dahlia was on tiktok as i laid on top of her tired from previous activities. she held my head gently scratching the back.
"hey foundfamily i know it's been a couple days since our last post but we have been settling in a new arrival you will meet her very soon. some of you may even be familiar with the girl-"
i pushed myself up more to look at her phone after recognising the voice. dahlia tilted it towards me when she noticed.
"fucks sake, they're vloggers" i groaned throwing my head back. i knew there would be a catch. there always is.
"your fosters?" dahlia asked and i nodded laying back down on her shoulder to watch tik tok with her.
"it's like your obsessed with me" i said as i watched her like and repost edits of me. she favourited one and i noticed she had an entire folder dedicated to me.
there was another one calling dahlia out for reposting me talking about how if we're not dating she's (the girl in the video) has given up on love.
dahls soon got bored of tik tok and turned her attention fully to me. she just stared at me for a while and when i looked back at her confused her lips curled into a smirk and she kissed my forehead.
"do you wanna go to the beach?" she asked me as it was around 5pm now and sun would be setting.
"it's gonna be freezing" i told her getting up to grab a pair of her swimmers anyway.
"that's the fun part" dahlia smiled grabbing some of hers aswell.
we got changed but i instantly put on long pants and a shirt on after.
we grabbed towels and our phones before leaving her bedroom.
"y/n and i are going out we will be back before tea!" she shouted out hearing an okay come from the lounge room.
dahlia had gotten her licence whilst i was in new zealand but i still haven't been in a car with her.
"are you sure your a good driver" i said a bit panicky as she reversed her dads ute out of the driveway.
"do you trust me"
"yes"
"then we'll be fine" she smiled at me passing me her phone for music. recently she's gotten into noah khan which then swayed me to listen to his music.
in the middle of the short car ride i got a text from lizzie.

i thanked her for telling me and watched the road. dahlia was a pretty safe driver. apart from occasionally speeding a little when no other cars were around.
we got to the beach which was almost empty.
"i hâte you for this" i said jumping up and down in the spot as the cold night breeze hit my shoulders.
"you'll be alright" she said grabbing my hand as we put our stuff down and went to the water.
it was surprisingly warmer than i thought. dahlia and i swam out ducking under waves until we were around chest deep.
the sun was down and the sunset was at its peak. dahlia pulled me into her as i hugged around her waist resting my head on her shoulder.
"i love you dahls"
"i love you too cariño" she whispered into the night. her wet hair curled and stuck to her neck as she flashed me her beautiful smile.
dahlia held onto my legs as i wrapped them around her waist and i realised i could spend the rest of my life with this girl.
i tucked some of her hair behind her ear as i held onto her neck leaning in.
she kissed me softly before we pulled away and rested our foreheads together.
waves pushed us around a little but dahlia had a strong footing. a couple minutes the cold caught up to me.
"race ya back" i pushed off her and made a beeline for the shore. she was quickly behind me grabbing my leg to pull me back. she was now beating me as i fought my hardest to get infront of her. once we could run through the water i was beating her.
i got to the sand bent over tired from the short amount of exercise. dahlia comes up and lifts me into her arms throwing me over her shoulder holding my ass to keep me in place.
i laughed at her telling her to put me down. she does and looks at me with a grin. "you make me the happiest i've been in forever y/n" she grinned holding my hands.
i blush at her words as we talk and walk hand in hand back to her car.
grabbing our towels and phones we jump up into the back of the ute watching the orange fold through the clouds.
i leant my head on her shoulder and she wrapped an arm around my waist rubbing her thumb up and down.
i pulled my ankle up gently rubbing it. "did you hurt it?" dahlia asked turning to look at me.
"not intentionally. ever since i broke it it always hurts after i run" i saïd dropping my leg back down.
there was a couple dog walkers that walked infront of us but other than that we had the perfect view of the beach.
dahlia asked i take some photos for her which i happily obliged to as she jumped down. she then pushed me infront of her to get photos of me which i wasn't as thrilled about.
we took some more photos together and laid our towels over the back to lay down.
my legs hung over the edge as the stars started to come out.
dahlia slips her hand into mine and i turn my head to look at her. she looks back at me with a look of adoration in her eyes.
"we have one more pit stop before going back" i informed her making the girl look at me with a confused expression.

i was going to get dahlia into a shark attack this chapter but i'll save it for later i guess
also what do you guys think she looks like cause i've said it but i had people comment different things and i'm just curious.
