I woke up to the annoying ringing sound of my alarm, and it seems the noise also woke Drew up, because I heard him groan,
Almost immediately dad knocked on the door
"Amy honey, are you up?, can I come in" dad said through the door
"Yeah, sur-" Drew jumped on the bed and covered my mouth with his hands before I could finish my sentence
"Shut up!" he whispered
"What" I whispered as I removed his hands from my mouth
"Is everything ok in there honey?" dad said behind the door
"Are you crazy!, do you want to get me killed!!, I'm not ready to die yet!" Drew whisper-yelled.
"Honey are you there?" dad asked.
"Yeah dad, give me a minute" I shouted.
"What do you mean?" I whispered to Drew
"What do you mean what do I mean!, do you think your dad would be happy to see a guy in his daughters room so early in the morning?" he was whispering really fast.
"But we didn't do anything, we can explain the situation, besides we are friends and- " I whispered
"What the?, do I look I want to be just fri- you know what, forget about it, we'll talk in school alright" he pecked my cheek and ran towards the window.
I was a little surprised that he pecked my cheek, he had never done that before
he turned to face me and smiled then he climbed out the window
"Come in dad" I shouted
The door opened slowly "hey honey.. morning"
"Morning dad"
He sat beside me on the bed "so, I was wondering if you'd like to tell me what happened yesterday"
I sighed "yesterday in front of Sonny and Ravan I lost my temper and did something bad to someone, now I don't know if they'll still want to be friends with me" I murmured
He looked concerned "what do you mean by something bad"
I sighed again, then I told him what had been happening in school, how Jane and her friends had been treating me, how I told Drew I didn't want to be friends, basically everything till now
well except for the fact that Drew came over yesterday and slept here, at first dad was angry with me for what I did to Jane and the other dude but then he also told me never to let myself be bullied, he told me Drew was a good friend and so was Sonny and Raven, that the fact they called and texted me meant they were worried,
then he gave me a speech on controlling my anger, how it could lead to me or someone getting hurt bla bla bla...
Since I woke up on time today, I ate breakfast with dad, we talked a little about Amanda and how things were going great with her, I'd called her a few times and we spoke about alot of things, she's really fun,
During breakfast I heard a knock on the door
Dad looked at his watch "who could that beso early in the morning" he wondered out
He was right, and we weren't expecting anyone
"Let me go check it out" I said while standing up from the dining chair
Dad gave me a tumbs up as he filled his mouth with cereals
I walked up to the door "who is it" I asked
"Its me, Mrs Montana" she said in her soft voice, almost like a whisper, which was evidence of her old age
"Who is it?" Dad asked walking toward me
"It's Mrs Montana" I replied,
she is one of our neighbours, a very sweet and kind woman, she's in her late seventies but doesn't look a day over sixty five, she comes over with cookies ones in a while and sometimes I babysit her grandkids when they visit
I opened the door to see a smiling old lady, with wrinkles on he face which were mostly caused by her constant smiling,
"Good morning Mrs Montana" I greeted with a smile
"Good morning sweetie, how are you?" She asked in her soft voice
"Judy, are you finally here to take my offer, on finding you a man?" dad joked
Causing her to chuckle softly and shake her head "Ryan, please, I'm too old for that"
They hugged each other and said their greetings
"Come on in" dad said
"No, don't worry about that, I have something cooking in the kitchen, so I can't stay for long"
"Oh, what is the matter then?" dad asked
She sighed "this may sound weird, but earlier this morning, I think I saw someone climb down you house" she said
Oh shit!,
"What! Really?" Dad asked, lookin very surprised,
"Yes, I'm not sure, but I think you should look around and see if anything is missing, maybe it was a thief, maybe it was a cat, you know how my eyes are, but just be careful ok, tr-"
I sighed inwardly, I knew this was going to happen, I warned him, but noooo,
"-so much, I'll look around" was what I heard dad saying before he closed the door,
"That's stange, did you hear anything?" Dad asked me
"No I didn't, it was probably a cat" I said avoiding eye contact
"Let me look around, just incase" he said before walking away,
Some minutes later
"Amy, do you was a ride to school" dad asked
"Sure dad, that would be great, I'm tired of taking the bus"
I'll be turning 18 soon and I have my drivers license but I don't have a car, not like I really want one tho
I asked Dad to drop me of at the gate and he did.
When I walked into school, I felt a little scared, what if they didn't like me anymore?
I'm sure you've noticed, my brain is full of what ifs
When I got to my locker, as expected no one was there, I sighed and pick out my note for my first class
"Amy!!" Someone shouted
I turned around to see both Sonny and Ravan running towards me, they hugged me
"We were soo worried" Sonny said smiling at me, probably happy to see me
"Don't do that again" Ravan said punching my shoulder lightly
"Y-you guys aren't mad at me?, you dont hate me?"
"Are you stupid, why would we hate you" they said in unison, I missed their unison, it felt like I hadn't heard it in forever
I smiled and hugged them both "I'm sorry, I love you guy so much"
They hugged me back "we love you to" they said
"Ok, enough with the unison!" I said, and we all laughed,
as we were laughing Drew came
"Hey" he said smiling at me
I was smiling too "hey"
Sonny and Ravan looked at each other and cleared their throat
"Amies, we'll see you in class" they were giggling,
whats wrong with them
"Sure ok" I looked at them suspiciously as they giggled and walked away
"So, erm.. sorry about this morning" Drew said rubbing the back of his neck "you know, erm... the pecking, I wasn't thinking"
He looked worried, he's probably worried I'll think too much into it
don't worry Drew, I know it was nothing, relax, I'm cool like that
"oh, that, it's no big deal, besides we are friends now, I peck Sonny and Ravan all the time, its nothing"
He cleared his throat "yeah... nothing"
I smiled "lets get to class"

Lunch break
The guys sat with Sonny, Raven, and I, it was now a nomal thing, There was no sign of Jane, she didn't come to school today and neither did her minions
"So girls, are we still up for tomorrow" Ben asked
"Sure thing" Ravan answered
"It's going to be so much fun" Sonny squealed
"Amies you're coming right" Drew looked at me
For some reason Ravan and Sonny shared a look and smiled
"Yes I am, so what are we going to do"
"Watch movies" Ben said
"Play games" sonny added
"Basically anything fun" Ravan finished
I laughed "so what time are we meeting"
"10:00-10:30" Drew answered
"Sounds like a plan" Ben said and we all smiled.

Classes ended well, when I got home I saw dads car parked in the garage,
that's weird, what's he doing home so early
"Dad" I called out as I entered the house
"Oh, hi honey, how was school" something smelt nice is he cooking
"Fine, why are you home so early"
"Today I just decided to come home early"
"Ooookk, and you're cooking"
He smiled "Amanda is coming over for dinner"
I smiled "she is? thats great"
"Yeah"
"Should I set the table"
"Yes, that'll be great"
....................................
The food looked delich, it was time for me to freshen up, Amanda would soon be here
Forty minutes later the door bell rang, the minute dad opened the door I ran and hugged her,
what? we're close
"hello to you too" she smiled and hugged me back
"I think she's happier to see you than I am" dad said smiling
I released her from the hug smiling "sorry, I'm just happy to see you"
She kissed my forehead "I'm happy to see you too darling. Now can I come in"she always treated me like a child just like mom, even when we talk on the phone she talked to me like I was a child, and for some weird reason I always acted like one when she was around
"sorry, come in" I pulled her in
Dad pecked her on the cheek and she, him
"Something smells nice" she said
"I know right" I added
"Alright le'ts eat before it gets cold" dad said
Dinner was awesome, we talked, joked, laughed and nit long after she left
"Dad"
"Yes honey"
"I really like her"
"I know, me too" he smiled
I smiled "goodnight dad"
"Night honey"
