Jacks POV
"What game though?" Joe said immediately after saying lets play a game
"Truth or dare?" Caspar said. We all agreed and sat in a circle with an empty beer glass in the middle.
"Jack" Joe said after half an hour of truth or dare. It had now landed on me for the third time.
"Dare" I said reluctantly. Everyone stayed silent trying to think of something.
"I dare you to pull Lydia" Arielle then spoke up. Everyone laughed clearly knowing that Lydia fancies me.
"A dares a dare" Oli spoke up. He was pissed because he had to drink a shot of oil mixed with vodka. I looked over to Ari and she just bit her lip.
"You gonna do it?" She then said. She was gorgeous. Well gorgeous was an understatement.
"Yeah" I then said looking at her
"Have fun" she then said back and smiled taking a sip out of her pint glass filed with lemonade. I turned around to face Lydia. Her smile almost touched her ears it was so wide.
"You wanna do this?" I asked her even though I know what the answer is going to be.
"Yeah I'm fine" she said. I could see Zoe and Arielle crying of laughter in the corner. Fuck was all I could think. This is going to be the worst kiss ever. Our lips edged closer and closer together. I gulped and closed my eyes. It's a girl right. Nothing bad. I like kissing girls. I just don't like kissing Lydia. After what felt like forever we finally pulled apart.
"Well done" Arielle then smiled to me but half gritting her teeth together. I span the bottle
"Oh look who it landed on now, little miss Rogers" I said
"Hit me with a dare" she replied with. I stayed silent thinking of something. Almost payback.
"Pull Joe"
"You got it" she said standing up. She had got changed now so she was in a pair of joggers and a black vest top. Joe was sat on a chair. She walked over to him and put her legs either side of the chair and sat down on Joe's crotch, she pushed her hair out of her face and leant in like it was nothing. Like her and Joe had done this plenty of times. Joe's hands wrapped around her small waist while hers found there way into his hair. Just as they were about to pull apart she kissed him one last time biting his lip.
"Satisfied?" She asked. I nodded. Caspar walked past Joe and patted him on his back as some sort of congratulations. I rolled my eyes. She spun the bottle.
"Ohh zoeeee" she then said. Zoe look scared.
"Truth" she hesitated. This took everyone a lot longer to think off
"What do you think about?" Lucy then asked "I mean like you must be worried, scared or something like that"
"What do you think about me?" Alfie then asked. An awkward silence fell upon the group. Alfie looked worse then before now. Black eye, swollen lip and cuts all over this face. Zoe took a deep breath
"I don't know anymore Alfie. The spark has gone. Blown out I guess. It used to be fun you know, sneaking about. Dates a midnight. Chats at 4 in the morning. But now Alfie look at you, just look at you. At the club you came over to me and a friend. Emphasis on the Friend. And had kickeys and fucking lipstick stains on your face. Do you know how embarrassing that was for me? And yes you did stick up for us but that's not the point" she said. Her voice cracked
"What's the point then" Alfie said
"There is nothing not stick up for anymore" she huffed a tear fell down her cheek. Arielle put her arm over her
"So it's like 3 now I think we should call it a night" Oli said
"We still all going to sleep in here?" Conor asked. We all agreed but we were all too tired to move everything back I think that why we choose here
"Just need to go grab my charger" Arielle jumped up and walked down the stairs. I got up without anyone noticing and walked back down the stairs. I followed the sound of a girl humming.
"Oh hey" she said locking her phone "what's up?" She asked
"I don't think it's fair" I started
"Oh what's that" she smiled
"That Joe gets all of your attention" I closed the door "that he got to kiss you like that in front of everyone"
"I've done it before chill" she laughed
"What do you mean?"
"Me and Joe, we get off all the time" she said as if it were nothing serious. "Did you not know that?" She said looking at me. This was hard. She was hard
"It's okay though. I mean you got to kiss Lydia" she smirked. "Look Jack. I want you so bad" she whispered. Her breath smelt of alcohol and cigarettes. She played on the hem of my shirt "and I know you want me" she then stated. I laughed
"But you have to make it worth it" she breathed. By now I was leant against the door she was standing in front of me. Looking up into my eyes. Every now and then her eyes would look down to my lips and the back up at my eyes. She leaned across me and then twisted the door knob and walked out. Our skin touching as she did it
"It will be worth it" she winked
