hera took Annabeths memory of the Kanes and the Egyptians. The Kanes and their gods were notified. Luckily nobody but the gods and Annabeth and Percy knew of the Egyptian pantheon.
The gods that had supported her had long ago learned to write in Egyptian hieroglyphs so the could communicate with the Egyptian gods better. Sure, all of them knew english now, but it was always nice to show their respect to the other gods.
Luckily for her, Percy's dyslexia didn't work on certain languages. Such as Greek, Latin, Egyptian for some reason, and French thanks to her grandmother. Percy wrote and wrote, detailing that she had been captured for six months.
Periodically, after writing a letter, she would tie a worn and obviously well loved blue ribbon around the piece of paper that was rolled up into a scroll. Percy then would give the tail ends of the ribbon to Mrs. O'Leary to hold in her mouth before telling her to go to her room. Mrs. O'Leary came back about twenty minutes later each time, every time coming back with a scroll of paper that was tied with that same blue ribbon. When opened, Percy would smile as she read the words on the page.
About two hours later, Mrs. O'Leary trotted over to Percy with another scroll of paper and a simple circlet. Percy laughed and murmured about her 'warm and loving Aunt H'. She put the silver circlet on, the red jewel catching the light, making it glow like dying embers. When the piece of jewelry was put on, Percy relaxed slightly, causing Bucky to lean back more onto her knees, surprisingly more comfortable.
After a while, Percy got up and announced that they were all to go running for Pietro's hobby. Said kid cheered, ran over to Percy, and picked her up and ran her to one of the fitness floors. The only thing they heard was a surprised meep from Percy.
Oddly enough, Bucky quickly stood up and went to the elevator, causing everyone else to follow. Bucky didn't know why he really wanted to go for the run. He just kind of wanted to just be out there with Percy.
Percy had been really nice. She didn't flinch when her feet got stepped on numerous times while they were dancing or when his metal hand crushed hers. Percy laughed quietly around him when he messed up before silently correcting him so his mistake didn't draw attention to the others, the soft sound of laughter encouraging him to do better. At one point she gently stepped onto his toes, she was still dangerously light after her captivity Bucky noticed with a frown, letting him go through the steps without having to worry about stepping on her toes. With her balanced on his feet, he could also have the feeling of guiding a partner through the moves.
Percy also quickly went along with his muscle memory dancing, allowing him to picture that he was in his own time again. Percy and Bucky never felt the need to talk, somehow Percy was okay with his past and was not in some way wary of him. She also smelled nice Bucky noticed, a bit embarrassed. She smelled faintly of the sea, a smell he associated with freedom with its vast expanse.

Once everyone was ready and on the correct floor for a run, Percy began talking. "We are all gonna run. But Pietro you are going to have to wear this power inhibitor bracelet."
At the speedster's questioning glance, Percy continued. "You need to learn how to run and fight without your powers. We are also going to inhibit Wanda's powers when we begin training. But if, in a fight, your powers are inhibited, you need to learn how to run without your powers. These are specially designed by me to mot be invasive. No shocks, no pain. I know how harsh the collars are and how controlling they are, they make you feel like an animal. This bracelet simply makes sure you can't reach for your powers."
Pietro nodded nervously and held out his left wrist. Pietro nodded and everyone got onto a main starting point. They were all going to run around the track that Tony had made inside his tower.
Natasha then spoke. "Clint, Steve, Bucky, and Thor are going to run with me. Rhodey and Sam will be paired together. Percy is gonna lead the third and final group which will consist of Tony, Bruce, Pietro, Vision, and Wanda."
The first two groups mentioned started off running while Percy's group stayed at the start. Percy started by showing them how to properly put your feet down and how to increase speed. Then she had then do a slow jog, getting them used to their pace, slowly getting them to raise their stamina. Sure, Percy couldn't get their staminas to raise immediately, but it was a start.
After about an hour, Percy let Pietro take off the power restricting bracelet. The group then worked on trust exercises.
JARVIS started a simulation on the next floor up which was the training simulation room that created a dangerous obstacle course. Hurtles made of metal popped up along with randomly appearing holes. At one point the teammates had to climb a rock wall that moved and shook.
The trust exercise was that the while team was doing the course, Pietro would come running through the course, pick them up, and put them in a new place. It was quite funny to see a person in one place then suddenly appear in another.
Everyone took a break for lunch, cooling down, before they went back to running. Tony, along with the rest of the team saw Percy and Sam whispering to each other heatedly. Sam suddenly laughed and Percy nodded.
As everyone shot off, it was quiet for a few minutes before they saw Percy place her hands on Steve's shoulder, pushing into a handstand before pushing off and landing in front of Steve. As she did her front handspring off Steve, she shouted, "On your above!"
Sam nearly tripped he was laughing so hard. Everyone still heard the mumbled "so thats what it feels like" from Steve.
The team had laughed as a whole when they heard how Sam and Steve met and how Steve always said on your left when passing the therapist.
Steve started running faster, trying to pass Percy. Said woman jumped on Bucky's back and yelled "onwards my trusty steed!"
In response, Bucky suddenly stopped, allowing Steve to run ahead. He also held onto Percy's thighs, not allowing her start running after Steve. Once Steve was halfway around the track, Bucky pulled Percy off him and putting her on the floor before sitting on her stomach. Percy groaned and sighed as everyone passed her, laughing. Bucky put his foot out, tripping Stark as he passed.
Percy laughed before Bucky suddenly Percy was the one sitting on Bucky. Bucky growled before he just stood up, picked up Percy and threw her over his shoulder. The metal armed man walked over to the elevator, Percy in arm. Everyone followed, waiting to see what would happen. The elevators door opened and everyone piled in. Percy calmly started to talk with Clint and Natasha in a different language.
As the door opened, they found Mrs. O'Leary waiting, tail wagging. As Bucky threw Percy into the pool, the dog barked and jumped in after, the dog repeatedly pressing its wet snout to her owners cheek. Percy smiled mischievously. Suddenly chaos erupted.
Mrs. O' Leary got out of the pool, shaking herself off in front of Vision, Wanda, and Pietro. She then pushed over Clint, Sam, and Rhody. Bucky, Bruce, Steve, and Tony somehow found themselves in the pool. Everyone looked at the puppy that had made her way back into her owners arms.
The puppy let out a yip, causing everyone to laugh. They got taken down by a puppy. A puppy.
"Don't worry. She has fought in quite a few major fights and numerous small ones. She just wants to have fun." Percy said calmly, treading water. "Now I have to give her a bath to get the chlorine out of her fur."
Percy climbed out of the pool, dog in arms, her clothes soaking wet and sticking to her like a second skin. Vision passed her a towel to use to dry off. She quickly patted herself down so she wouldn't drip all over the tower before using the same towel to dry Mrs. O'Leary off as best she could.
"I'm gonna wash Mrs. O'Leary then take a shower. I recommend that you all take a shower too."
