SHERLOCK'S P.O.V

I watched as Moriarty made his way over to me.  He's once again disguised, his hair was in curls to one side and he was wearing a long coat and blue scarf.  He's dressed as me, pretending to be a fan.  He gave us a nervous smile knowing that he had to keep us his act.

"Mr- Mr Holmes, I'm Andy Drake, I'm a big fan," he offered me a shaking hand.

I just stared at him, "There is no point playing this game with me Moriarty I have already beaten you,"

he just smiled them turned to Lucy?, "Hello Lucy, long time no see," Out of the corner of my eye I saw Lucy scowl.

"I refuse to part-take in your stupid, childish game Moriarty.  As Sherlock said he has already beaten you," I grinned.  Only me and Lucy have the audacity to insult Moriarty.

A knocking on the door made us snap out of our little audience, Irene was leaning in the door frame sporting a deep crimson dress which obviously meant to emphasize her womanly features.  I heard Lucy sigh.  She's obviously assumed her elder Sister would be dressed more appropriately for the Family get together.

Lucy got up and made her way over to Irene,

"Hello Sister, how was your journey?" she asked keeping her voice low and monotonous.  Irene raised an eyebrow,

"So I assume that you have met my Boyfriend," Irene said obviously trying to push the subject.

"Yes, I have," I saw Lucy clench her fists.  I watched as Irene's smug grin grew wider and Moriarty wrapped an arm around Irene's shoulder.

"Now you two don't fight, It's almost Christmas we're supposed to be nice," Moriarty said.

"Yes, that is true Laddy," a deep voice said from behind the couple, they parted and I watched as a fifty-three year-old, diabetic man walked into the room.  Lucy rushed over to him,

"Dad!" she said pulling him into a hug.  She obviously has a stronger relationship with her Father then her Mother, maybe it's because of her Mother's past alcohol addiction which has lead to three scars of Lucy's back.  Her Father quickly wrapped his arms around her, she's most obviously his favourite child, he avoids all contact with Irene and makes sure that when he moves that he doesn't touch her.  He really must hate Irene.

"Sherlock?" I looked up to see a smiling Lucy,

"Yes?" I responded leaning back into my seat watching her Father carefully, severely diabetic and a brain tumor which he hasn't told Lucy about.  Tut-tut.

"This is my dad Mitchell, he's a big fan of John's blog," she said gesturing quickly to her Father.  Mitchell held out his hand obviously expecting me to shake it.  I hesitated but I saw Lucy glare at me and quickly shaking his hand.

"Pleasure to meet you Mitchell," I said trying to sound as 'joyful' as possible.  He smiled showing of a set of white teeth,

"Mr Holmes, the pleasures all mine, believe me," he said chuckling.  I watched as he turned to Moriarty.

"Hello, as you heard I'm Mitchell and you are?"

"Andy Drake, Irene's Boyfriend, I'm also a big fan of John's marvellous blog,"

The next two hours I spent having to endure their constant talking about mine, John's and Lucy's cases, often adding recommendations on how we could of done something better.  Moriarty suggestions were to just annoy me but dear god Mitchell's were mindless and foolish.  Lucy in the meantime had taken her seat next to me attempting to distract me from her and 'Andy Drake's' mindless chatter.

She rested her head on my shoulder,

"Don't worry Sherly, you'll get used to them," she said stroking a piece of hair out of my eyes.  Irene had opted to go and see her Mother who was making phonecalls and making yet another cup of the dreaded Yorkishire Tea.

"Lucy, please, it's almost unbearable!" I whispered and felt heer giggle into her side.

"When was the last time you had a family Christmas?" she said looking at me with questoning eyes.

"Well I was seventeen, so quite a while ago," I said and almost laughed when she gasped.

"But your thirty that was like years ago!" she exclaimed.

"Lucy, if you wan't to know why I'll tell you another time," I whispered and almost groaned when her Mother walked in with the fifth tray of tea.  I looked at Lucy with pleading eyes but she just grinned and signalled for me to drink up.

"So Sherlock, why don't you do that magic trick you do when you tell people things about themselves," Mitchell suggested.

I closed my eyes trying to contain my annoyance.

"It-is-called-a-deduction," I said through gritted teeth.  How stupid could one man be.

"yes-yes deduction, so how about you deduce Andy?" I watched as everyone's gave focused on me.

Well this is a chance to prove my intellect.

"Ok, Andy last night was clubbing in a bar in Dublin called 'The four-leaf clover' before catching the bus home where he met Irene who was staying the night.  This morning he showered before catching a plane with Irene, while on the train he had a rather disappointing breakfast which was a egg and bacon sandwich.  Later, once the plane had landed he and Irene got a cab and came straight to your house," I finished my deduction swiftly.

Mitchell's eyes were wide but somehow his wife's eyes were wider while Moriarty and Lucy remained un-fazed.

"Is this correct Andy?" Mitchell said.  Andy nodded.

"A fantastic deduction Mr Holmes, how on earth did you know?" Moriarty exclaimed.

"Well, on your hand there is a green stamp that has obviously been faded by this morning's shower.  The stamp shows quite clearly a four-leafed clover.  At first to a normal brain this would suggest that maybe you were at some kind of festival or zoo, but if you look closer you can see the the letters 'T-F-L-C" this narrows it down to Dublin's most popular club, The Four-Leaf Clover.  I know Irene stayed the night because you both smell of the same shampoo, I know that she might of brought the same one as you but It is highly unlikely that you'd find Irene buying men's body-wash.  Now I can tell you had a shower because the remains of the stamp and your hair, if you'd just gone to sleep then got up and left the stamp would not be as faded as it is now and also your hair would not be as  clean.  I can tell that you haven't used any dry-hair shampoo or talcum powder because their is no residue, a simple deduction.  The signs that you caught a plane lies in you and Irene's pockets, both of you have tickets shoved into your pockets both for the same aeroplane and flight and they was stamped for today. I know you had a disappointing breakfast because of the your facial expression when I mentioned the breakfast, before you had been quite happy but the slight down turn of the lips showed me that the breakfast was very disappointing, I can tell that it was a bacon and egg sandwich because you have some of left over yolk on your lips and bacon grease on your finger tips where you had picked up the sandwich. Now also in your coat pocket there is a receipt from a cab which was given to you today according to the date.  You paid the money that would get you from the airport to here, to back this up I know that the cab you took was one of the Dundee Taxi's because of the title.  Once again a very simple deduction,"

I sat there and watched as Mitchell and his wife took the information in.

"And you got all that just from looking at Andy?" Lucy's mother exclaimed.

"Yes, I did," I replied but almost cried out when Lucy's sharp elbow dug into my side.  I glared at her but she just smiled innocently back.  Lucy's Mother placed a cup of tea beside me before hurrying out of the room, obviously to go and tell Irene about my deduction.  I watched as slowly Lucy's eyes started to close.  I sipped at my tea before placing it back down on the coffee table besides me, there is alot more then two sugars in that tea.  Lucy's full weight rested against my shoulder and I turned my head to look at her sleeping form before standing up.

"Well I better put her to bed, where is our room?" I said directing the question at Mitchell.

"Up the stairs and the room at the end of the corridor," he replied as I lifted Lucy from the sofa cradling her in my arms.

"Well goodnight Mitchell, Andy," I said before carrying her to our room.

A/N

Hi sorry that it's take me so long for me to upload but I've been busy.  So first proper explanation for a deduction, what did you think? I think I did pretty well.  So how have you all been and thank you for all the lovely comments on chapter twenty-seven.  Right this is a very important question and I really need answers.

When in the UK (or America) Sherlock starts up again, do you want me to carry on with the book?

Please I really need an answer to this.

Anyway please feel free to vote, comment and tell your friends.
