I stared at the ceiling from the couch, my eyes heavy and my vision blurry. Gosh, my back is killing me. Did I fall asleep on the couch? Again? The sound of sizzling oil on a pan slowly pulled me out of my trance. My eyes adjusted to the light and my first—and favourite—view was Niki in the kitchen, lifting his shirt to clean the flour off of his face. You absolute God given gift.
With much effort applied, I managed to sit up and stare at him shamelessly. So very shamelessly. Due to his lack of observation, he didn't seem to notice that I was awake at all. I wiped my face with my hands, put my hair in a bun, and got up on my feet. Ugh, my back, my neck, my everything. I need to start sleeping in my own bed.
"You didn't think that maybe it would be a good idea to wake me up or carry me off the couch to our room?" Niki looked and me as I made my way to him, grinning to himself. "Can't miss an opportunity to have the bed for myself." I rolled my eyes, and moved behind his figure to back-hug me. "Mmm, I like that." He put his big hand over the two that clutched around his waist, humming softly.
"I'm making you pancakes, if that helps your situation." "What situation?" He turned around to reach for the oil on the other counter, pinning me against it automatically. "I bet your muscles are sore." I nodded and pouted. "Maybe..." he grabbed the oil and put it in the pantry, turned off the stove, and grabbed some maple syrup. "I can massage you."
"Care for a pancake?" I nodded. "Always." He picked me up off my butt and placed me on the counter. "I present to you, my mom's famous pancakes." He shoved a forkful in my mouth. Damn, this shit tastes...horrendous. I swallowed quickly, signalling for water, milk, syrup, anything at that point.
After taking a large swig of water, Niki turned to me, disappointed. "That bad, huh?" "Baby, you put so much salt. You must have mistaken it for sugar." I hopped off the counter, wincing at my back. Am I old or something? Or do I really sleep like a spineless snake? "A massage maybe? Might help you."
"Oh, I'm oka-" he lifted me up again, and carried me upstairs. "Niki~" He (some-what) aggressively pushed me down onto the bed. He got onto of me and started kissing my neck playfully. "Baby, what are you doing~?" "Forgot to give you your morning kisses." He gently turned me around and lifted up my shirt, massaging and kissing down my back.
"Mmm, I should sleep on the couch more often." His chuckled against my bare skin and kissed it again. "I don't mind doing this anytime, baby." He turned me around and made immediate eye contact with my "underclothes". I pulled down my shirt and blushed. "Pervert."
He pulled my shirt down even more, embarrassed as well. "Sorry, love." He wrapped his hands around me, pulling me in for kisses. His lips are always so...soft. So, so, so soft. "Kiss me again." And he did. Again. And again. And again, again, again, until it turned into one long make-out session.
