Y/n POV
'What a great day to be chased around by Kraang bots' I thought to myself sarcastically
"Keep moving. Don't let them surround you. Failure is not an option." Leo stated.
"Technically, failure is always an option." Donnie stated.
"You know what else is an option? Slapping you!" Raph shouted.
"Not the time Raph, even though I agree with you and Leo!" I shouted.
"Mikey! On the right!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Your right or my right?" Mikey asked.
Mikey dodge the lasers. Donnie tries to whack it but it won't budge.
"Are you kidding me? I hate this thing!" Donnie shouted.
The Kraang droid turns only to get stabbed in the head by Raph.
"Nice work. When we're done here, there's a marching band that needs a majorette." Raph stated.
More lasers fly past them. Leo leaped in the air and sliced a Kraang as Raph ran up to a pipe and jumped onto the Krang's shoulders, stabbing it with his sais. The robot collapses and the alien escapes.
"Kraang, the present is being a positive time to be the testing of the energy cannon." A bot said.
The aliens opened the door and emerging from the dark was a cannon.
"Everyone, stand your ground!" Leo shouted.
The machine started to power up.
"On second thought, run!" Leo exclaimed.
The cannon started to fire as everyone ran away. Donnie almost got hit by the blast until the top of his staff was destroyed, leaving a smoking remainder.
"Oh, come on!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Dude, your weapon just exploded!" Mikey exclaimed.
"How am I supposed to fight advanced alien technology with a stupid stick?!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Donnie, here use one of my kunai's, just imagine it's the sword end of your staff." I stated, giving Donnie one of my kunai's that was recently sharpened.
"Thanks, sis." Donnie said.
"No problem, big bro. I've always got your back." I said.
Then I realized that we were surrounded.
"Kraang, destroy those who call themselves the turtles and the girl when that which is the signal is the signal that is given by me!" Kraang exclaimed.
Leo used a ninja star into a pipe, which hit the button to lift, pushing the cannon into the wall and crashing into the Kraang droids. They were all stuck before the turtles got out using the window.
"Dumb luck." Raph muttered.
"Wasn't luck, my friend. And dumb had nothing to do with it." Leo stated.
Donnie is trying to pull a Krang droid outside.
"Hey. Give me a hand with this." Donnie said.
"A hand with what?" I asked.
Later, the boys and I are dragging the droid.
"We're carrying this thing because why?" Raph asked.
"Don't you want to understand how these things work?" Donnie asked.
"I know how they work. You hit 'em till the brainy toy surprise pops out." Raph said.
"That's your problem, Raph. You never think things through." Donnie stated.
Donnie tossed the dead Kraang droid to the manhole but it's stuck on its side.
"Was that supposed to fit?" Raph asked.
Raph looks at Donnie and Donnie tries to kick the body into the manhole but it is still stuck.
We got back to the lair and Donnie and April were in his lab, while the rest of us were in the living room.
Splinter goes into Donnie's lab with a new bo staff for Donnie and we all follow.
"Look, Spike. Donnie got another stick to break." Raph said, looking at Spike.
"With all due respect, sensei, I can't keep fighting alien technology with a six foot staff. I was hoping to upgrade my weapon." Donnie stated.
"Mmm. A 7-foot staff. Interesting." Father said.
"No, I meant using modern technology." Donnie said.
"Aah, a solar-powered staff." Father said and I can tell that he was joking.
"I'm serious, sensei." Donnie said, getting a little annoyed.
"I know. And yes, you may upgrade your weapon." Father said.
"That's totally unfair! You can't just- Wait, did you say yes?" Donnie asked.
"Ninjas have improved their arsenal for centuries. We are masters of adaptation." Father stated.
"That is great! 'Cause with this technology, I will be invincible! What should I make? Electric sais? Multi-shot shuriken? Plasma swords! I just gave myself goosebumps. You wanna feel? Eh?" Donnie asked.
"Pass." April said.
"But remember, technology is a means, not an end. It is you who must prevail in battle, not your weapon. Combat is not a video game." Father stated.
"That's it! I'll turn combat into a video game! Thanks, sensei." Donnie said, ecstatic.
Donnie was working in his lab, while, me, Leo and Raph trained in the dojo.
Then April came into the dojo and she looked happy.
"Hey guys! Check out this post I got." April said.
"Hang on, April, I just have to destroy Lame-onardo." Raph said and I just rolled my eyes.
Raph easily wins and then we all turn to April.
"So what's up?" I asked.
"I set up a message board to collect unusual sightings around New York. People send in pics, videos. I also get some stuff that may help us track the Kraang and find my Dad. Like this video of a gas explosion." April explained.
April shows us a video shows a Krang emerging from the smoke.
"A Kraang droid." Leo said.
"Where?" Mikey asked as he came in.
"We'll check it out tonight." I stated.
"Why not now?" April asked.
"Because it's daytime. We can't let anyone see us." I stated.
"Well, I can." April stated.
"April, think about this. It could be dangerous." Leo stated.
"You know what else could be dangerous? Standing between me and my father." April stated.
"Okay." Leo said, holding his hands up in surrender.
April went to find her dad and my, Leo, Raph and Mikey are the living room. Leo was watching Space Heroes and I was playing my guitar.
Then some thunderous metal noises clang. Me, Leo, Raph and Mikey turn to see a robotic android that looks like a turtle.
"Take me to your leader!" The robot stated.
"Leo, it's for you." Mikey and I stated in unison.
"What is this thing?" Leo asked.
"Gentlemen and Raphael and Y/n, this is the future of ninjutsu." Donnie stated.
"I always thought the future of ninjutsu would be taller." Raph stated.
"Aw, he's so cute." Mikey stated.
Mikey starts to bend down and scratches the robot's chin. The robot, activates many weapons which causes Mikey to scream and fall over.
"He doesn't like being tickled." Donnie stated.
"Isn't it cool? I reverse-engineered it from the Kraang-droid." Donnie asked.
"Okay. Why?" Leo and I asked in unison.
"So the drone can handle the dangerous stuff while we stay out of harm's way." Donnie stated.
"Oh, I get it. This is for wimps too afraid to fight." Raph stated.
"No, it's for wimps too smart to fight I mean-" Donnie said, before being cut off by Mikey.
"Ooh! Let's call him Metalhead. Why, you ask? Because it's got a head and it's made of-" Mikey exclaimed.
"We get it." Leo stated.
"I don't need a toaster to fight my battles for me." Raph stated.
"This is ridiculous, Donnie. It takes the whole point out of being a ninja." Leo stated.
"I have to agree with Leo and Raph on this one, Donnie. I mean, have you seen me fighting? I don't need a robot or anyone else for that matter fighting my battles." I stated.
"It's exactly the point of being a ninja we adapt. Now watch this. Attack the drone. Give it all you've got." Donnie stated.
"You sure? I don't want to break your toy." Leo said.
"I do!" Raph exclaimed.
Donnie uses the controls as Metalhead activates. I decided to not attack but Raph charges at it. Then the robot managed to block the attack and threw him. Leo and Mikey used their weapons but Metalhead grabbed the weapons and knocked them. Leo crashes onto Raph while Metalhead punches Mikey. They landed in a heap.
"I kicked your shells! And I didn't even have to use the laser cannon! Face it, guys, with this thing I'm invincible!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Sensei, I was wondering if I could take Metalhead for a spin tonight." Donnie stated to Father.
"You may." Father stated.
"That's totally unfair! You can't just wait, what?" Donnie asked.
"You have created this new weapon. We must see how well it works." Father stated.
"Well, that's great. Thank you, sensei." Donnie said.
"But it is a test only. Do not take it into combat." Father stated.
"No problem, sensei." Donnie stated.
"You're taking it into combat, aren't you?" I asked.
"Totally!" Donnie exclaimed, giggling.
On a rooftop, Metalhead had joined me, Leo, Raph and Mikey.
"Should we double back? I think there's a car alarm he didn't set off." Leo stated.
"I kinda like it. It goes nicely with all the sirens and cries for help." Raph stated.
Donnie is in the lair, holding a console to control Metalhead.
"Oh, come on. You guys are just jealous 'cause you're out there in the cold and I'm here eating Mikey's last slice of pizza." Donnie said.
"Hey!...Ow!" Mikey exclaimed as he tried to punch Metalhead.
"Hello?" I hear April's voice ask.
"Hey, guys, quiet. Somebody's coming." Leo stated.
Leo, Raph and Mikey get down and Metalhead lowered down, while I stood there, looking at them like they were idiots.
"Guys, it's April." I stated.
"April!" Leo exclaimed as we all jump down from the roof to land next to her.
"Guys! I was just looking for you." April stated.
Metalhead crashed into a dumpster and came out. Leo and I facepalmed.
"Still, it's stealthier than the real Donatello." Raph stated.
"What the heck is that?" April asked.
"It's Donnie's latest 'brilliant' creation Metalhead." Leo stated.
"Catchy name, huh? My idea." Mikey said.
Donnie's voice came, causing us to cover our ears.
"Oh, sorry, April. I'm still getting used to the controls. Whoops. Megaphone button got stuck." Donnie stated.
"Guys, we gotta do something. The Kraang are gonna poison the city's water supply with mutagen!" April exclaimed.
"The whole city will become a disaster area!" Leo exclaimed.
"There'll be mutants everywhere!" Donnie and I exclaimed.
"Wow. Think of all the friends we can make...Excuse me for being a 'glass-half-full' kinda guy." Mikey said as we stared at him.
"Let's go!" Leo exclaimed.
"Yeah! The Kraang don't stand a chance! What?" Donnie exclaimed.
"Donnie, I need you to hang back. Metalhead is just too clumsy. It'll get in our way." Leo stated.
"Clumsy?" Donnie asked.
Metalhead causes a bunch of garbage cans to fall.
"I did that on purpose to emphasize my point." Donnie stated.
"You're not coming, Donnie." Leo stated as we left.
Later, me, Leo, Raph and Mikey investigate while Metalhead and April watch on the rooftop. Metalhead turned his head to April.
"So you like heavy metal?" Donnie asked.
At the warehouse, me and my brothers look down from the ceiling and watch the Kraang transporting mutagen.
"Looks like a Kraang picnic down there." Leo stated.
"Ready to bash some bots?" I asked.
"Destroy some droids?" Raph asked.
"Clean some closets? Uh, I meant to say crush some Kraang?" Mikey asked.
Leo jumped forward and signaled them to attack.
"Booyakasha!" Mikey exclaimed.
Mikey started punching the Krang before being dragged away. They hid from behind a pillar and spotted the Krang doing something bad. One droid fell and motions the others. The aliens noticed and started to fire their blasters at them.
Me and my brothers take cover behind the crates.
"We're trapped!" Leo and I exclaimed in unison.
"Or maybe, they're the ones who are trapped! Hmm? No, it's us." Mikey stated.
Metalhead crashes through the ceiling and crashes into the Krang. Both of Metalhead's arms looked splayed.
"What are you doing? What is wrong with your arms?" I asked.
"My hands aren't on my hips?" Donnie asked.
"No." Leo and I stated in unison.
"Sorry. Forgot to press B." Donnie said.
The Kraang surrounded and started to attack but it had no effect on the robot.
"Now it's my turn! Eat hot laser!" Donnie exclaimed.
Metalhead started shooting lasers destroying the Kraang.
"You want some of this? Whoo! Yeah, baby!" Donnie exclaimed, laughing like a maniac.
Donnie fires his fists at the Kraang droids.
"Hey, Raph, how does it feel to be shown up by a toaster?" Donnie asked.
"Burn!" Mikey said.
"Yeah, I thought that was a good one." Donnie stated.
"No! Burn!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Oh. Right." Donnie said.
Metalhead turned and used a flamethrower on the Kraang.
"That thing which does violence at Kraang used to do violence for Kraang!" Kraang stated.
The Krang comes out of his suit. Metalhead stopped the flames as lasers fired us. We all duck out of the way.
"Aah! Dude!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Oops! Sorry, Mikey." Donnie said.
"Donnie, watch the friendly fire." I stated.
"Here's some for you! And some for you! And, oh, yeah, I saved a little for you too! How'd that taste?" Donnie asked.
Some of the lasers hit the bottles causing an explosion that knocked Metalhead into a pillar. In the process, the antenna broke off.
The krang gets on top of Metalhead and starts to control it.
"The ones that which are called turtles and the girl will now be called turtles and the girl that are destroyed!" Metalhead stated.
"Whew! I was really afraid at the beginning of the sentence, but then I sort of just lost interest towards Ok. I'm afraid again." Mikey said and screamed.
We are trying to fight Metalhead, but we aren't getting very far.
"Give him everything you've got. He's gotta have a weak spot." Leo said.
"This always works!...Ow! Well, usually." Mikey stated as he tried to kick Metalhead, but hurt himself instead.
Metalhead punches him onto the ground and knocks me, Raph and Leo to the ground.
"Now Kraang will destroy you. Which one wants to be first to be destroyed by Kraang?" Metalhead asked.
"Me!" Donnie called out.
"Donnie! Bangin' entrance, dude!" Mikey exclaimed.
"You guys deal with the droids. I'll handle Metalhead." Donnie said.
"It is the maker of the tech which was the tech that was of the Kraang." Metalhead stated.
"Come on, gimme your best Gaah!" Donnie exclaimed.
Donnie didn't finish as Metalhead used his rocket fist. Donnie hits it as Metalhead gets hit by his own fist. The robot starts to fire lasers and Donnie's bo gets broken again.
"Not again." Donnie groaned.
Metalhead fires another rocket fist but it explodes when it lands. Donnie dodged again.
"That might work. Hey, Kraang! The one who is called your mother wears the boots that are made for combat!" Donnie exclaimed.
"The comment that is made by you shows ignorance of Kraang! The ones known by you as mothers..." Metalhead stated.
"Just come get me!" Donnie exclaimed.
Donnie runs past the lasers and leaped over them, landing behind Metalhead and shields himself using his staff as a pillar crashes down. He is okay and his staff was stabbed right through Metalhead's chest.
"Booyakasha!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Sounds weird when he says it." I stated.
"Sounds weird when Mikey says it." Raph stated.
"That which is the revenge will be had on those who are call themselves the turtles." Metalhead stated.
Metalhead deactivates, and the small Krang leaves.
"Nice job, bro!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Way to go, Donnie." Leo and I said in unison.
"Yeah, not bad. Except for that part where you built the thing in the first place. And the part where it broke. And the part where it tried to kill us. And the part-" Raph said.
"Ok, I get it." Donnie stated.
We get back to the lair.
"Oh, so close to my high score. Oh!" Leo exclaimed as he played his game.
"What troubles you, Donatello?" Father asked.
"This was all my fault, sensei." Donnie stated.
"You are responsible, yes." Father said.
"Yeah." Donnie said.
"Responsible for destroying the mutagen. Responsible for saving the people of this city. Responsible for defeating advanced technology using only ingenuity, bravery, and a stick." Father stated.
"Thanks, sensei. Maybe you're right." Donnie stated.
"I am." Father stated.
"I guess with proper training, there's nothing better than a wooden stick. Except a laser guided, missile-launching wooden stick." Donnie stated.
Donnie's staff started to activate the missiles while Leo, Raph, Mikey and Father took notice.
"It's not supposed to do that! Run!" Donnie exclaimed and we all screamed and ran.
