Raines' POV
I woke up, Liam's head rested in the crook of my neck. I turned my head a little and smiled at nothing before pulling the blanket off of my legs and slowly slipping out of the bed to grab my phone. I heard a grunt from behind me and stopped moving for a second. Once I heard the soft snores coming from Liam, I went ahead and slid out of the bed.
I felt a hand tugging on my arm. I turned around and looked at Liam, who had one eye open and he was looking at me.
"Hey baby," I whispered, leaning back to him and kissing his lips before pulling back.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked me, his voice husky, sending shivers down my spine as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me back to his chest as he buried his face back into my chest. I let my fingers slightly run through the ends of his hair.
"I was going to get my phone...." I muttered.
"No," He said sternly, pulling his face back. "I know what you're going to do. No. Just lay with me...I don't want you having to read all of that..."
I thought about it for a minute, knowing myself that he was right about what I wanted to do when I got my phone. I wanted to see what they were saying now. So I let out a sigh and relaxed into Liam's grip. His arms tightened around me.
"Thank you," He whispered, kissing my collarbone. I smiled and rested my head on top of his.
"Holding me close enough?" I asked him, as I looked down at him, admiring how cute he was.
"No," He said. I laughed, rested my head back on his. I felt his hand slide down my side and rest under my thigh, pulling my leg around him.
His hand slowly rubbed up and down my leg, trying to calm me down. I guess he could tell I was a bit tense. I was holding back tears as the memories of last night came flooding back.
I took in a shaky breath, letting Liam hold me tight. A tear slipped from my eye and landed on him. He looked up at me and I closed my eyes, squeezing them shut.
"They don't know about the things we do
They don't know about the 'I love you'
But I bet you if you only knew
They would just be jealous of us
They don't know about the up all nights
They don't know I waited all my life
Just to find a love that feels this right
Baby they don't know about
They don't know about us
They don't know how special you are
They don't know what you've done to my heart
They can say anything they want
But they don't know about us
They don't know what we do best
It's between me and you, our little secret
But I wanna tell 'em
I wanna tell the world that you're my girl"
I managed to smile through my tears as he sang to me. After he finished singing he reached up and kissed me softly. His voice always could calm me down.
"Can you sing again?" I managed to mutter out.
"Of course."
"Am I asleep?
Am I awake?
Or somewhere in between?
I can't believe you are here and lying next to me
Or did I dream that we were perfectly intertwined?
Like branches on a tree, or twigs caught on a vine
Like all those days and weeks and months I tried to steal a kiss
And all those sleepless nights and daydreams where I pictured this
I'm just the underdog who finally got the girl
And I am not ashamed to tell it to the world
Truly, madly, deeply I am
Foolishly, completely falling
And somehow you kicked all my walls in
So baby say you'll always keep me
Truly, madly, crazy, deeply in love with you
In love with you
Should I put coffee and granola on a tray in bed
And wake you up with all the words that I still haven't said
And tender touches just to show you how I feel
Or should I act so cool, like it was no big deal
Wish I could freeze this moment in a frame and stay like this
I'll put this day back on replay and keep reliving it
Cause here's the tragic truth, if you don't feel the same
My heart would fall apart if someone said your name
Truly, madly, deeply I am
Foolishly, completely falling
And somehow you kicked all my walls in
So baby say you'll always keep me
Truly, madly, crazy, deeply in love with you
I hope I'm not a casualty
I hope you wont get up and leave
Might not mean that much to you, but to me its everything
Everything
Truly, madly, deeply I am
Foolishly, completely falling
And somehow you kicked all my walls in
So baby say you'll always keep me
Truly, madly, crazy, deeply in love
With you
In love with you
In love with you"
By the end of the song, I was smiling. I wasn't crying, only smiling.
"Thank you," I whispered as his thumb gently rubbed under my eye, removing the trails of the tears I had just cried.
"Anything for you baby girl."

We all sat on the bus, either on the phone or sleeping. I was so bored it wasn't even funny. Liam was sleeping behind me. I looked across the room at Harry.
"Harry do you want a girlfriend?" I asked him randomly, pulling out my own phone and trying to find a picture of my friend Katie. She mentioned that she wanted me to tell Harry that she was single. Now I'm finally getting around to it.
"Why?" He asked looking up at me with questioning eyes.
"You'd like my friend Katie. Here's a picture of her. She's 16, about to be 17," I said, throwing my phone at Harry. He set his down and caught mine easily, examining the picture, his eyes widening.
"Text her and tell her who it is. I wanna see if she believes you. She probably won't." Harry shook his head and laughed, but nodded.
"She's a beautiful girl," He muttered. I barely heard it, but I knew what I heard.
"She is! And I'm so glad she got her hair brown again. Like I was freaking out. She looks so pretty with her hair all brown now. It's not like she wasn't pretty before, though. Cause I've always been jealous of her. Like she is freaking gorgeous it isn't even funny."
"She's calling you," Harry told me, practically ignoring my rant about her hair.
"Answer it!" I yelled, jumping out of Liam's arms and walking over to Harry sitting next to him.
"O...k?" He said.
"Hello?" He said, his voice deep and raspy. I clapped my hands and squealed excitedly. He gave me a weird look.
"No, Raines is sitting next to me. She told me I should text you from her phone," Harry explained. Honestly Harry and Katie would be so cute together. In my opinion, they need to meet each other. I should so pay for her ticket to come to our concert tomorrow. She takes online classes so she wouldn't have to worry about missing school. I am so going through with this plan.
"This is the real Harry Styles," He said, a smirk playing on his lips. "I can Skype you from her phone if you want proof." I heard her say something and then he smiled, like a genuine smile, causing my eyes to widen.
"Alright." He hung up and then hit the home button. I looked at him curiously as he scrolled through my phone.
"She wants me to Skype her," He explained, not looking up at me. I smiled even wider, my eyes going up to Liam, whose eyes were still shut, arms crossed over his chest as he slept. I smiled at the boy before looking over at Louis, who's head was leaning against the wall, sound asleep. He needed sleep. I knew it. I could tell by how his eyes were worn out when he was awake. He missed Eleanor too. They were so close to each other and I knew it took a toll on him not being able to be with her. And Zayn can't be with Perrie as much as he wants to either. So me and Liam are especially lucky. I can't complain and I don't plan on it either.
"Hello," Harry called. I looked back at him to see him waving at my phone. He must've been on Skype with Katie now. I heard gasp. I slid over next to Harry, looking at his smiling face, causing me to smile. I looked at my phone and saw Katie sitting at her desk, with her hair down, she had on just a little bit of makeup, a little eyeliner and mascara. I could tell when she wore makeup and when she didn't. I've tried many times to convince her that she doesn't need it, but she never believes me. (Picture of Katie on side.)
"Oh my gosh. You're Harry Styles!" Katie finally was able to get out. Harry laughed and nodded his head.
"Yes I am love. How are you?" He asked her, smiling. Aw he's too cute. He'd treat her better than any guy who's ever been lucky enough to date her.
"I've been better," She said, looking away, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. I saw the faintest of bruises on her neck. I knew I'd ever have to talk about that later.
"How are you?" She turned and asked Harry, not noticing we saw the bruise. I knew Harry saw it by the look on his face.
"I'm good. Pretty bored, sitting on the bus. Raines and I are the only one's who are awake. Meaning it's boring here." Katie laughed and smiled at him. Harry turned the phone towards me and I smiled.
"I didn't think you'd actually talk to him about me!" Katie said with a laugh, her hand on the back of her neck. I saw a painful look in her eye and I laughed nervously.
"Well anything for my best friend!" I told her excitedly, running a hand through my hair.
"I feel special!" She said and I smiled. She wiggled her eyebrows at me and I laughed at her, shaking my head.
"Raines..." I heard someone mumble. I looked over at Liam to see him sitting up, eyes barely open. He looked lazily around the room until his eyes laid on me. I chuckled and pushed myself off the floor, walking over to him and sitting down, beside him, resting his head in my lap. He wrapped his arms around my leg and closed his eyes again.
"Aww!" I heard Katie's voice say. I looked up and saw Harry holding the phone towards me. I blushed and turned, looking at Liam, rubbing his back gently. I let my nails gently run over his side, from his shoulder to his hip.
"You two are so cute," Katie said. I rolled my eyes and sat back, closing my eyes. I felt Liam pull on my legs, resting them in front of him on the couch as he held onto me tighter, moving his arm up to my hips. I smiled, running my hands through his hair and pretended I was asleep, but really I was eavesdropping on Harry and Katie.
