—— Jungwon

As I sat on the couch, waiting for Seori to finish her shower, I opened the shared journal, feeling inspired by her words and the love we shared. With a pen in hand, I began to write, pouring my thoughts onto the pages.

"Dear Seori,

Today may have been chaotic, but in the midst of it all, your presence was the calm in the storm. Your strength and resilience never cease to amaze me, and I'm grateful to have you by my side.

I know the road ahead may not be easy, but I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what. Together, we can conquer anything that comes our way.

Thank you for being you, for bringing light into my life even on the darkest days. You're more than just a dreamer; you're my reality, my anchor in a sea of uncertainty.

I hope this journal serves as a reminder of the love we share, a tangible representation of the memories we've created together. And as we continue on this journey, know that my heart belongs to you, now and always.

With all my love,
Jungwon"

Closing the journal, I set it aside, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. Whatever the future held, I knew that as long as Seori and I were together, we could weather any storm. And with that thought in mind, I eagerly awaited her return, ready to wrap her in my arms and cherish the moments we shared.

As Seori emerged from the bathroom, clad in one of my oversized t-shirts and shorts, my heart skipped a beat at the sight of her. She looked effortlessly beautiful, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of affection towards her.

Handing her the journal, I watched eagerly as she eagerly opened it, her eyes scanning the words I had written. A smile tugged at her lips, but I noticed the hint of tears glistening in her eyes.

"Hey now, none of that," I teased, gently poking her side to lighten the mood. "I wrote that to cheer you up, not make you cry."

She laughed, wiping away the tears that threatened to spill over. "It's just so sweet," she admitted, her voice soft with emotion. "But at the same time, it's surprising coming from someone with your bad boy aura."

I feigned offense, placing a hand over my heart in mock indignation. "Are you implying that I'm incapable of being romantic?" I joked, a playful glint in my eyes.

Seori giggled, shaking her head. "Of course not," she replied, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to my cheek. "It's just... unexpected, that's all."

Leaning back against the couch, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. Despite our differences, Seori saw through the facade I presented to the world and accepted me for who I truly was. And in that acceptance, I found a love worth fighting for.

As Seori nestled closer to me, her head resting gently on my chest, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. The warmth of her presence was comforting, and I found myself relaxing into her embrace.

Glancing down, I noticed that her hair was still slightly damp from the shower. An idea formed in my mind, and with a mischievous grin, I declared, "Now it's my turn to blow-dry your hair. Last Saturday, you did it for me, remember?"

Seori chuckled, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "It's fine, really," she insisted, but I was already on a mission.

Scooping her up like a child, I effortlessly lifted her into my arms, her laughter filling the air as she wrapped her legs around my waist. Making our way to the bathroom, I couldn't help but revel in the feeling of her in my arms, her trust in me evident with every step we took.

Setting her down gently on the bathroom counter, I grabbed the blow dryer, a playful smirk playing on my lips. "Sit tight, princess," I teased, earning a playful swat on the arm from Seori.

As I began to blow-dry her hair, the sound of the dryer mingling with our laughter, I couldn't shake the feeling of contentment that filled me. In that moment, with Seori in my arms, I knew that no matter what the future held, as long as we were together, we could weather any storm. And for now, that was all that mattered.

As Jungwon blow-dried my hair, he transformed into a playful hairdresser, teasing and tousling my locks. Laughter bubbled between us as I attempted to protect my hair from his antics, his mischievous grin only encouraging his playful behavior.

"Careful, Jungwon! I don't want a hair disaster," I giggled, swatting his hands away from my freshly dried strands.

He chuckled, finally relenting, and together we made our way to his bedroom. Slipping under the cozy covers, I couldn't help but revel in the warmth of his embrace. The day had been filled with twists and turns, but being here with Jungwon made it all worthwhile.

Just as we settled in, my phone buzzed, and I saw my mom's name flashing on the screen. A mix of nerves and anticipation fluttered in my stomach as I answered the call.

"Hey, Mom," I greeted, trying to sound casual even though I knew the situation could be tricky.

"Seori, where are you?" she asked, concern evident in her voice.

"I'm at Jungwon's apartment," I admitted, bracing myself for her reaction.

There was a moment of silence before she spoke again. "Are you safe?" she inquired, her tone shifting from worry to a more relaxed one.

"Yeah, I'm fine. We just wanted to hang out after the street racing event," I explained.

Mom sighed. "Just be careful, okay? And don't share a bed with him, Seori. You're still young, and I don't want you getting into any trouble."

I couldn't help but chuckle nervously at her words. "Mom, we're just friends. No need to worry about that."

She seemed satisfied with my response, and after a brief conversation about my plans for the next day, we said our goodbyes. As I ended the call, I felt a mix of relief and guilt. I hadn't lied, but I also hadn't revealed the full truth about the nature of my relationship with Jungwon.

Turning to him, I noticed the questioning look in his eyes. "Everything okay?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

"Yeah, my mom just wanted to make sure I'm safe," I reassured him, but a part of me wondered when the right time would be to share the complexities of our relationship with my family.

As we lay there in the quiet of his bedroom, I couldn't help but ponder the undefined nature of what Jungwon and I shared. It was a love that defied labels, and for now, that was enough.

Tuesday morning dawned with a sense of apprehension lingering in the air. As I made my way to school, the weight of the rumors pressing down on me like a heavy burden. Despite my attempts to ignore them, they continued to swirl around me, fueled by the whispers and glances of my classmates.

Jiyeon, ever persistent, trailed behind me like a shadow, her taunts and jeers following me every step of the way. I tried to block out her words, focusing instead on the rhythm of my footsteps against the pavement.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice the approaching car until it was too late. The sudden honking startled me, and I turned to see Jungwon's sleek car pulling up beside me. He rolled down the window, a smirk playing on his lips as he called out to me.

"Get in," he said, his voice a mixture of amusement and determination.

I hesitated, my mind racing with the implications of accepting his offer. If I got into his car, the rumors would only escalate, spreading like wildfire throughout the school. But despite my reservations, there was a part of me that longed for his company, for the reassurance that came with being by his side.

Taking a deep breath, I made a split-second decision and climbed into the passenger seat, the cool leather beneath me a stark contrast to the warmth of the morning sun.

As we drove towards school, I couldn't help but steal glances at Jungwon beside me, his presence a comforting anchor amidst the chaos of the rumors. And though the stares and whispers followed us as we entered the school parking lot, I found solace in the knowledge that as long as Jungwon was by my side, I could weather any storm.
