(scene opens to Volcano Island where Mason has arrived by himself and heads to the top of the volcano by doing a super jump while nobody is around to see it)
Mason: I wonder if this is the volcano where Oracle said I could find the Cherufe pup creation recipe scroll that was magically transported into this universe since last week?
Male voice: Need a paw?
Mason: (looks back to find Volcano) Good to see you Volcano! I could actually use a hand finding the Cherufe pup creation recipe scroll!
Volcano: Sure! Seems perfect for a fiery pup like myself!
Mason: Thanks buddy! (kicks a nearby rock finding a scroll under it) Okay, that was just sheer luck! (checks the scroll discovering it's the Cherufe pup creation recipe scroll) Yes!
Volcano: (chuckles) I presume you found the Cherufe pup creation recipe scroll?
Mason: Yep! (shows the scroll to Volcano)
Volcano: Hm? Unfortunately, there aren't any Cherufe pups in this world!
Mason: That we know about, there could be some if this scroll was transported into this world!
Volcano: (nods) Fair point!
Mason: Let's get this special scroll mass produced like the rest before something happens to it!
Volcano: Good call!
(both teleport away without anyone even knowing)
(scene changes to the Lookout where Everest arrives and is welcomed by Ryder and the pups)
Pups and Ryder: Everest!
Everest: Hi pups, Ryder!
Skye: It's great to see you!
Everest: You too Skye!
Marshall: It feels like today is gonna be great!
Sound: (footsteps approaching)
Chase: Anyone else hear footsteps?
(a twelve foot tall lizard creature approaches Ryder from behind)
Rubble: (notices) (screams) Real lizard man!
Ryder: Rubble, there's no such thing as lizard men!
Rubble: Tell that to the one behind you, Ryder!
Ryder: (looks back and gasps in shock) A real lizard man!
Volcano: (walks out from behind the creature) Cherufe to be exact and one other thing!
Ryder and Pups: (surprised) Volcano!
Cherufe: (reveals to have the Moby Morpher) Moby Morpher!
(the Cherufe reverts back into Mason who then puts the Moby Morpher back into his satchel)
Mason: Hi Ryder, pups, just making an entrance!
Rubble: Phew! I mean... I knew it was Mason the whole time!
Ryder: Okay, that was pretty convincing Mason!
Marshall: What was with the lizard creature thing?
Mason: Just for fun and on the trail of something! (reveals the Cherufe pup creation recipe scroll) Volcano and I found this! A friend told me it was transported into this universe through unknown means and we found it by luck
Volcano: He found it under the first rock he kicked!
Mason: I was bored when I did it!
Everest: Whoa! This certainly is an interesting scroll!
Marshall: Agreed!
Mason: Well, Volcano and I are off to find Cherufe pups!
Volcano: Luckily we have ideas of where to find them!
Chase: Where would that be?
Volcano: (chuckles) Volcanoes!
Pups: What!?
Mason: Chances are they might live in volcanoes!
Chase: I don't think anyone would live in a volcano!
Mason: Well later pups!
(Mason departs with Volcano following him)
Ryder: Good luck finding a possible new breed of magic pup Mason!
Mason's voice: Thanks Ryder!
(scene changes to Rumbletop Island where Cap'n Turbot and Francois are planning to film the Rumbletop tiger again)
Francois: So good to once more be the great tiger tamer!
Cap'n Turbot: I remember you said differently!
Francois: (scoffs) I am still the great tiger tamer!
Sound: (growling)
Cap'n Turbot and Francois: (shocked) What was that!?
(a muscular lizard-like pup scurries past the twosome)
Cap'n Turbot and Francois: (screams) What was that!?
Francois: (has an idea) Wait! What if that is a new species of creature! I need to be the first to film it!
Cap'n Turbot: Not if I film it first!
(Cap'n Turbot and Francois race off planning to film the unknown creature that scurried past them as the scene changes to Mason and Volcano walking right out of the water and onto this island)
Mason: Rumbletop Island, we should try here first to find possible Cherufe pups! (looks over finding the Flounder) Hopefully the two Turbots don't annoy any possible Cherufe pups!
Volcano: Easier said than done!
Mason: (nods)
Sound: (snarling)
(Mason and Volcano looks over finding a very beefy male lizard-like pup)
Mason: I think one found us!
Volcano: Quite a muscular breed!
Male Cherufe pup: (snarls)
Volcano: Do you speak human English!
Male Cherufe pup: (snarls) Stay away poachers! (leaps at Mason who ducks to dodge)
Volcano: Need a hand Mason?
Male Cherufe pup: (uses its tail like a whip but Mason dodges each time) (annoyed growl)
Mason: We're not poachers!
Male Cherufe pup: (tackles and pins Mason against the ground) You have no chance against my super heated skin!
Mason: I knew it! You do live in volcanoes!
Male Cherufe pup: (slightly confused) Yes? Why are you not screaming in pain from my super heated skin? It should be burning you on contact?
Mason: (chuckles) Elemental brawlers can endure it all including beyond extreme temperatures! (calmly) Also I can tell your eyes and heart that you're just a father who is doing his hardest to ensure the protection of his family!
Male Cherufe pup: (surprised) Wait, so you're not poachers?
Mason: No, we're friendly!
Male Cherufe pup: (embarrassed) My mistake! Ever since my wife, daughter, and I got magically transported to this world through unknown forces while the rest of our world regretfully suffered tragic destruction!
Mason: (gently pets the Male Cherufe pup) Lost and unsure about a new world?
Male Cherufe pup: (nods)
Mason: I'm just guessing your skill set which I already know has heat resistance, super heated skin, and a whip-like tail also might include being skilled at climbing and swimming through lava like it's water?
Male Cherufe pup: Exactly! I'm Heat the Cherufe pup!
Mason: I'm Mason!
Volcano: I'm Volcano, a genie pup!
Heat: Sorry about the mix up! We kinda had to deal with Cherufe pup hunting poachers too! And our super heated skin also keeps the tigers away from us when we're outside the volcano!
Mason: It's all good, it's understandable to be cautious around those you don't know!
Heat: But, it also feels kinda nice to be pet by someone who's nice!
Mason: I'm guessing with the super heated skin, nobody can pet you except each other?
Heat: (nods) But it really does feel nice to be pet by a person!
Mason: You know, I have some friends who can adjust your biology so you can be touched or other ways?
Heat: Hm? Maybe we could at least have a try! But I have to locate my family first!
Mason: (nods) May we have permission to meet them?
Heat: Well... you both are friendly so I see no trouble letting you meet my wife and our daughter!
Mason: Thank you Heat!
(the trio walk off as the scene changes to Cap'n Turbot and Francois who are still trying to film the creature)
Francois: I shall be the one to capture the creature on film first!
Cap'n Turbot: Not if I capture the creature on film first!
(a young female Cherufe pup approaches a napping older female Cherufe pup)
Young Female Cherufe pup: Mom!
Older Female Cherufe pup: (yawns) Is something wrong Smolder?
Smolder: Two humans said something about capture on something called film?
Older Female Cherufe pup: So long as my name is Sear, those poachers won't land a hand on my baby girl!
Smolder: Nobody can touch us with us due to our super heated skin?
Sear: (coughs) That too! (gets up) Come on Smolder, let's hunt the hunters! Or at the least chase them away!
Smolder: Okay mommy! Will dad be okay?
Sear: (nods) Your father is one of the toughest Cherufe pups I know! It'd take several poachers to bring him down or stop him from coming back to us, he's a loving father and husband!
Smolder: (nods) Okay mommy!
(both scurry off as the scene changes to Heat, Mason, and Volcano arriving)
Heat: Dear? (looks around) Sear where are you my love and our daughter Smolder?
Mason: There are two other humans on the island, chances are they might wanna film your family!
Heat: Film?
Mason: It's similar to taking photos but with sound!
Heat: Hm? (shrugs) Mind telling me more later?
Mason: Sure! Say if you can swim in lava, could you do the same with water?
Heat: Sure! But we still need to breathe air and we'd be making a lot of steam!
Mason: Fair enough!
Heat: Glad we also know how to track down possible prey or vegetation! (sniffs the ground while leading the way)
(scene changes to later where Cap'n Turbot and Francois are bickering about filming the creature they say)
Francois: It is your fault we lost the creature!
Cap'n Turbot: My fault! It's your fault we lost that one of a kind creature!
Francois: My fault! Oh no it's not! You are to blame for losing track of the special animal!
Sound: (growling)
Cap'n Turbot and Francois: How dare you growl at me!
Sound: (growling)
Cap'n Turbot and Francois: (unsure) Wait, was that you?
(Sear and Smolder crawl out of the bushes growling at the twosome)
Francois: I have found two of the creatures!
Cap'n Turbot: (slightly offended) You found them? We found them!
Sear: (annoyed expression) (raises her tail before using it to whip the ground near the twosome)
Cap'n Turbot and Francois: (screams) Gah!
Sear: (growls) Back poachers!
Cap'n Turbot and Francois: Wait, we're not poachers!
Sear: (snarls) Back! (keeps using her tail like a whip)
Francois: (shouts) Will you stop that!
Sear: (growls)
Francois: (startled) Yipe!
Cap'n Turbot: We need the Paw Patrol!
Francois: Hurry! They look like they might wanna eat us!
Cap'n Turbot: (gets his phone out and calls)
(scene flips to the Lookout where the pups including Everest are having fun playing fetch)
Everest: I wonder how Mason and Volcano are doing with those new magic pups?
Chase: I doubt he'd find something that lives in a volcano!
Marshall: You never know Chase, maybe they do!
Chase: (shrugs) I'm still not sure of it!
(Pup-pad rings)
Ryder: Hold on pups, pause game! (answers Pup-pad) Hello? Cap'n Turbot, Francois, is everything okay?
Cap'n Turbot: Ryder! We need help! We've been cornered by unknown creatures! (shows Ryder both Cherufe pups)
Ryder: Whoa! They look like huskies mixed with lizards!
Sear: I heard that!
Ryder: Sorry!
Sear: (shrugs) Partly true!
Francois: (screams) Save us! We don't wanna be the next meal of these creatures!
Ryder: Don't worry Cap'n Turbot and Francois, no animal is too scary, no pup is too small! (to pups) Paw Patrol, to the Air Patroller!
(scene splits to show Ryder, Chase, Everest, and Zuma)
Pups: Ryder needs us!
(section with Everest enlarges revealing her to be near Marshall)
Everest: Let's go!
Marshall: Agreed!
(both pups leap forward not noticing a pile of tennis balls in front of them)
Everest and Marshall: (slips on the tennis balls) (surprised) Whoa!
(scene switches to the other pups in the Air Patroller)
Chase: Where's Marshall?
Skye: And Everest?
Everest and Marshall's voice: Lookout!
(the group looks over seeing the twosome rolling toward him along with a lot of tennis balls)
Pups: Uh oh!
(the twosome crash while the tennis balls bounce out of the Air Patroller while Everest and Marshall are on top of their friends)
Marshall: Sorry pups but we were really...
Everest: ...On a roll!
Pups: (chuckles) Good one you guys!
(Air Patrolller gear up sequence)
(pups gather up front in their flight suits)
Chase: Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder sir!
Ryder: Good to hear pup! (to Robo-Dog) Robo-Dog, pick up Skye's helicopter and go to Rumbletop Island!
Robo-Dog: (barks and doges just that)
(Skye's pup house being picked up by Air Patroller sequence)
(the group flies off)
Pups: Pups, Cap'n Turbot and Francois need our help on Rumbletop Island! (brings up a visual image) Two lizard-like pups have cornered them and they need our help to save them!
Everest: Ryder, do you think those might be Cherufe pups like what Mason is looking for?
Ryder: (unsure) Maybe? But we still have to save them from those unknown pups!
Marshall: Maybe it's just a misunderstanding?
Ryder: Maybe? For this mission I need Skye! I need you to use your helicopter to airlift Cap'n Turbot and Francois to safety!
Skye: This pup's gotta fly!
Ryder: Chase I need you to help find them!
Chase: Chase is on the case!
Ryder: The rest of you pups can help search too!
Pups: We're on it!
Ryder: Paw Patrol is on a roll!
Pups: (cheers and howls)
(Air Patroller Chase and Skye deployment sequence)
(Skye in Air Rescue gear entering her helicopter sequence)
(the group flies off to Rumbletop Island as the scene changes to show Mason, Volcano, and Heat)
Heat: (still tracking the scent of his wife and daughter) I wonder where they both went?
Mason: We'll find them!
(the Air Patroller and pups fly overhead)
Mason: (looks up) Looks like the Air Patroller! (has an idea) I might have a possible idea of how to find them!
Heat: What is this Air Patroller?
Mason: Let's walk and talk!
(the group goes in the direction the pups are heading)
(scene changes to Sear and Smolder still cornering Cap'n Turbot and Francois)
Cap'n Turbot: I hope the Paw Patrol gets here soon!
Francois: Agreed Horatio!
Marshall's voice: I found them Ryder!
(Marshall lands between them)
Cap'n Turbot and Francois: Marshall!
Marshall Hi guys!
Francois: Save us!
Marshall: I'll use my water cannons! (barks) Water cannons!
(Marshall's water cannons fire water which lands on the Cherufe pups which results in the water evaporating into steam)
Marshall: Whoa! Where'd that steam come from?
Cap'n Turbot: Very interesting!
Skye: (arrives in her helicopter) I can only airlift one of you at a time!
(both Cherufe pup emerge from the steam)
Skye: (notices them) Uh oh! I'd better hurry! (barks) Harness!
(Skye's helicopter lowers its harness)
Skye: You all better hurry! Also where'd that steam come from?
Marshall: I used my water cannons and I think it turned into steam!
Francois: Please hurry Skye!
(Skye airlifts Francois away from the Cherufe pups while Marshall stays behind to protect Cap'n Turbot)
Marshall: Why do you wanna hurt these two?
Sear: Back poacher! (slams her tail against the ground) (snarls)
Marshall: (startled) Yipe! (jumps back)
Cap'n Turbot: She sure seems very mean!
Marshall: I think she's just defending herself and that little one, they must think you're hunting them!
Cap'n Turbot: (scared) We were only trying to track and film them, not hurt them!
Sear: (growls) Back poacher!
Marshall: (confused) Poacher?
Smolder: Back off hunter and hunting pup!
Marshall: Wait! I'm a rescue pup!
Sear and Smolder: (pauses) (confused) Rescue pup?
Heat's voice: There you are!
Cap'n Turbot: (notices Heat is slightly bigger than Sear) Yikes! He's bigger than these two!
(Mason and Volcano reveal themselves to be right behind Heat)
Mason: Hi guys!
Marshall: (surprised) Mason!?
Mason: Yep! Looks like we got lucky and the Cherufe pup found us! With the exception of a misunderstanding!
Heat: Sear, Smolder, that human isn't a hunter! Just someone who takes pictures!
Sear and Smolder: (surprised) Oh!
Sear: (embarrassed) (to Cap'n Turbot) Sorry about assuming you were a hunter?
Cap'n Turbot: How'd you assume that!
Smolder: The capture part!
Cap'n Turbot: Ooh! Capture on film, do you pups know what film is?
Cherufe pups: (shakes heads) Not really!
(scene changes to the beach with everyone including the Cherufe pups)
Francois: We're sorry saying the part about capturing!
Sear: Our fault for misunderstanding! Please accept our apologies!
Francois: Aww, you pups are so nice! (pets Sear) (eyes widen) (screams in pain) Hot, hot, hot! (dunks his hand into the water) (sighs in relief) Ahh, so much better!
Everest: What happened?
Sear: He didn't give us a chance to warn him about our super heated skin and fur!
Pups: (steps back)
Marshall: Actually, that does explain the steam that occurred when I used my water cannon!
Chase: Just so I know, where do you live?
Sear: We like volcanoes and hot lava! Plus we can swim in the stuff like it's water!
Everest: Cool! Or maybe I should say hot?
Sear and Smolder: (giggles)
Francois: Now that my hand has been cooled off, I can take a photo with these Cherufe pup!
Sear: Handshake?
Francois: Sure! (hands hands Sear's paw) (eyes widen) (screams in pain as he lets go of her paw) It burns! (goes back into the water)
Cap'n Turbot: My cousin walked into that one!
Ryder: Whenever you're cornered by a misunderstanding Cherufe pup, just yelp for help!
Cap'n Turbot: Will do Ryder!
Skye: Can you please tell us your names?
Heat: I'm Heat
Sear: Sear!
Smolder: I'm Smolder! (nuzzles her parents) This is mom and dad!
Pups: (in awe) How sweet!
Ryder: Too bad we can't pet you without getting burned?
Mason: My associates can help with that!
(scene changes to later when the three Cherufe pups are in Mason's archipelago universe with him and Volcano)
Smolder: This place looks even better!
Sear: Yeah!
Heat: Not bad!
Mason: You're welcome to stay here pups!
Sear: (touched) Thank you Mason! But what about us super heated skin?
Mason: A simple fix! (uses his powers on the trio to empower them) There we go! Your bodies will generate heat like normal pups any time you'd like! Also now you can use the super heated skin for defense or after a swim in hot lava and magma!
Heat: We should have someone test it?
Mason: Sure! (whistles) I need three pretzel men from Dave the Barbarian!
(a trio of pretzel men walk over)
Pretzel men: (happily) Hi there! (pets the Cherufe pup) Ooh! So soft and it's like a combo of fur and scales! Plus it doesn't burn!
Heat: Thanks!
Mason: Glad they could help! (looks around)
Sound: (chewing and gulping)
Mason: (looks back finding the pretzel men have been eaten by the Cherufe pup)
Sear: (blushes) We couldn't resist, they looked so yummy!
Mason: (chuckles) All good! I kinda expected that! (pets the trio) They were right, you three don't feel like the inside of a volcano since I powered you up!
Sear: (smiles) I think we might like it here!
Mason: We'd be honored if you'd like to stay here!
Heat: (smiles) I think we'd really like that!
Smolder: (notices Mirage and her cousins playing) Ooh!
Mason: And able to make new friends with magic pups!
Heat: In all honesty, we're not all that magic?
(Wallop, Barb, and Pin the minotaur pups walk over)
Wallop: No problem there! We're not all that magical either, but we're happily welcomed
(Mirage and her mom Melody walk over)
Melody: Plenty of unique and beastly pups are welcomed here!
Mirage: Which now includes Cherufe pups!
Sear: (touched) Thank you!
Mirage: (hugs Smolder) Friends!
Smolder: (smiles and embraces Mirage's hug) (happily) Friends!
Heat: (chuckles) How sweet!
Melody: Just let us know if you need a lift to other worlds?
Heat: Other worlds?
Mason: Me and Volcano found a scroll for creating Cherufe pups!
Heat: Cool!
(Mason shows the scroll)
Heat: Hm? Sounds just right! We've got fur that's a combination of fur and scales which also help with our heat resistance!
Mason: Very interested? Do you also have enhanced strength?
Heat: (chuckles) Forgot to mention we do!
Mason: Here you'll have some strong allies!
Wallop: And everyone looks out for each other under the care of the elemental brawlers!
Heat: (smiles) That sounds really nice!
(the magic pups walk off together to learn more about each other as a fire-shaped iris-out occurs before slowly going to black)
Mirage's voice: Very creative using a fire-shaped iris-out Mason!
Mason's voice: Thanks Mirage! I thought it'd be a nice choice with the Cherufe pups joining the family!
Mirage's voice: (giggles) Very creative Mason!
