Caitlin's P.O.V

"I am not climbing up that." I said, stretching my neck up to see the top of the Eiffel Tower.

It was Friday, which was the one free day that we had off. The girls and I decided to head out and do so tourism for the day, and we ended at one of the most famous trademark that France has going for itself. The boys from One Step also joined us, claiming 'that three pretty girls shouldn't be out on their own in a foreign country'. I didn't mind them coming, they were actually cute and really sweet. Especially Marty, he's adorable.

"C'mon Red," Marty said, using the nickname he's given me already. "There are elevators."

"Thank God. I thought that there were stairs. I would not climb that, not in these heels." I said, shaking my head.

"You wanna talk about heels? Try these three inches." Julie said, looking down at me. Her heels were rather big. I would not walk around in those types of shoes, they look like death.

"I would just like to point out that there are such things as sneakers." Liz said, pointing towards the British flag converse that she was wearing. They were cute, but they were obviously old. I would probably wear them, but I like to look cute. Oh jeez, that sounded horrible. Thank God Liz cannot read my thoughts.

"But then we'd be copying you, besides, I need to look stylish. Sneakers would not look good with this outfit." Julie said.

"Oh my God, can we stop talking about outfits and clothes? Who the hell cares, they are just clothes. Let's go, I want to actually see France instead of argue about clothes." Liz whined.

"Finally, a girl who doesn't care about clothes!" Sam yelled, throwing his arm around Liz's shoulders. "Now seriously, let's go." He said.

The seven of us began to make our way towards the tourist attraction, talking amongst ourselves. I was walking with Julie, listening to her talking about how excited she was to sing in front of Simon on Sunday. We were picking our song tomorrow and working with Gale nearly all day. I was excited too, but I didn't want to think of the work that we would be doing tomorrow. It was going to be busy, that's all I know.

By the time that the elevator doors open and let us out into the tower, I was restless. Being packed into an elevator with seven people was not something that I liked, nor would I chose to do. So as soon as I was able to get out of the elevator, I was out. I was by the railing as soon as possible, looking out into the city.

It was beautiful to say the least. It was so pretty and picture perfect. I pulled out my phone and started to take a few pictures before I turned to Liz and Julie, telling them to smile. I snapped a picture of them before they could protest. That didn't stop them though, Liz was quick to protest, claiming that she looked horrible and should not be in a picture. I of course ignored her, already in love with the picture of my two best friends. I quickly sent it to my third best friend; Brendon. I miss him so much, I really do.

"Wow," Marty said as he came over to stand next to me.

"Yeah, it's beautiful." I agreed with him, sliding my phone back into my purse.

"Not as beautiful as you though." Marty said.

I laughed, feeling my cheeks heating up slightly. "Very cheesy, very cheesy indeed. Did you really just say that?" I asked through my fit of laughter.

"You aren't supposed to laugh!" Marty practically stomped his foot. "You were supposed to be charmed by my chivalry and ask to be my girlfriend."

"Sorry Marty, that doesn't happen like that. But if you want to call me beautiful, go ahead." I said, leaning against the railing as the wind began to softly blow my hair back.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Honestly, I think that Liz and Beck are going to get together. Look at 'em." Marty said, nodding his head towards the two to our left.

I looked over, watching as Beck and her laughed over something that was unknown to me. I could understand why Marty would think that, but I don't think they will get together. Liz had said that she only sees him as a friend and although I've only known Liz for a short while, I know her enough to know when she isn't interested and she isn't interested in Beck. Although they would be cute together, I think she's more interested in blonds.

"Nah," I shook my head, turning to look back at him. "She's into blonds." I said.

"And what about you?" He asked.

"What about me?"

"What is your type?"

I laughed, he was relentless. "I'll let you know when I figure that out."

We split up with the guys after our adventures at the Eiffel Tower. I wouldn't exactly call it an adventure, as I would call it illegal activity. I have no idea if what we did up there was illegal or not, but I'm sure that screaming that someone just jumped off - or pretending to, Josh - was frowned upon. We were asked to leave by one of the security guards that worked there. I don't really know exactly, he only spoke French and yelled at us until we got into the elevator. Julie had gotten the entire thing on camera and was planning on uploading it as soon as we were allowed to.

Anywho, the girls and I wanted to do some shopping and since the guys didn't, we split up. I was excited to be doing into the city of Paris and shopping. I've always heard about the amazing clothing stores that they had here and I was excited to see if what people say are true. Julie was just as excited, she claimed that she wanted to try on every shoe in the city. Liz was... well she was Liz. She was going along with it because both Julie and I wanted to do some shopping.

Either way, we all ended up with countless bags hanging from our arms. While Julie and I tended to buy more of the cute designer clothes - I haven't spent that much money in years, not since prom - Liz bought more simple things. I admired it to be honest. She didn't strive to dress in the most popular clothing, she was fine with simplicity.

"I think that my arms are going to fall off." The blonde groaned as we sat down for dinner later that afternoon. The small French restaurant was adorable and smelt amazing, I was starving and ready to eat something foreign.

"Same, I should start lifting weights or something." Julie said, sitting in the chair across from Liz. I took the seat in between them at the small, outdoor, circle table. The sun was low in the sky, though the air was still warm.

"That would be ideal. Now, what are you planning on getting?"

<><>

"You can take your opinion and shove it up your ass." Julie said, narrowing her eyes at Liz.

"Hey, watch your mouth. I simply said that Chinese food is better than Italian food. It's a known fact." Liz said, holding up her hands as an exaggeration. I rolled my eyes and continued to eat that salad that I had ordered. I had filled up on the bread that was given free and now I wasn't too hungry. I always had a bad habit of doing that; filling up on the free bread. Nancy would always laugh at me.

"It is not a known fact," Julie argued, "It's your opinion, which is wrong." Julie said.

"Girls, girls." I yelled, gaining the attention of a few bystanders. I ignored them and looked back at the girls. "Mexican food is better." I said.

"No!" Liz yelled, throwing a piece of lettuce at me. I squealed and moved to side, letting the green vegetation fall onto the floor. "I could literally live off of Chinese food." She said.

"Well, that's great for you." Julie said, "But no one cares." Liz glared at the brown haired girl, causing me to laugh at their actions. I swear, they bicker like sisters.

Luckily though, their bickering ended and we were able to enjoy a conversation about something important - who is better, Tom Or Jerry? Of course Julie and Liz didn't agree, they continued their banter. It was actually really cute, I enjoyed watching the two of them go back and forth about it. I didn't join in on their conversation, I just continued to eat and listen. Eventually though, their conversation died off and I was able to ask them what I've been dying to ask them all day.

"So girls, I've been meaning to talk to you about something." I said, setting my fork down.

"Are you pregnant? Can I be the god mother?" Liz asked.

"Why do you get to be the god mother? What if I want to be the god mother?" Julie asked, looking at Liz.

"I asked first. Besides, you don't like kids."

"Just because I don't like kids doesn't mean I don't want to be a god mother."

"Well if you don't like kids, there isn't a point to being a god mother."

"Girls!" I yelled, breaking apart the bickering. "It's important." I laughed.

"Okay, what is it?" Julie asked.

"So I've been doing some thinking and I've realized that it's going to be hard to prove ourselves to Simon. We are up against bands that have been together for years, while we've only been together since July. So, I think that we should discuss whether or not we want to stay together if we don't make it through to the live shows." I said.

The table grew silent as the girls started to think. I was nervous for what would be said, until Liz spoke up. "I want to stay together. I've never thought of being in a band until we were put together and honestly, I love it. Yeah, we got off on the wrong foot and we will probably have a lot more fights, but I want to stay together." She said.

"Me too. If we don't make it through to the live shows, why don't we try and move out to L.A. We could get one of those tiny, cheap apartments, and we could all get a job at a diner and try and make it in the business." Julie said.

"This isn't an eighties movie, it's not going to end with us thrusting our fist into the air." Liz said.

Julie laughed, shaking her head. "You said thrusting."

"Stop being a pervert Julie. But seriously, I think we should consider moving out to L.A if we don't make it through to the live shows. I've got money set  aside for college, but since this is so much more important to me, we could use that to buy an apartment." Liz said.

"I've got some money too. If we don't get to the live shows than we should move to L.A." I said.

"I think that that's going to be a lot of fun, but I really want to make it to the live shows."
