**** STORY START
I gulped as I stared at him with horror. He had a smirk on his face and was just walking in circles around me.
"What is this beautiful lady doing here, all alone?" He said from behind me.
I was too scared to do anything. Maybe if I stayed quiet, he would be nice and leave.
He came in front of me. "Don't be scared" He said as he touched the side of my face.
I cringed at his touch. It was freeezing cold.
"W-w-who are y-you" I stuttered as I asked.
"The names Drane" He replied.
"Your a vampire" I stated.
He smiled showing off his fangs. "Your a smart girl, aren't you?"
"W-what d-do you want?" I asked.
"Your little wolfies have been pissing me off. And from a little research, I found out your Jacob's girl" He said all mad.
Before I could say anything, a huge gust of wind blew, which caused my hair to fly around. I looked over at Drane and his eyes were shut, taking a huge breath. "Your blood smells good, so...tempting."
My breathing got heavier as I tried to hold down my hair. He began to walk aorund me again, but this time he stopped behind me and starting kissing my neck.
I tried to push him away but he used his stupid vampirestrengthand pushed me against a tree. He started to gaze at me which creeped me out. "You are beautiful, such a shame I'm gonna have to kill you."
My heart skipped a beat when he said that. I was going to die.
He leaned towards my neck but stopped and said "Unless...."
"U-unless what?"
"You be my mate" He said giving me a creeepy smile.
I was lost for words. I couldn't say anything, mostly because I couldn't find my voice. I took a deep breath "Your mate? Why?"
"You are too pretty to kill and I figured if your my mate, I could drink your blood all I want."
I shook my head. "Jacob.."
He laughed. "Don't worry about him, he is soon going to die."
I started to cry at the thought of Jacob getting hurt. "Please, just leave us alone. I don't want to be your mate or anything at that."
Out of no where, he slapped me. I flew against a tree and yelled as my head hit the tree. My cheek was stinging and I'm pretty sure a bruise was forming.
He bent down to my level. "No one rejects me" He said through gritted teeth.
I cried harder and yelled as he stepped on my leg. "STOP, PLEASE !!!"
Drane stepped off of my leg and grabbed my face. "Be a good girl" He said as he smashed his cold, hard lips against mine. I tried to push him away, but I couldn't.
Then, I bit his lips as hard as I could.
"Ughhh, you little bitch !!" He yelled as he spit blood out. He then threw me on against the ground again.
After, he came on top of me and said "I can't wait to drink your blood." He lowered his head to my neck and started licking around, probably searching for a vain. After, I felt his sharp teeth, break into my skin.
Either I was going to die, or be a vampire.
But whichever it is, my life would be ruined
I took a deep breath, "I love you Jacob." Then got reaady for the pain !!
Embry's POV****
"It's been a while since Miley left for fresh air" I said to everyone.
Sam nodded. "Now to think of it, it has."
"What if something happened?" Emily said all worried.
Sam rubbed her arm. "Don't worry, she probably went to Jacob's."
"But she would atleast let us know" I said.
"What if she went into the forest?" Paul asked. "The vampire is still out there."
Jared shook his head. "Jacob warned her. I wouldn't think she would go."
Seth agreed by nodding his head.
"I'm gonna go call Jake" I said getting up to get the phone.
I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.
"Helloo"
"Yo Jake, it's me Embry"
"Oh hey, what up?"
"Is Miley there?"
"No, I thought she was at Sam's, with you guys"
"She was, but then she said she's going to go get fresh air. And she didn't come back, we thought she might went to your house"
"What the hell? She's not over here. Where is Miley?"
"Dude, chill. Uhm, we think she might of walked into the woods..."
"WHAT !!?? Are you serious!!!!???"
"Call George and check if she's there, we're going to go check in the forest" I said.
"No, I'll go. Tell someone else too check"
"Kay" I said as I hung up. I turned back to everyone. "Sam, she's not there."
Sam stood up. "Omg, let's go. And Em, Call George and let him know and stay in the house."
Emily nodded. Sam kissed her and we were off.
Jacob's POV***
My heart rate was increasing by the second. I called George and he said she wasn't there.
Oh god, where could she be. These questions ran through my mind as I was running in my wolf form around the forest. I sniffed the air, trying to pick up her scent.
Me- Guys, where could she be?
Sam- Don't worry, we'll find her
Quil- Yeah Jake, she couldn't have gone far
I continued to run, but slowed down when Miley's scent got stronger.
I told the guys to come with me as I followed the smell.
"STOP, PLEASE !!!"
That's Miley !!!
Me and the guys ran and what I saw before my eyes, angered me.
Miley was on the ground, with a vampire on top of her. He bent down to bite her and I heard Miley whisper "I love you Jacob."
Before that stupid Vamp could do anything, I pounced on him and the guys followed my attack.
I let the guys finish him off. I changed back into my human form and put on my shorts. I ran to Miley.
"Mils, are you okaay?"
She groaned and closed her eyes.
I looked at her and her face had a huge bruise, head was bleeding and her leg seemed broken.
This made me soo mad, but I controlled myself. I carried her bridal style to Carlise's house.
I ran as fast I could, glancing at Miley every so often. I really felt bad about what happened.
When I got to their house, I knocked rapidly. Esme opened the door with Carlise standing behind her.
"Hello Jacob" Esme greeted with a smile but when she noticed Miley's condition, she got worried.
"Please, Miley is barely breathing, help" I said getting straight to the point.
Carlise quickly took Miley from me and went upstairs. I sat in the living room, and slowly started to cry.
I heard footsteps. I looked up and everyone was standing there except for Esme and Carlise.
Bella came up to me. "Jake !! I saw Miley. What happened to her !!??"
"Stupid vampire got to her" I said looking away.
"Aww don't worry. She'll be fine" Bella said as she took a seat next to me.
"Yeah !! Miley is a tough girl" Emmet said trying to help.
Everyone said comments about how she will get through it.
"Thanks, but I wanna be alone right now" I said getting up. I walked outside and sat on the bench.
Then I cried. A lot.
Again, I heard someone and when I looked up, I saw Bella
"Jake, don't cry" She said.
"I just feel so bad. I mean, it's all my fault Bells" I said through my tears.
"No, it isn't" Bella said.
"Yeah, If I was taking better care of her, she wouldn't have been this hurt !"
"Well, I feel it's her own fault. She shouldn't have been in the forest."
I got kinda mad.
"Bells, don't act like you never went in the forest when you were told not to."
Bella looked down. I sighed and said "Sorry, it's just I can't live without Miley. I love her !!"
"You don't love me anymore" Bella said.
I looked at her. "I do. I will always love you but not in that way anymore."
"Why not ??"
"I love Miley. I have always felt something for her" I said.
Bella scooted closer to me. "I get it." Then she opened her arms for a hug.
I cracked a smile and hugged her back. All of a sudden, I felt her lips on mine. And involuntary, I kissed back. I finally came to my senses and pushed her away.
"What the fuck !?"
Bella looked scared. "I'm so sorry Jake. It just happened."
I calmed down. "It's alright. Just pleaaase, leave !!"
She kissed my cheek and left.
