Sunlight danced across Tyler's face waking him up
His neck was pulled from sleeping on the couch- for the third time this week.
Thank god it's Friday Tyler thought to himself. Jenna would be away at her moms already
He automatically felt bad for being glad his wife would be gone. He loves her and he knew that she still loves him. But maybe some time apart would be good for the two of them.
He headed to their bedroom to finally get some rest in his own bed.
He paused as his hand touched the bedroom door.
There was a note
" Tyler I'm going to my mothers this weekend, and for the rest of the month.
I'd like:
•Your stuff packed
•The basement emptied
• And you gone
-Jenna "
He held the note very carefully like it would fall apart any second, just like his life had.
He flipped the note over
"Also, the divorce papers are on the fridge. Please have those signed too."
Tyler tried to focus on the note, the longer he stared at it- trying to make sense of it, the more it got fuzzy. His eyes began to water.
