Oh geez. Scott hated getting asked questions. Especially ones like those. For any other person, they'd come easy, but Scott overthought everything. If he said he was "okay", people might say "just okay?". On the other hand, if he said "good", people would say "that's good", then there would just be awkward silence. Good? Okay? He needed to choose...
"I'm gay." God dang it Scott. Vincent burst out laughing.
"T-that's not what I meant!" Scott's face was bright red, hands clenched into fists, eyes squeezed shut to keep back tears. He hated being embarrassed.
"Aww, Ring Ring."
"W-well, I mean, I am gay but that's not what I meant to say in that particular moment because I wanted to say either good or okay and they just got mushed together and-" Babbling. Another habit of Scott's.
"Scott. It's fine." He kissed Scott's forehead quickly. "You're gay. And okay. We get it."
Scott managed to laugh a little at that. "You wanna be my boyfriend?"
Vincent's eyes widened. "Did you mean to say something else, or...?"
"No, I... I-I'm serious... s-sorry."
"Hello serious." Vincent kissed Scott on the lips for probably less than a second. "I'm your boyfriend."
