Harry kisses me and then hold me tightly,"I'll miss you babe. Just 5 days and I'll be back!"
I smile at him,"Hopefully they'll be over before we know it!"
Harry smiles at me and kisses the top of my head,"They will be babe. Don't worry!"
"Why can't I drop you off at the airport?" I whine.
"Babe, we've went over this. We can't let people knowing we're together yet."
"I guess you're right" I say with a smile.
"I should get going, I'll call you as soon as I land!" Harry says and hugs me for the last time.
"I love you Mrs Styles!" Harry says with a smile.
"And I love you Mr Gomez" Harry laughs at my comment and picks up his bags and heads to the back door.
He gives me a wave and walks out the door. After Harry leaves I head to the kitchen to make myself something to eat. My phone starts to buzz, I pick it up and see that I have two messages.
Haz <3: I miss you already beautiful.
Gems: I haven't heard from you all weekend. Are you dead?
I smile at Harry's text and send him a quick reply. I first think of a good excuse for telling Gemma and then I decide to call her.
She immediately picks up,"Hey! Where the hell have you been?" Her voice was filled with concern.
"Relax Gems, I'm fine. I was at home the entire weekend just chilling" I say reassuringly.
"You seem....happy. Something you're not telling me?"
"Nope. Why would I ever hide anything from you?"
"Point. Okay so I have to get ready for work. I'll talk to you later Sel! Byee. Love you!"
"Love you too. Take care." With that Gemma hangs up and I put my phone aside.
All the sudden I feel massive pain in my stomach. I grab onto my stomach and squeeze my eyes shut as the pain becomes unbearable.
Still in pain I take out an Advil. After a while the pain lessens a little but it isn't fully gone. Back when I was getting treatment for my Lupus, stomach pains were very common but I haven't had some in a while.
The affect of the Advil didn't last long and the pains started again. I just sat there on my sofa holding my stomach praying for the pain to stop. The pain were like period cramps multiplied by 10.
As the week went on my stomach pains remained, I also started to get headaches and constantly felt dizzy. I was scared that I would have to start getting treatment for my Lupus again. The pain had become unbearable and the Advil's weren't helping much anymore so I called the hospital and got a doctor's appointment for Thursday.
Till now I haven't told anyone about the pains that I'm feeling lately. I don't want anyone to worry about me. I want to first find out what is causing this and then I can maybe tell people.
I reach the hospital at around 4:30 as my appointment was at 5. I sat there in the waiting area until a nurse appeared in the hallway,"Ms Gomez the doctor is ready for you" she smiles at me.
I get up and follow the nurse to the room. I take a seat and soon a lady with brown hair and blue eyes who looked about 40 came into the room. She smiled at me and took a seat in front of me.
"Hello Selena. I'm Dr Cindy. What seems to be the problem?"
"Well for about 4 days I've been having these massive headaches and stomach pains. I even feel dizzy most of the time"
"Your chart says that you were diagnosed with Lupus a few years ago. Did you feel the same type of pain then as you feel now?"
"The pain then was much harsher but yes it's very similar"
"Well Selena, you'll have to take a few test and we'll call you about the results first thing tomorrow morning!" The doctor says as I give her a polite smile.
I leave the hospital at around 7 and head home. I'm just praying that nothing too bad happens tomorrow. I was really tired so around 7:30 I went to sleep.
I wake up early the next morning and decide to watch some tv. At around 9 I get a call and I answer immediately.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Is this Ms Gomez?" A lady asks.
"Yes, and you are?"
"I'm speaking from the hospital. Dr Cindy would like for you to come in today whenever you can so she can give you the results of the test and further prescription."
"I'm free right now, can I come right now?" I ask.
"Yes sure"
"Okay thank you!" I say and with that I hang up.
I quickly change into a pair of jeans and a nice shirt. I grab my purse and head out of the door.
I reach the hospital soon enough and head to the receptionist, she looks at me and smiles,"Ms Gomez, Dr Cindy is waiting for you. The second room to the left"
I smile at her and mutter a thank you. I knock on the door and hear a "Come In" I take a deep breath before opening the door and walking inside.
"Ms Gomez, please take a seat. I have some news" Dr Cindy says and gestures for me to take a seat.
I get back from the hospital and head to my bedroom. I change into my pajamas and just think. About everything that Dr Cindy told me. Tears started forming into my eyes, I grab my phone and call the person I care about most in the world. My husband.
He immediately answers,"Hello Baby. How are you?"
"Hi, I'm good. You?" I whisper.
"Hey, you okay?" Harry asks with concern.
"Harry. I love you so much. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. I miss you. I wish you were with me right now." I say wiping the test that fell on my cheek.
"I miss you too babe. Just one more day. I love you. Are you okay?" Harry asks his voice yet again filled with concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I somewhat lie.
"Selena, what's up? You can't lie to me. What's wrong. I'm worried!"
I take a deep breath and speak,"Almost immediately after you left I started getting severe stomach pains and headaches followed by dizziness. The pills were just no helping so I got a doctor's appointment. I told her about my Lupus and how I feared that I was getting sick again. So she told me to take a few tests which I did" I pause,"She called me in today and showed me the results"
"And are you okay? Selena please I'm scared now. Are you alright?" Harry asks.
"She told me that all is well and all that was happening was due to the pregnancy hormones" I say.
"Does that mean, We're..?" Harry asks.
"Yes, I'm pregnant"
For a minute I get no answer, this is what I ultimately feared, until I heard Harry's voice,"I'm going to be a dad? We're pregnant! We're pregnant baby!" Harry says in an excited tone.
"You're not mad?" I ask.
"Why would I be mad? This is the greatest news ever babe!"
"I just thought that you might not be so happy, I mean we just got married 10 days ago and I mean, I thought you might leave me-"
I was interrupted by Harry,"I love you with all my heart. And now I'm the happiest man alive with the most beautiful woman as my wife and now I'm about to be a father. I love you Selena, I can't believe we're pregnant!"
I start smiling,"I love you too. We're pregnant!"
"I can't wait for tomorrow to get over with so I can come be with you and my child. Everyone will be thrilled!" I smile.
Sometimes life is unexpected but it all turns out well in the end.
