"What happened.." (F/N) said as she tended her wound on your arm. You rested on your bed as (F/N) sat on the side.
You didn't answer her, and instead let her continue to pull shards of glass out of your skin. It stings like hell.
"Aish.. Oww."
"Hey are you gonna answer me?"
"S-sorry. Ow ow—"
"Yeesh.. Keep it in. You have a couple left." She clicked her tweezers then continued pulling the glass. "Now what happened?"
You heaved a sigh, "I was talking with my trying to get him out of his cave.. He was drunk and threw an empty beer bottle at me."
(F/N) looked up, astonished. "What the fuck? What's wrong with him.." She looked down again at your arm.
You shifted your gaze away, then grinned when you remembered what tomorrow is. 'Christmas..'
"Alright.. This is gonna sting," said (F/N), dabbing your glass-free arm in a wet towel while cleaning the blood, "like legit stinging."
She grabbed a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and turned it upside down onto the towel. "Oh hell no," you said.
"Look it's to prevent infections." She looked away and back at you. "Like I want to hear screaming."
"Alright... Grab onto something. Bite your lip, hold your tongue, whatever! Stifle your screaming."
"I don't think I can— OH MY FUCKING JAMS IN SCORCHING HELL!"
~Time Skip~
You and (F/N) sat on the couch of your living room after she cleaned your wound and bandaged it. You didn't feel the same.
"So-so what are you and Ryan doing for Christmas?"
"Eh?"
"For Christ...mas... Hey.. Is that the silver necklace I gave to you on your birthday?"
(F/N) looked down at her collarbones where half a heart rested. She smiled fondly and looked at you with sparkling eyes. "Yeah.. I still have it." She held onto the heart and the carving.
You felt ashamed that you took yours off when you lashed out on (F/N). You felt your bare neck and looked at your friend, "Why-why do you still have it?"
She scoffed and studied the writing. "I don't know.. But just because I left you, doesn't I mean I forget you," she stared at you, "same for BTS. Just because they left us, doesn't mean they forget."
You considered the thought and peered at the necklace. You smiled indulgently, "Thank you for keeping it." You glanced towards your room. "I'll be right back."
You stood up from the couch and went to retrieve your necklace from your room. You came back beaming while latching the necklace.
Your smile began to fade as you faced away from your friend. "I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused. I understand how much of a wuss I am, but it's because of my mom, then my dad, BTS leaving without telling me—"
(F/N) laid her hand firmly on your shoulder and embraced you in a hug. "I'm sorry too. For leaving you when you needed me most. I love you (Y/N)."
You accepted her apology and hug. But you began to grieve. "(F/N)... My mom.."
You lightly tapped her back to tell her to let go. "My mother.. I visited her today." She listened attentively. "She has only five days."
"What?" (F/N) said barely a whisper, overwhelmed.
You shifted your gaze, then felt a hand envelop yours.
"I won't leave this time."

BTS P.O.V.
==========
They pulled the confetti and celebrated another Christmas spent together.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!"
Seokjin came out with everyone's favorite dish and set it on their coffee table, with a radiant smile. "Let's eat."
"Thanks, hyung," said Hoseok.
Everyone grabbed their portion and devoured the food.
"I wish (Y/N) and (F/N) noona were here," Taehyung said with mouth full of food.
Seokjin said, "I wish I got to see her mother one more time. She's really sweet."
"You think she's doing better?" Yoongi said. Seokjin shrugged.
Everyone continued to eat.
Namjoon looked up nervously, "Do you think we should've told her..?" He received mix stares. "I mean.. She.. Well.."
"Now like it would've mattered. Her heart would've been broken," said Jimin, dramatically stabbing his heart.
"Hey, it's not funny, Jimin."
"Sorry."
"It's probably for the best. I hope (F/N) and (Y/N) are coping well." Jungkook said.
"Oh hey! Guess whose birthday is in a few days?" said Jimin.
Taehyung smiled weakly, "Yah."
"Ahh. You're gonna be 21, right?" Yoongi asked.
Taehyung nodded then was later attacked by Hoseok. "AHHH my dongsaeng is gonna be older!!"
The other members clapped as if they were an audience.
Taehyung pushed Hoseok off and said, "Please stop."
Seokjin laughed and held up his drink of sparkling wine. "Merry Christmas!"
