In Xisumas admin console unnerving message appeared.
Drista joined the game.
Xisuma messaged Grian: Pearl came back quite a lot earlier than you did, how come?
Grian messaged Xisuma: She was starting to lose control I think? I was too. We were just transformed for too long.
Xisuma messaged Grian: so I don't need to worry right?
Grian messaged Xisuma: pretty sure you dont.
Xisuma messaged Grian: you know who Drista is? She joined after Tommy did. But it only showed up on my admin panel.
Grian messaged Xisuma: odd. She's a god. Seems to know Tommy. I'll ask before I leave them at Scarland
Xisuma messaged Grian: I'd appreciate that. Head home after, alright?
Grian messaged Xisuma: o7
"My good nephew Tommy, let's talk for a moment"
"Okay"
Grian lead Tommy away from the group for a bit of a private chat. The others started walking back to Scarland.
"It seems as though your friend Drista followed you."
"She's here"
"She's invis somewhere"
"Oh.. I guess I should find her"
"Lemme check her co-oords" Grian opened his communicator and looked up her coordinates
"Where'd she end up?"
"I think she's in Scarland.."
"She's related to Dream. Probably just checking up on him"
"Well anyway. Lemme bring you back to Scarland."
"Can we fly there?"
"Can you hold on?"
Tommy smiled while nodding. Grian flapped his wings to get off the ground then stayed in one place to rise a little before picking up Tommy, "hang on". They flew to Scarland

"Dumbass! Where is he?"
*Drista... Nono that has to be imagination...*
Drista flung his door open and interrupted a call.
"Hey idiot, how you doing?"
"Did XD send you?"
"Can't I check up on my favourite brother."
"Did XD send you.?"
"In a way"
Dream sighed. "It's good to see you."
"Yeah! Anyway. Uhmm" Drista didn't want to stop talking so there wouldn't be any awkward silence. "I should go. I don't wanna worry that admin because of an intruder"
"Tell XD I said hi for me yeah?"
"Sure." Drista was shocked he said that. They weren't exactly on good terms. They haven't been speaking for quite some time.
Drista left the game.
+Once Grian landed at Scarland+
"I wanted to ask you something kinda personal if you didn't mind?"
"Sure."
"Your wings. You said they didn't develop properly or something like that right?"
"I'm an avian. I'm basically a chicken. I can't fly, it's like have permanent slow falling. That's all my wings do. Why do you ask?"
"I might have found a way to grow them."
"How?!"
"It's watcher magic. But it's a fairly easy spell. I'll do with only your permission.."
"What if it goes wrong?"
"I've practiced it. It hasn't gone wrong"
"How'd you practice it?"
"Don't want to tell you that."
"I guess I'll have to ask Phil but I kinda want to do it. It would be pretty cool to be able to fly."
Tommy smiled at thinking how cool flying would be with his actual wings. "Could you ask him with me? I should probably also ask Sam too.."
"Sure, let's go ask both of them"
+Once they found them, they were sitting around a fireplace together, relaxing before the day ended+
"Hey Phil? Sam?"
"Hey Tommy, how was your day? You've been offline like all day" Sam asked as they walked into the room.
"Sorry I had something to do Sam. I had a question for you and Phil but we need to talk privately"
"Let's go into your room then shall we?" Sam led Phil Tommy and Grian into Tommy's room since Puffy was asleep in his since they shared one.
"What's up" Sam said after closing the door.
Tommy looked to Grian.
"You got this" Grian said.
"Uncle Grian here has a spell, he can use on me to grow my wings...He won't do it without my permission but I really want him to do it. But I figured as my parental figures and legal guardians I might as well ask you both if it was okay"
"It sounds like a great opportunity but... And I mean no offence to Grian, how do you know he won't mess it up?" Sam said, worried about the safety of his kid
"He's practiced. He said it himself that it's a fairly easy spell. Nothing can go wrong. Phil could you say something, please"
"Phil?" Grian looked at Phil for him to say something. Anything.
"It just seems like too much of a risk. How'd you even practice a spell like that anyways"
"I can't exactly tell you that."
"It was living being wasn't it..?" Phil's tone dropped.
"It was fine. It was like I didn't even do the spell on it in the first place."
"I don't know Tommy. It's up to you but it just seems too risky" Phil opened the door and was about to leave through it when Grian shouted something he never thought someone would say to him.
"I might've also found a spell to heal your wings! Completely.."
Phil turned around looking at him wearing a very shocked expression. "What...?"
"I did some research while wanting to grow Tommy's wings. I found a way to completely heal yours. You could finally fly again.."
"I appreciate the thought. But my wings are fine"
"A crow's wings shouldn't look like that"
"No bird's wings should be looking like that." Tommy added
"I'm sorry but no, you aren't touching my wings with your- your monster magic" Phil accidentally slipped out 'monster' instead of what he actually wanted to say, he was going to say 'watcher magic' but didn't even realise that's not what came out.
*Monster...*
"You're not a monster uncle Grian..."
"A lot of people seem to think so" Grian's tone dropped, he was all too familiar with this feeling but it still hurt like a bitch.
"Go for it. Do the spell if you think you want it. I don't think I've ever seen you so excited" Sam tried to change the subject. Didn't really work. So he just left.
Tom checked his communicator while it was dinging. For quite a few minutes. X was already doing his rounds. The only ones who weren't in bed were him Grian Sam and Phil plus a few Redstoners
"Night Tommy"
"Night Uncle Grian. We'll perform the spell tomorrow, if you're not awake be prepared to be woken up"
"Sure" Grian left and flew home for a night. He was met with Xisuma looking for him and no Mumbo, he was in his megabase vault this time.
"Hey X..."
"Oh there you are..Are you doing alright?"
"Fine. Just fine" Grian looked up to him, X saw it in his eyes, he wanted to cry but kept it together.
"You're upset.. What's happened"
Grian sighed knowing he'd keep worrying until he found out. "I just love..being called a monster with my monster magic..."
X just ruffled his hair softly, he didn't ask further with how tired Grian seemed. Grian fell into bed and slept immediately. He was all tuckered out. With being active all day but also being transformed for that long, burned all of his energy.
X left to check up on anyone else who wasn't asleep while checking off his list. He looked at the tab list then left Grian to sleep.
