It was Tuesday, Tanner woke up and ran down to the living room "Mom" he yelled no one answered "mom" he yelled again no one answered. He ran to the living room. Then, his mom's room, she wasn't there. He ran to the window, he heard footsteps, he turned around and saw a man in mid-swing, it look like the bat the man was holding was aimed for his head. Time stopped for a second then he felt the bat hit his head. He blacked out. He woke up in a dark room. There was nothing in that room except the chair he was sitting in and the bright light that was shining in his eyes. The door opened and a tall man with a long beard walked in. He shut the metal door and locked it. The man walked into the center of the room. "What am I doing here" Tanner yelled. The man responded in a scary voice. "Your family has stole from us, we are only returning the favor."
"Does that mean you're going to kill me" Tanner said "yes" the man with the beard answer. The man with the beard walks out of the room, the door shut, and he was alone again while the man was out of the room. Tanner managed to get out of the rope off, that held his hands together. He stood up and walk to the door he pulled on it. It was locked, but not from he inside, from the outside, so he can't unlock the door. He looked for another way out, he saw a vent. He pulled the cover off it and started crawling through. He didn't know the way to get out, so he just kept guessing until he saw another vent with a light shining through it. He crawled even faster to then the pushed it open and saw a car zoom by. It was the right way. He got out of that building and he recognized where ha was. He started walking the way he thought was the way home. 45 mins later, he got home, and walked in to his house. He couldn't tell if there was a person in the house or if it was just the floor creaking. He hoped it was just the floor creaking. He stepped farther into the house and heard a
