I don't know what Theo's done to me. I am so crazy head over heels for him. Morning light is invading and reminding me I have another day of school to attend. Strange how I have done something so important in my life and the world still turns... Everyday life carries on. Theo's arm is circling my waist my back pressed lightly to his bare chest.

He's so... Perfect. I know he's awake now because he rubs his thumb over my forearm.

"Morning." He kissed my cheek. A rush of butterflies soared in me as I smiled. Waking up with him has never felt so peaceful and so right. I have no regrets for what took place here last night. There's nothing to regret. I love him. Simple as that.

"Please tell me we don't have to go to school." I muttered.

"You don't but I do. I have to attend school if I want to play tonight." He curled up his body in a more fetal position bring my body closer to him and he buried his face in my hair.

He reluctantly rolled out of bed and threw on a black shirt that showed off his physique.

I threw on a tank top and sweats forgetting I was close to completely bare and crawled on the bed.

"Hey." I blurted and his green eyes darted up, waiting.

"I know it was my first time and I mean-. I just- I'll get better... I hope. I- Was it bad for you?" I regretted the question already knowing the answer is a big fat yes.

Before I could blink he was holding my face in his hands. "That was by far the best night of my life. No way in hell was that in any way bad for me." He began to kiss my neck and I cursed out under my breath. He chuckled darkly in my neck still and pulled back. His eyes were bright and beautiful as always.

"I have to go. You stay and relax at home today. The game is at seven and I need to visit home today so I most likely won't be back. The jersey is on the ironing board. I love you." He kissed me and left.

Alone in the house.... What to do?

I showered quickly to feel clean again and ate some leftover food. Blasted some music and then binged on MTV's catfish. Such a good show. It still stunned me how people were so willing to believe lies.

Who am I to judge? I don't remember when I decided to become so passive and to ignore the lies I hear from Theo. But I've also become fearful. Of what happens without him in my life...

My safety is of no consequence anymore. I simply mean how could I deal with ever losing him? I couldn't...

When the time rolled around, I got ready and happily slipped into his jersey. A note fell out of it addressed to me in Theo's handwriting.

Cant wait to look up in the stands and see your beautiful face. Have fun tonight with the girls. Win or lose tonight I have you. No matter what happens... Know I care about & love you.

Sweet. But his note had a strange tone to it... Like a goodbye?

I brushed it off as I arrived to the game and sat with Kira, Lydia, and Malia. All of us had made signs for our boys except Lydia who sat preoccupied talking to some cop by the last name of Parrish. He wasn't really my type... Personality wise anyway... He had this strange attitude of entitlement that kinda made me want to kick his ass just to show him
who's boss. But Lydia likes him. He seems ok really. I'm just giving him a hard time because I'm worried.

The score is down by one goal and we only have 20 seconds on the clock. Scott gained control of the ball and ran across the field quickly he hurled it into the net at 15 seconds. A tie.

15 seconds to win or lose. Theo got the ball this time sprinting towards the goal. He threw and scored! The stands went ballistic cheering. I was among them high-fiving and screaming.

"Geez. I'm a banshee and even I don't scream that loud." Lydia teased. I rolled my eyes, laughing and searched for Theo. I felt his hand grab mine.

"Follow me." He whispered. I giggled and disappeared with him. We ran across the green turf away from the crowd and onto the edge of the neighboring woods. I laughed breathlessly and kissed him.

"I'm so proud of you. You played so well." I grinned. His face was only half visible in the light.

"Let's play another game. Hide and go seek." He grinned mischievously. I laughed.

"Ok Raeken. Since you like playing games." I covered my eyes and counted to 100. I began to follow his scent into the trees. Something was mingled I. It but I couldn't tell what it was. Something foreign was mixed in with his usual smell of pine.

"Theo! I'm coming for you!" I shouted into the empty trees. I continued on, using my wolf eyes because my normal vision was failing me at this late hour.

I saw Theo's frame leaning on a tree and I smiled.

A strange clicking and whirring sound came from next to him and I stopped filled with fear. That sound only came from three things: the dread doctors.

They were standing behind Theo staring at me. Tall and fearsome.

"Theo?" I questioned. He looked away from me. "What's happening?"

"My dear. Your conditions have not been tested." One spoke and fear rose up again within me rocking me to the core. I did the only logical thing... I ran. I shouted out for Scott. Liam. Kira. Someone.... Theo was with the doctors as I feared. I would be receiving no help from him. I trusted him and now I am running for my life, close to death.

They of course caught me. Their hands locked and secured my limbs down as I
struggled and screamed. Theo stood over me watching blankly. A sharp pain stung my neck. A needle. Consciousness was fading. I just caught one last fleeting glimpse of Theo.

"Traitor." I murmured before giving myself over to sleep and the dread doctors.
