Naina shifts her eyes towards Viren. She has decided to let him know all about her and Rajveer and wants to start this new relationship with him on honesty. But she thought what exactly was their relationship, she was his best friend's sister, he was her mentor, her teacher, her saviour, maybe best friends and could have been much more...... Still, Viren has every right to know about her past and will tell him all about it. There was also another reason why she wanted to tell Viren right now. He introduced Rajveer as an outsider but he is not an outsider. It was so agonizing to hear Viren's words. Rajveer is an important part of her life and will always be and she can't forget him.
Naina (said proudly in strong voice) : "I know him Viren, he is my brother's best friend and was my mentor". (Rajveer felt honoured as soon he heard these words and looked at Naina. His eyes light up with pride that she still remembers the special bond that they shared).
"Main Aaj jo bhi hu inke karan hu verna kabh ki apne rastay se bhatak jaati". (Rajveer was overwhelmed to hear that he has a special place in her life. He felt so emotional that tears started flowing from eyes. Viren was staring Naina shockingly as he is trying to process this. The man who is standing in front of him is Naina's mentor whom she has a great amount of respect and trust. He knew that she fought for her brother and his honour against the world. Whenever she talked about her mentor there was a spark in her eyes that you can't miss and was never tired of praising him. She never mentioned his name and he didn't ask. Wait, but he died a few years ago then how can he be alive).
"Tum ko yaad hain na main humesha inke baare mae baat karti thi. Humesha yahi sochti thi ki agar Sir hote toh kya karte. He is my strength and to whom I looked upon after Naveen Bhaiya and the balance between right and wrong. He is Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, a great human being, soldier, friend, teacher and my mentor". (After saying this, Naina looked at Rajveer with respect and pride. Rajveer was not able to move his eyes from her. He was still not believing what Naina has said a few minutes ago. She still considers him as her mentor and that was enough for him. Trust, pride, respect and pain for him was visible in Naina's eyes that he has been waiting to see for the last seven years. His beliefs from the last few years were broken that mentor-protege relationship that they had in the past won't be the same after what happened in court. They got lost in each other as no one else mattered).
Shalini was also feeling very emotional to see pride and respect in Naina's voice and eyes for Rajveer. She thought at least there is some hope left for them to be together. Viren keeps moving his eyes on Naina and Rajveer and raised eyebrows as trying to understand is there something which he is missing. Naina's eyes filled up with emotions that she has kept hidden from Rajveer. She pushed them back as don't want to feel it again and lowered eyes. Rajveer was trying to read other emotions in her eyes but was not able to do so when Naina stopped looking at him. He came out of his thoughts, wiped his tears and cleared throat to get Viren's attention.
Rajveer (proudly looking at Viren) : "Main jo bhi hu woh sirf apne cadets kae karan hu. They are my pride and life. (staring Naina intently) Main yae jankar kae bahut khush hu ki aaj bhi main unke liye mayane rakhta hu".
"Aap humare bhi strength aur pride hain, Sir". (All were startled to hear loud voices suddenly. When Naina and Viren turn, they can see Rajveer's rest of the cadets smiling).
Alekh : "Sir, hum bhi hain aapke cadets. Aap apun logo ko bhul hi gaye".
Huda : "Sirji, aap humesha hume bhul jaate ho apne favourite cadet ke saamne".
Pooja : "Oye, Jaat. Tujhe abhi bhi aadat nahi hu. Tu toh humesha last mae aata hai".
Yudi : "Pooja, please yaar tum kisko bol rahi hu. He never listens".
Ali : "Aap kyu Huda Bhai ko taang kar rahe ho. Woh toh bas piche se first aate hain. Haina Sir".
All burst into laughter except Huda who was looking at them angrily.
Naina (with a mischievous smile held Huda's arm) : "Please tum log isko kuch mat kaho. Huda toh humesha hi aage hain list mae (Huda looked at Naina with a smile and thinks she is only his true friend) Sir ki sabse kharab cadets ki".
Huda (made a cry baby face) : "Dekha Sirji, aise hi karte hain mere saath. Phoolan tu toh meri dost hain na, (pointing at the rest of them) inke jaisi toh nahi thi. Main tum mae se kisi se baat nahi karunga".
All were trying to hide their smiles while Rajveer shook his head and thought they haven't changed and Huda is still a kid.
Rajveer (with a smile walked and stood near Huda) : "Huda, tum toh humesha mere favourite rahe ho. Mere razdaar".
Huda unintentionally pushed Viren who was standing next to Naina to hug Rajveer tightly.
Viren felt a jerk and tried to keep his balance. He got a little bit angry at Huda as they don't like each other much and try to act friendly only for Naina. He was about to say something but Naina stopped him.
Naina (whispered) : Viren, please leave it. Huda jab emotional hota hain toh aise hi react karta hain. Please believe me he didn't want to hurt you".
Viren (with complaining tone): "It's ok Naina. He is your friend, I can understand. Tum toh saabh ko jaanti hu siwaye mere. (looking at Rajveer and her friends) For you, all are important except..... ".
Naina narrowed her eyes on Viren as trying to understand him. Is he feeling insecure or out of this group but what she has done or said that he is thinking like this. She decided to ask him about this later as this is not the right place to discuss it.
Naina's parents were in a rush as they suddenly came back from behind, didn't look what was happening and started speaking.
Naina's father : "Naina, beta chal tujhe kuch relatives se milwana hain aur fir chalna bhi toh hain..." (He stopped talking when saw Rajveer hugging Huda. Both parents were shocked to see Rajveer here) : "Captain, aap yaha kaise.... ".
Rajveer breaks the hug after hearing Naina's father's voice. He is surprised to see Naina's parents in front of him. He does not know what to say and how to explain to them where he was, how he is here but still has to say something.
Rajveer : "Hello Sir, Mam, how are you? Woh actually main nahi jaanta tha ki ye Viren ka ghar hain aur aap log yaha par hain. Main toh bas kuch wapa dene aaya tha aur Naina ko dekha toh.....".
Naina's father : "Yahi ruk gaye (smirk) aur itne saalo kae baad, usse aur uske friends se bhi mil liya hai na. Dekh liya sabh kya kar rahe hain apni life mae".
Rajveer can understand the complaint and taunt in his words but ignore it. While Naina, Viren and her friends were looking at both of them. Naina, Rajveer and others were thinking why he or Naina's mother is not looking shocked after seeing Rajveer alive after so many years. Naina was not happy with her father's behaviour but didn't want to say anything in front of Viren.
Naina's father signalled his wife through eyes and then mother (Mira) spoke.
Mira : "Alekh, Huda aur tum sabh chalo mere saath mujhe tumhari help chaiye saman car mae rakh wane kae liye".
But Rajveer's cadets didn't want to leave him alone. Alekh soch raha tha ki kuch toh locha hone wala hain. Huda ko yakeen tha ki uncle Rajveer Sir ko kuch zarur bol denge. But the rest of the friends had a feeling that something big was going to happen. Shalini wanted to calm down Naina's parents as they were looking angry.
Naina was about to say something but her father stopped her by showing his hand and said "Naina tum jao, Mehra ji tumhara intezaar kar rahe hain".
Mira : "Bacho, please chalo der ho rahi hain".
Viren : "Main bhi chalta hu aapke saath aunty ji".
Naina's Mother : "Nahi beta, aap rehne do. Hum manage kar lenge".
Alekh : "Viren, hum jaa rahe hain, koi baat nahi".
Huda : "Thanks Viren par hum log bahut hain uncle aunty ki help kae liye. Chalo guys".
Viren just wants to take Naina from here as he was not liking this situation.
Viren : "Chalo Naina, I also want to show you our room after meeting the relatives. Main chahta hu tum kuch changes kar lo apne hisab se".
Rajveer felt a pinch in his heart when heard 'our room' from Viren. He thought there couldn't be any 'our' for Viren and Naina, she is not yours, so, stop saying that. It was the same feeling with her friends as they don't want Naina with Viren but can't say anything in front of her parents.
Alekh, Huda and the rest of the friends went with Mira and Naina left with Viren. But they left with fear that something big was going to happen and glanced at Shalini before leaving as asking her to help Rajveer. She smiled and nodded as already knows what they are trying to say.
Naina turned back again as wanted to check, if he is fine. Rajveer was already looking at her and was able to see concern for him in her eyes. He smiled and blinked to let her know that everything was fine but his heart was crying to see her leaving with Viren. Still, he was happy to know that Naina was worried for him. It was a hope on which he can live.
Naina smiled for a moment on this reaction. She has now full faith that he could fight this as he was looking like her old Rajveer Sir. So, retreated to follow Viren and left Rajveer with Shalini to face her father
