STORY START****
"He-h-he got into a car a-a-acident" Jenny said slowly.
"WHAT" I cried. "Jenny please tell me this is a joke."
Jenny started to cry even more. "Its not. Hes in the hospital."
"Its can't be happening to him. Is he okay?"
"Nothing can be said."
I started to cry really hard.
The whole cafeteria were confused but sad at the same time.
"Miley, dont cry" Jenny said through tears.
I didn't say anything, instead kept on crying.
Leah took the phone from me and started to calm Jen down. After 5 minutes, she hung up.
"C-can you t-ake me to the h-hospital?" I asked.
"Sure come on" Jared said pulling me to the car with Leah and Paul right behind us.
The drive to the hospital was pretty quiet, except for me crying and everyone else asking me if I'm alright. When we got there, I rushed to his room. Leah told me where he would be.
I saw Jenny, Billy, Charlie and Bella sitting on the chairs outside his room. I quickly ran to them and hugged them all.
Carlise came and told us he was in coma.
At that moment, I died......my heart died......my soul died.....my hopes died....
My Georgie was in freakin coma. Do you know how long coma can last?? It could last forever.
Half and hour later****
I was sitting on Paul's lap, him stroking my hair and me obviously crying.
"Shhh Baby Mils" Paul soothed. "Everythings gonna be ok."
I breathed heavily. "I hope so Paul."
"Miley?" I heard someone call.
I looked up and saw Jacob and the rest. I quickly ran to him.
"George" I said.
"I know I know" Jacob said hugging me tightly.
"Excuse me?"
I turned around and saw a different doctor than Carlise.
"Yeah?"
"I'll be the doctor from now on. Carlise had to go" He explained.
"Um okay. My name is Miley Henderson and thats Jenny."
Jenny gave a nodd and put her head back on Emily's shoulder.
"Hi, I'm Trent Cross" He said putting his hand for me to shake.
I shaked his hand and said "Are you new or something? I never saw you before."
He nodded. "Yes I am. I just transferred hospitals. But I did come here before."
"Okay."
"I'm really sorry about George. I'm sure he will be alright" Trent said trying to make me feel better, but it wasnt working.
"T-t-thank Y-you" I struggled to say before I put my head to Jacob's chest.
Many hours later***
It was now 2 am. Doctor Trent let me and Jacob stay, seeing my condition. Me and Jake weren't going to school. I mean, how could I learn about math and other stupid classes when George was in the hospital....in coma.
Jacob didn't want to go, because of me.
Emily forced Jenny to stay the night in her house. So right now, it was me and Jacob sitting on the waiting area chairs. I was actually on Jacob's lap.
My condition was:
Eyes were red and puffy.
Face was red and had tear stains.
Couldn't really talk.
Breathing really hard.
Red nose
Dry lips
To sum it all up, I looked like shit....maybe even worse.
"Jacob?"
"Yeah" Jacob said as he was rubbing my back with one hand and my thighs with the other.
"Is George going to be alright?" I asked, scared of the answer.
"Obviously" Jacob said. "Maybe it will take a few days, but he will be fine."
"I-I love you Jacob" I said as I kissed his chest.
"I love you too Smiley Miley" He said kissing my forehead.
When he used my nickname, I remembered the rest.
"Wanna hear the nicknames Jared, Seth and Paul made up for me while we were ditching class?" I asked looking up at him.
He smiled. "Sure."
"Paul made up one first, his is Baby Mils. Seth's is Milla-Million. And Jared's is Mini Monster."
"Those are great. But I like mine more."
I smiled but frowned remembering George.
"I swear, If my George isn't better, I'm gonna kill myself" I whispered.
Jacob tensed. "No your not."
I started crying. "I need him Jake. He's been with me more than my real dad. He is my dad. I love him."
Jacob began to stoke my cheek, leading his path to my jawline. "I know you do. But Jenny needs you. We need you. I need you."
I sorta smiled and pressed my lips against Jacob's. We were kissing for a minute when I pulled away, yawning.
"Sleep" Jacob ordered.
"Are you dumb? I'm not sleeping" I said yawning again.
Jacob rose an eyebrow and I gave in. I fell asleep listening to his heartbeat.

Next morning, I woke up still in Jacob's lap. I was comfortable, but Jacob didn't look he was.
"Jake, wake up" I whispered.
He got up immediatly, rubbing his eyes.
"Yeah?"
"Can we go home? I wanna change."
"Sure, Smiley Miley."
We got up and Jacob grabbed my hand. He led me to his Rabbit and drove to my house.
"I have some of your clothes in my house. You don't have to go to yours" I said softly.
"Okay" Jacob said looking at me. Small tears started to run down my face.
"Everything is going to be fine. George is going to wake up."
I nodded my head while Jacob leaned in to wipe a tear and kiss my cheek. I smiled weakily.
We walked in my house, then to my room. Jacob sat on my bed while I took a shower. It took me longer than usual because my knee was weak and I was also stopping everytime to cry.
I came out in my towel and looked at Jacob. He looked up at me sad because he knew how I felt. I wiped my tears and smiled, letting him know I'm ok. I really didnt feel like looking pretty, so I wore a random black long sleeve shirt and sweatpants. I put on my converse. I also didn't wear make up or do anything to my hair, except dry and brush it.
When I came out, Jacob was still on my bed, with his hands on his head. I walked to him and kissed his head. That made him look up and smile.
"Your turn" I said.
He nodded and went to the bathroom. I sat on my bed crossed legs and patiently waiting for Jacob to finish. I started to remember a memory of me and George.
***Flashback*** ( 4 years ago )
I was sitting on the kitchen table writing in my diary. I really missed everyone back home in La Push. Its been a year but it feels like a lifetime.
Yes, Im still in love with Jacob.
Many guys asked me out, I gave some of them a chance because I thought I won't see Jacob again. So might as well forget him. But I couldn't continue any of the realationships.
I was writing my feelings about Jacob in my diary when George snuck up on me.
"Watcha writing?" George asked as I closed the diary.
"Uhh um N-nothing" I stuttered making him want to read it more.
"Let me see" George said trying to grab the diary.
"No" I said as I locked it. "Haha in your face. Its locked."
George glared at me. "Now your getting it."
I knew that face, so I ran away. George was chasing me. I ran to the backyard and took the hose.
"Don't make me use this Georgie" I said holding the hose.
"You wouldn't dare to splash me."
I raised an eyebrow. "I wouldn't?"
George smirked. "Not a chance."
I then turned the hose on and wet him. He started running towards me and finally getting the hose outta my hand.
Now it was my turn to get wet. We laughing and playing around until Jenny came.
"What are you two doing?"
We looked at eachother. "Nothing."
"You guys have dish duty" Jenny ordered.
I gave George the signal and he hosed Jenny soaking wet.
"GEORGE!!" Jenny yelled.
It soon became a huge water fight. We walked in soaking wet. Jenny went to the bathroom and when I was going to my room, George grabbed my arm.
"What?" I asked.
He grinned. "Don't think I forgot about the diary thing. I'm gonna find out even though I kinda know what it is."
I rolled my eyes. "Good luck with that Georgie. I'm gonna go to bed."
"Okay. I'm gonna go eat."
I laughed and kissed him on the cheek. "I love you."
"Same here kiddo."
***Flashback Over***
By the end of the memory, I was bawling. I needed him. I pulled my knees to my chest and put my head in. I started cry so hard, I didn't even hear anything.
"Mils" I heard Jacob say. I looked up and saw Jake in a towel. My vision was blurry because of my tears.
"I can't see you like this."
"Then don't" I sorta yelled. "Just leave me alone."
He sat down beside me and put me on his lap. "You don't mean that, do you?"
I shook my head lightly. "No, but like seriously, what can I do?"
"You have to be strong. For youself and Jenny. And maybe for me, if you want that is."
I laughed a little. "But whenever I remember something that we did together, makes me realize that he's in the hospital, in coma."
"Thats the part you have to be strong about."
I nodded my head. "I'll try."
He smiled. "I love you."
"Me too and go put on some clothes."
"Why? Too tempting?" He smirked.
I laughed as I got off his lap. "Nope, not really."
"Whatever" He said as he went to find clothes.
"I'm gonna go call Jenny."
"Go ahead."
I grabbed the phone and dialed Sam's number.
Sam picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Sam."
"Oh, hey Mils. Are you okay?"
"Um yeah, I guess. Hows Jenny doing?"
"She's okay too now, but she's going to stay here and not go to the hospital. That's just going to make things worse."
"Oh okay. I'm gonna go back to the hospital with Jake. Tell Jenny not to worry."
"Okay sure. Bye and take care."
"Bye, I will."
I hung up the phone and sighed. Seconds later, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I took Jacob's hand and kissed it, leaving it on my mouth for a while.
"Everythings gonna be okay" Jacob said again.
I got annoyed. "Can you stop saying that?"
He was confused. "Say what?"
"Everythings gonna be ok. How do you know? Your a wolf, not some physic. Okay? Don't tell me something, when you don't know it either."
I turned around and headed outside. When I got to the porch, Jacob grabbed my arm. "What happened? I'm just trying to help. I love you so-"
I cut him off. "So your going to tell me lies?"
Jacob sighed loudly in fustration. "So what? You don't believe George is going to be ok? You want me to say he's not?"
I pushed him off of me. "No. Just don't tell me anything. It's not only you. It's everyone."
"Fine. I won't say anything" Jacob said going to the car. I followed him and he started driving to the hospital.
The drive was really quiet. I was playing with my fingers while Jacob was gripping the steering wheel too hard.
What the hell am I doing? Jacob was just trying to help. He loves me and he can't see me like this. So why the fuck am I acting like an idiot?
"Jacob?" I said looking at him.
He ignored me.
"Jake?"
No answer.
"Look Jacob, I'm really sorry for the way I was acting. It's not your fault, it's mine. George is in coma and I'm sad. I'm taking it all out on you, which is wrong. You love me and want to help. And you are, it's just me acting like a bitch. I want everything to be perfect. I want my life to be perfect. But life doesn't roll like that. It has some of its bad stages and I have to deal with it. I have to deal with it with people who love me and I love them. I can't just push them out cause something isn't going my way. I need you Jake and I love you. I'm really sorry. I won't do that again. If I feel mad, I will keep quiet or just cry it out. I love you Jakey."
Jacob looked at me and smiled. Then he pulled up at this empty lot.
"And Im sorry too" Jacob said turning to me.
I was confused. "For what?"
"For not being with you during your hard times."
"I don't get it. You were here."
"But I wasn't here better."
I laughed and climbed onto his lap. "Well your here now."
I kissed him.
"I sure am" Jacob said once I pulled away.
I leaned in again and started kissing him. I put my hands in his hair and slightly pulled it. He trailed kissing down to my coller bone.
"Jake?"
"Hmm" Jacob said not bothering to stop.
"Lets go to the hospital."
He pulled away from my neck and said "Okay."
I went back to the passenger seat.
We reached the hospital. Me and Jacob walked hand in hand to George's room. There we saw Doctor Trent and George, laying so helplessly. I started to cry again.
"Don't cry" Doctor Trent said. "His heart rate is much better. Don't worry, George is going to be fine."
I grinned and wiped my tears. "Oh My God. Seriously? This is great. Oh my god. Thank you so much Doctor Cross."
He laughed. "No problem and call me Trent."
"Okay, thank you Trent."
The door opened and this young girl walked in.
"Dad, I'm hungry" She whined.
"Honey, I'm working."
"Ughh, Fine."
Trent left the room and there was an awkward silence between us.
"Giants" I said.
The two looked at me like I'm crazy.
"Oh whenever theres an awkward silence, I say a random word to get us to speak."
The girl giggled. Jacob kissed my head.
"I'm Miley Henderson and this is my boyfriend, Jacob Black."
"Hi, um Im Zoe Cross" She said really softly.
"So, Trent is your dad?"
"Uh yeah, so are you related to him?" She asked as she pointed to George.
I stiffened, but calmed down when I remembered hes going to be okay.
"Yeah, He's my gaurdian, mostly dad."
"Oh. I'm sorry for what happened to him."
She talks really softly. Everything has to be dead silence, to hear her properly. Maybe she's shy.
"It's okay" I said. Then I turned to Jacob. "I'm gonna go call Jenny."
I called Jenny and told her what the doctor said, but I told her not to come to the hospital because she can't handle it. I came back and saw that Jacob and Zoe were outside the room, not talking. I mentally laughed at the scene. Jacob was standing there looking at Zoe, so she can talk, but she was just looking at the ground.
"You didn't go to school?" I asked.
"No, I'm starting tomorrow."
"Um can I ask you something?" She asked us.
"Yeah" me and Jacob said.
She opened her mouth, but then closed it. "Never mind."
We shrugged. "Okay."
"So how old are you?" Jacob asked.
"I'm 17 and I'm turning 18, October 31st."
I gasped. "On Halloween? Ohmygosh, that's sooo cool."
"Yeah, it is. How old are you guys?"
"I'm 17, turning 18 soon" Jacob said.
"I'm 16 and I'm turning 17 on October 8."
"Cool, same month."
I nodded and grinned.
"Im gonna call the guys" Jacob said.
I nodded as he kissed my cheek.
"Who's the guys?" She asked. "If you don't mind me asking."
"Obviously I don't. The guys are our close friends."
"Oh, um is all of them guys?"
I laughed at her innocence. "Mostly, yeah. The only girls are, me, Leah, Emily and Jenny."
Zoe nodded. "How long have you known them and Jacob?"
"I know all of them since I was six years old. Me and Jacob just started going out a month and some days ago."
"Aw, that's sweet."
I smiled. "Yeah."
Jacob came back and said "Everyone is going to be at my house, except for Sam, Emily and Jenny."
"Oh, okay. Hey Zoe, wanna come? You said you were hungry, I could cook something."
She smiled. "If thats okay with you Jacob..."
"Of course it is" Jacob said.
Zoe smiled again. "I'm gonna tell my dad."
She got permmission to go. We walked outside and Zoe slipped on grass.
"Ohmygod Zoe. Are you ok?" I asked as I helped her up.
She started laughing. "Yeah. I'm always clumzy."
I laughed along with her. "You remind me of my friend, Bella."
"Oh" was all she said.
We were in the car going to Jacob's house. I sat in the back with Zoe, so she won't feel lonely. What suprised me was that she actually talks a lot if you get to know her.
