Julie's P.O.V

"I hope you guys all love the performance tonight. We've worked hard these past few days, I really hope you like it." Liz said, blowing a kiss towards the camera. I laughed and ended the video before posting it on the Jay Cee El Instagram.

"The fans are going to like that." I said before scrunching up my nose. "Can we call them that? Fans?" I asked my blonde haired friend.

She shrugged. "Natalie and I were talking and I told her that I see them more like friends and not as fans, so..." She trailed off.

"Good point." I said.

"Julie, can you please come and sit down. We need to do your makeup." Ben said. I sighed and slide my phone into the black pocket of my jeans. I was already dressed up for tonight's show. I was dressed in a pair of red jeans and a pink and black top. If I do say so myself, my outfit for tonight's show was on point.

Though we have to change again, being that we were singing two songs tonight. I was more excited for the second song. We've sung slower songs for what seems like forever, when in reality it was only three shows. Tonight's first song is another slow song, cue the eye rolls, but our second song was one of my favorites of Def Leppard's. Plus my outfit for later is much better than this one.

I sat down in the chair and leaned back, letting Ben get to work. He started curling my hair, just curling the tips. Gale was in the corner of the room, starting Liz on her vocal exercises that have become a tradition in the Jay Cee El dressing room- just like the disgusting drinks that he makes us drink in order to 'help our vocal range and perform better'. I don't need no stinkin' drink to help me sing better, I sing good enough already.

"Hey girls," Caitlin asked in the silence, "I need your advice."

"Okay... tell us." I said, closing my eyes when Ben started to do my eye makeup.

"Alright, well, on mine and Marty's date last night, remember how we met Michelle? Well, he seemed really bothered by it. He acted like... he acted like it was weird and that she wasn't important. It was weird but I can't help but think he might feel that way about me. I'm supposed to tell him if I want to be his girlfriend or not after the show tonight and well, I'm not sure. What do you think?" Caitlin said.

"Uh..." Liz began, "Well, he's probably not used to it. Marty probably thinks that that was weird and it had ruined your date. I don't think that it's a reason to not date him, because he isn't familiar with being a celebrity- I mean, neither are we but we are still open minded to it. Maybe he's just a little slow with it. I think that you should just take it slow with him and see what happens." Liz rambled.

"Yeah, Liz is right. He's adjusting. It's weird and confusing. I think it's kinda strange that people will ask for a picture even though we are hardly famous. But just be careful and take it slow, like Liz said." I told her.

"Right, yeah. I really like him and I think I want to give him a chance." Caitlin said. I didn't know where she was because I couldn't see, but I knew that she was smiling.

I heard Liz speak before I had the chance to. "Then you should, you never know what's going to happen. It could be great, Cait, you just gotta go for it."

The dark stage was our cue to walk out onto the stage. Nerves for this performance began to sweep through my stomach as the seconds ticked by. This song had the most vocal ranges for the girls and I, Leona Lewis was an absolute Goddess in the music world, we also had an interesting dance routine. The theme to it was that we wanted to be with a man, but we were being held back. The girls and I all have a partner in the song, and we've been rehearsing this for the past few days. It was easy enough, but I was still nervous.

I stood in my designated spot before I heard Khloe announcing our name. The crowd was going insane and I smiled; loving how much they seemed to love us. As the first note of the song hung out, the crowd screamed louder. My smile widened as I adjusted the headset a little bit. As I was doing that, Caitlin started to sing the very first line of the song.

"Oh, oh, oh." She sang. That was my cue to start singing.

"Closed off from love I didn't need the pain. Once or twice was enough, and it was all in vain. Time starts to pass, before you know it you're frozen. Ooh." I sang as my dance partner, Kenny, placed his hand on my waist. I glanced over at Liz, watching as her dance partner, Chris, wrapped both of his hands around her waist and spun her around to face him- though they were sideways to the crowd.

"But something happened for the very first time with you, my hearts into the ground, found something true." He dipped her and trailed a finger along her neck to her cheek, cupping it as he brought her back up. "And everyone's looking round, thinking I'm going crazy." She sang. Her voice was flawless, unaffected by the dancing and the movement.

Liz, Chris, Kenny, and I then crossed the stage to Caitlin and Freddie- her dance partner. Kenny and Chris held Freddie back and Liz and I held Caitlin back as they acted like they were trying to get together. "But I don't care what they say, I'm in love with you. They try to pull me away, but they don't know the truth. My heart's crippled by the vein that I keep on closing. You cut me open and I..." Caitlin sang as the three of us moved to sit on the floor.

"Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love. I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love. Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love." We sang.

"You cut me open, ooh." Liz sang.

Our dance partners moved to us, taking our hands as we turned around and they gracefully pulled us to our feet, our chests pressed together. I was beginning to sweat with the singing and the dancing, but there was nothing I'd rather do.

"Trying not to hear," Caitlin sang as Freddie turned her around, running his hand up and down the sides of her body. "But they talk so loud, their piercing sounds fill my ears, try to fill me with doubt. Yet I know that the goal is to keep me from falling." She sang.

Liz and Chris extended their arms, and she twirled into his chest as she began to sing. "But nothing's greater than the rush that comes with your embrace. And in this world of loneliness I see your face," She ran her hand along the curve of his jaw and he closed his eyes, leaning into her hand. "Yet everyone around me thinks that I'm going crazy, maybe, maybe."

The girls were then at my side, holding me back as I was trying to get to Kenny, who was being held back by Chris and Freddie. "But I don't care what they say, I'm in love with you. They try to pull me away, but they don't know the truth. My heart's crippled by the vein that I keep on closing. You cut me open and I..." We fall to the floor again.

"Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love. I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love. Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love." We sang together. Our dance partners helped us up again, chest pressed against each other. The already dimmed lights and a spot light shined on Caitlin and Freddie as they held onto each other for what seemed like dear life.

"You cut me open and it's draining all of me. Oh they find it hard to believe, I'll be wearing these scars for everyone to see." Her voice was high, higher than I've ever heard. It was beautiful.

The lights lit up the stage as Caitlin and I rushed to hold Liz back from Chris, Kenny and Freddie doing the same thing. But as directed, we couldn't do it and they met in the middle of the stage. Liz's leg wrapped around his hip and he placed his hand on the bottom of her thigh, holding it up, that side of them facing the crowd. The audience screamed loudly as the music slowed down and the four of us watched the two.

"I don't care what they say," Their foreheads pressed against each others. I felt bad for Chris, she was singing in his ear. But her voice sounded breathlessly sexy, something I wished for. "I'm in love with you. They try to pull me away, but they don't know the truth. My heart's crippled by the vein that I keep on closing. Oh, you cut me open and I." She sang, holding out the longest note of the song.

Caitlin and I crossed the stage to our partners, continuing the dance routine as we sang the chorus again. "Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love. I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love. Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love."

"Ooh you cut me open and I." Liz sang again, holding the note out again as Chris dipped her again, slowly and dramatically.

"Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love. I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love. Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love. Ooh you cut me open and I..." Caitlin and I sang, Liz doing the echoes like planned.

"Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love." Liz sang as her and Chris' forehead came together, the song ending.

As soon as the song ended the crowd went insane with applause. The lights brightened and I let out a breath of air, Kenny releasing me from his arms. I couldn't help the smile from my face when I saw the four judges on their feet. I laughed breathlessly, licking away the sweat that was above my upper lip. I turned to Kenny and smiled at him before he walked off stage.

I then walked towards the middle of the stage where the girls were. I grabbed Liz's hand, laughing when I felt the sweatiness of it. Liz grabbed onto Caitlin's hand as I leaned down a little, looking at her. The girls and I looked back and forth at each other before laughing while the crowd was still going insane. My cheeks grew numb from the smiling, but I loved the pain. This was the dream and right now, I knew I could make it.

Niall's P.O.V

"Okay," L.A. said as the crowd finally settled down. "That was the best performance I have ever seen. Out of every artist I've signed, every contest I've been a part of, that was the best one I've ever seen. The emotion, the vocals, the dancing, everything added up and it was just perfect. I've never seen anyone cause this amount of pandemonium in an American singing competition. No one on American Idol can even try to top what you girls just did."

I felt pride with every word he said, although my mood was still sour.

Brittany was the next to comment. "I loved it. I can honestly say that this was the best performance of the show. I am so excited to see what you girls sing later tonight and the rest of the competition. You girls keep topping yourselves every week. I don't understand how you're not in first place right now."

"Wow..." Demi said, the crowd screaming a little bit. "Just wow. I... I am so speechless. God, why can't you girls be in my category? Simon get's all the good ones, I swear. But God, that was so, so good. I got chills, chills! And I feel bad for any guy that has ever crushed on the three of you because after tonight's performance I'm sure that they are rolling in their jealousy." You can say that again.

"You know, we've rehearsed and rehearsed that song. During rehearsals you three just couldn't get it right. I don't know whether or not it was because of the boys you were dancing with, Liz- she's a bundle of nerves when it comes to boys, but that was just.... bloody amazing. I can't comprehend how proud I am of you girls. You're going to so far, so far in this industry. This is only just the beginning." Simon said.

I watched as the girls all giggled and thanked the judges before walking off stage. I huffed, crossing my arms and leaning back. I did not like that performance. In my opinion, it was the worst one that they've done. I mean really? Whose idea was it to bring guys out onto the stage? Guys that are dancers, probably have abs upon abs, and get to touch them all over. If anything that's just a bad message to young girls everywhere.

"You alright?" Liam asked me, looking towards me. I glanced over at him before glaring back at the telly, Evan Peterson was performing. He was a nice guy, I liked his voice.

" 'm fine." I said.

"You don't seem fine." Zayn pointed out.

" 'm fine." I repeated.

"I think someone's jealous." Harry said to Louis.

" 'm not jealous. 'm fine." I said.

"He's not. Why are you so jealous Niall?" Louis said. I rolled my eyes. "C'mon mate, there's got to be a reason. Was it because Liz was dancing with some other guy?"

"She can dance with whoever she wants to. Besides, he's just a dancer. He's probably a brainless idiot that doesn't know his left hand from his right. She knows she can do better." I said, watching as Evan received his compliments from the judges.

"It's definitely the dancer. He's the opposite of Niall, he's probably feeling insecure." Louis said to Harry.

"It's not the dancer." I denied.

"Then what is it?" Zayn asked, trying not to smile.

"I just don't appreciate him dancing all over me girl. If he wants to dance than he can, just not with her. And I don't like the way that she wrapped her leg around him, or that she touched his face, or that she was pressed against his chest. If he wants to dance that's fucking fine with me, just not with me fucking girl." I finally snapped.

"... you know technically, she's not your girl." Liam said as he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Not yet she isn't, but she will be." I said as I shrugged his hand off as I focused on the telly.

Louis sighed, "At least his confidence has returned."

<><>

"Please welcome back to the stage, Jay Cee El." Khloe announced as her voice was drowned out by the screams. The telly screen then went black as it showed the stage and you could barely make out three figures. The first note of the song played and I easily recognized it as Photograph by Def Leppard.

The lights flashed on and the girls were seen. Julie was standing center stage, a microphone stand in front of her. Caitlin was on the left side of the stage, sitting on an amp with a microphone in her hand. Then there was Liz, who was standing on an amp with a red electric guitar in her hands. She looked incredibly sexy all dressed up in leather, the tight leather shorts she was wearing was enough to make my own pants tight.

Liz played the same note again, the crowd going insane. Just the crowd was cheering before she played the note for a third time and the song officially started. I couldn't help but bob my head to the beat, this was a really good song.

"I'm outa luck, outa love, gotta photograph, picture of, passion killer, you're too much. You're the only one, I wanna touch." Liz sang first. The girl band that sang that slow love song was gone and was replaced with a complete rock 'n' roll looking band.

"I see your face every time I dream, on every page, every magazine. So wild, so free, so far from me. You're all I want, my fantasy." Caitlin said, standing up. Her dress was so short, it ended just below the curve of her bum.

The camera cut to Julie, who was leaning into the microphone and was obviously giving this performance everything she had. "Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown. Oh, look what you've done." She sang.

The camera zoomed out as Julie sang the 'photograph's and the two girls did the backups. Liz walked down the makeshift stairs, still playing the guitar. I knew that she could play but I didn't know that she could that well. Her and Caitlin met in the middle, still singing the backups. Liz and Caitlin both turned around, pressing their backs together as they almost grinded on each other. It was a weird dance move that I'm sure best friends do together all the time.

"I'd be your love, if you were there." Caitlin sang, "Put your hurt on me, if you dare. Such a woman, you got style, you make every man, feel like a child, oh." She threw her head back as she stepped away from Liz and my favorite blonde took center stage.

"You got some kinda hold on me, you're all wrapped up in mystery. So wild so free, so far from me, you're all I want, my fantasy." She sang, still playing the guitar. She was insanely talented and I found myself smiling widely.

"Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown, oh, look what you've done." Julie sang, jumped up and down.

The girls went back into the chorus, going through it the same way as before. Julie sang the 'photograph's and Caitlin and Liz sang the backups. I wish that Liz could sing even more of the song, but I understood that they were a band and all took turns.

I was taken surprise when Liz began to sing what I found, the hardest part of the song. "You've gone straight to my head." She sang, holding the note out almost as long as the one she sang in the last performance. What I found amazing was how easily she played the guitar while doing that, and then transitioned into the guitar solo that came next. I smiled widely when I saw Julie and Caitlin smiling proudly at the blonde. I was so happy for Liz that she's found such amazing friends.

The girls finished their song, Caitlin holding out the rest of the longer notes. I found myself smiling as they all gathered around the standing judges.

L.A had to wait a good minute before the crowd calmed down enough for him to speak. "I am so blown away. Every week you girls keep surprising us."

"Thanks." Julie laughed into the microphone.

"Liz, when you played that guitar it seemed like you were actually Phil Collen." Brittany said. I almost nodded in agreement. Getting compared to Phil Collen was a great compliment and Liz was so lucky to have earned it- she deserved it. She was amazing.

"Oh really? Thanks that means so much to me. He is like a legend." Liz said.

"Okay, its official. I am so jealous that Simon got you three. I wish that I could've gotten you three. That performance was amazing." Demi said, the girls laughing.

"I couldn't get any more prouder then you three girls. You did spectacular." Simon said.

The girls walked off the stage quickly and I leaned against the couch, sighing loudly. "I swear, she's amazing. Did you see that belly button ring she had? Oh my God, she is going to be the death of me."
