PERCY'S POV
'What are you doing here?' I whispered.
'Wow. That's one way to greet your buddy' the man,or should I say,teenager stood up. The olive skin,the dark armor,the charcoal eyes.
Nico looked just as he had when I was alive.
'You're dead too?' I asked Nico. 'Well,not technically. I'm half way between death and life,and so are you now. That's the door to the the realm of my father,and our ticket out of here' He pointed his chin to a huge fifty feet door,encrusted with skulls.
'Seriously,no. I am not going to the king of the dead and beg him to let us go. No,I'd rather stay here'
Nico rolled his eyes. 'Stop being a douche. Besides,I've already talked to Hades,he allows us to leave here. He was one of the gods on our side'
He spoke again. 'Percy I know we aren't friends with gods,but at least keep those on our side,on our side'
I shrugged. 'Fine. So we just catwalk out of those doors and voìla-we're in the real world'
'Well we're in the real world since this is Hades realm. You see-' I gave Nico a look and he stopped. '-okay I'm boring you. I'll cut to the chase. We'll have to fight the Immortal Gatekeeper'
'Who?'
'He's the Guardian of the World. Chaos created him. Extremely powerful'
'Alright. Specs?' I went into warrior mode
'Appearance. Huge,light golden color,carries a huge axe. And oh-can use Chaos powers'
'Tch. Won't be an easy wall to get over. Well where is he?'
Nico pointed at the doors. 'Through there'. Well then let's go,Ghost boy'
'Sure,seaweeds for brains' I laughed. And on that happy note,we crossed through the doors.
A.N: Guys this chapter is mostly gonna be based on Percy and Nico and their current 'get out of hell' quest. Enjoy.
NICO'S POV
I smiled. Unlike earlier,now Percy didn't flinch from his past,but he met it head on. It seems like Percy finally embraced his past.
We opened the doors that would lead us to our loved ones.
'Well well well,you took long enough. I haven't fought anyone in years'. Through the door was a small,dark room. Sitting on a large rock in the middle was a man,appearing as if in his twenties. He was wearing a Roman centurions armor guard. His helmet,though was a Greek Spartan Helm. Although I couldn't guess spot on,I kind of knew who he was.
'Legendary' I whispered. 'Either your Themistockles or King Leonidas. The Greek legends'
'Very well done,son of Poseidon. But I'm not an oblivious king who almost lost us a war. I am the one who won the war. I'm Themistockles' He bellowed.
I looked the legend directly in his eyes. 'It is said that after winning the war,Themistockles went mad and started boasting that he won a war,and all that. I always that if by any chance,I met you,I would ask you. Would you really do something so lowly?'.
Themistockles' eyes flashed,but I did not see even a shred of knowledge in them,but only anger and pride. 'Well it is true. I did win a war. Nobody has the strength or courage to go against me'
'Not until now,Themistockles,not until right now' and I charged Themistockles.
I put up a shield of lightning around me,and inside the shield I created a water cyclone which hurled me towards Themistockles.
Themistockles smirked and his axe turned dark. He swing it towards me and I went crashing down to the corner of the room.
Woah. That's the first time I've been countered like that. Well,like I said,not an easy wall to get over. But I've got wings. I'll fly over them.
NICO'S POV
I stood there,staring at the both. I knew if I joined now,I'd only be a nuisance. Percy was actually losing. Cuts and bruises were clearly eminent on his body. Wow,that's the first time since the blessing of Chaos had been given to him. But what was strange was that he was smiling.
Wait-Don't tell me. He's holding back so he can enjoy himself. That guy.
'IS this all you can do' roared Themistockles. 'Puny god'. Percy called forth the dark energy of Destruction and the light of Chaos. Combining them,he created a small multicolored ball of power.
'He pointed it towards Themistockles and yelled. 'Holy Shadow God's Fang Flash'. Themistockles answered with his own. 'Winning Man's Final Cry'.
Cannons fired from both sides and I felt like being ripped apart. Light covered the room and I couldn't see.
BIANCA'S POV
Just as we were going to sit down and talk,huge earthquakes rattled us. In a flash,a camper burst into the room. His face in horror.
'What's the quantity of the army?' Asked Jacob,as if he already knew what was happening. '15 thousand' the camper replied 'But that's not the problem. They have a fire breathing drakon on their side'
'Well that won't be a problem for you guys right? I mean I heard there was a guy on your side who could slay drakons?' said Bow,remembering Clarisse.
The camper hurried on. 'Well she can,but this is no ordinary drakon. This drakon is japanese in origin,known as Acnologia,the drakon slayer. It is said he was a man once,but killed so many drakon and bathed in the blood,that he became a drakon himself. He is the Drakon King'
Jacob looked steadily at all of us. I knew that I was part of the elite of the elite army of Chaos. We were supposed to be ready for everything. We were the bravest,but right now I was feeling alone,deserted. Even though I was with friends,I was feeling like I was left in a corner.
'Iroas is not to know about this. Bow,Arrow and Maiden,make a line of archers with the campers help behind the fighting squad. Vitriol and Forge,fighting squad. Since there is no need for traps,Bandit and Raider,you'll help the fighters. Charmer,medical attention. And Huntress'he focused on me 'You're with me. We're taking down a drakon. Let's go'
'But wait' He stopped on Bandit's call. 'Hmm?' 'Who are you?'. 'Me?' he said. 'I am Cathlan Reedis,son of Zeus'.
PERCY' POV
I coughed,unable to breathe. My gods,that was the biggest blast I've ever been a part of. I looked around and well - I couldn't. I used the water particles to rain on the smoke,and it settled down.
Nico was sitting against the wall,barely conscious. Themistockles was lying in a bunch in a corner. I pushed myself up and pulled Nico up too.
'Don't kill me,please,Themistockles!' He whimpered. 'Really funny' I rolled my eyes at him. He smirked. Breathing heavily,we opened the big sized door. 'Wait' said Themistockles,getting up. I readied my sword for battle. 'I don't want to fight. I just need to tell you something'. 'What?'. 'Well,I wanted to say that uncommon prophecies,bring dead,Perseus'. And in a very dramatical way,he fell to the ground. 'What a moron',Nico rolled his eyes.
We walked through the doors..
BIANCA'S POV
I stumbled from the Minoutar's heavy club strike. From a second,I looked around. Everybody was struggling. Everybody was down. Without Percy,Nico and Luke,we were hopeless. Jacob was a good fighter,but he was no match for End.
I saw with horror as End's sword went through Jacob.
He fell to the ground. Blood pooled on the ground.
My eyes lingered on Jacob a second longer,and as I looked up again,the Minoutar's club was coming down over me.
I let my feelings control me. At that moment of fear I screamed out.
'Where are you,Percy?! WHERE ARE YOU?!'
'I was always here,and I always will be' A soothing voice said.........
