You woke up abruptly to the sound of your little girl screaming, you shot up in yours and bens bed feeling Ben worriedly shoot up himself. Ben sprung up with you and he immediately sprinted in front of you to your daughter's room. He burst the door open to her room as both of you rushed in, her star ceiling lamp being the only source of light...Angelica was lay screaming and crying in her small bed, she's only 4 and she's constantly napping, when she does sleep on a night she's been waking up screaming with no reason. You and Ben was starting to get worried about her, Ben picked her up and calmed her down in his arms and carried her to yours and bens room...you both sat watching her as she fell asleep between you and Ben.
"Do you think it's nightmares?" Ben said his voice sort of shaky.
"I'm going to ring the doctors and tell them what's been going on, she's been sleeping and storing a lot more, she sometimes seems in pain when she's screaming." You said softly stroking your daughter's brunette hair.
"I'm scared moll." Ben admitted, you looked at him and watched as he clasped his eyes shut tightly a tear escaping as he did so, it broke your heart.
"Me too Ben, but we have to remember she's not Angel Ben, we can't always be worried everytime angelica gets ill we've been threw a lot stop beating yourself up, what happened to Angel wasn't our fault." You said wiping your own tears away, bens arms pulled you into him and Angelica cuddling into you both.
"I love you Molly." He kissed you softly.
"I love you Ben." You kissed him back.
You woke up hearing the sounds of your little girls laughter, it was days like this you cherished the most. Something you'd always dreamed of for your younger self with angel. You wondered into the bathroom seeing her sat in a bath full of bubbles as Ben washed her hair. You stood up the door frame smiling in awe, they truly were the love of your life. Bens eyes were bright again he finally found peace, and Angelica healed an empty hole that had been made all those years ago in his heart. You got dressed and headed downstairs doing some washing, you then cooked some breakfast for you, Ben and Angelica. They wondered down and you sat the three of you and eat breakfast.
"Daddy." Her little soft voice spoke, her noice was just like bens.
"Yes darling." He turned to her immediately, his blue eyes turning a lighter shade he awed his little princess so much you loved him even more watching him become a dad.
"Feel sick." She said bens eyes softened.
"Come here sweetie." You said softly to her she jumped of her little chair and immediately ran into your arms.
She lay on your lap while you stroked her hair until she fell asleep on you, now you was worried about her. Ben took her off you and gently carried her up to bed, he tucked her in to bed while you got showered and washed your hair and got changed. You woke Angelica up after she'd had an hours nap, you gave her some calpol and she seemed to be better. You and Ben went around the local Tesco's with Angelica letting her pick some treats, until she then took a funny turn again. You and Ben couldn't settle and Ben immediately drove you to A&E where nurses saw to Angelica immediately. You and Ben stood in horror as nurses surrounded your Abby girl, it was like a nightmare for you and Ben as much as you tried not to think about the past you couldn't help it.
"She's got a high temperature." A nurse explained to you and Ben.
"She's been on and off tired, waking up screaming on a night for a couple of days." You explained worriedly to her. "She's not been complaining that she's ill or in pain until she felt un well today."
"The doctor wants her to stay here over night for further tests and observation, the two of you can stay in her room with her." She said.
After an hour of Angelica being examined and tested, she'd had a saline drip and blood tests. She's got a kidney infection quite a serious one, the doctors were giving her antibiotics through a drip...you and Ben felt better they found out what was wrong and she was getting the help to get better. But the two of you still felt worried, you couldn't bare the thought of another one of your baby's being at risk. You and Ben stayed with her all night, Ben sat holding her hand until she woke up after her drip. The doctor then gave her the all clear and gave you and Ben antibiotics to give her over the course of the next two weeks to fully clear it up. When you got her home she was down for another nap after her tablet. You, her and Ben eat together watching her choice of Disney film which was repunzel ;before Ben carried her up to bed making sure she was comfy and asleep before he reappeared.
"Masons calling me." You furrowed your eyebrows.
"I spoke to him earlier he knows Angelica went into hospital." Ben explained.
"I'll go answer him." You nodded.
"Hello?!" He spoke quickly down the phone at you, his voice shacking.
"Hiya mase." You said.
"Moll, I need to know if she's okay." You heard him struggle to swallow.
"She's home and she's on the right track to getting better now." You explained, you heard him breathe a sigh of relief. "She has a kidney infection she's been given a course of antibiotics threw a drip overnight at hospital, and she's got a course of antibiotics for the next two weeks to ensure the infections fully clear."
"God, I've been worried sick all day...do you and Ben need anything? I can drive up from Manchester you know that don't you? I'll put football of Molly, if you say you need me." You admired Mason for how much he'd always loved you, he'd do anything for you and 'his little angel' even though Angelica wasn't his he still loved her like she was, all Mason ever wanted was for yours and bens dream to come true that didn't stop him from loving you though.
"Mase thank you so much, we're okay I promise I'll let you know how our angel is getting on, maybe when she's fully recovered you could come down and see us one of the weekends you could stay here with us." You offered.
"That's sounds amazing, I'd love to see Angelica, missed her so much." He paused. "Missed you so much. Let me know if you need anything molly don't hesitate."
"Thanks mase I will." You paused. "Miss you more."
"Love you." You said, more in a platonic way but you still loved him more Ben knew you would always love him more than mason, but you'd still love mason.
"Love you moll." Mason said back before you both hung up.
"Angelica?" Ben said with a smile, Ben loved how close Mason was to his little girl.
"Yeah hes going to come up here one of the weekends." You smiled.
"That'll be good, we'll all have to go out the Chelsea lot while he's up." Ben said.
"He'll love that." You nodded, you lay across bens lap as he snuggled into you pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
"I love you beautiful." He smiled.
"I love you more." You smiled kissing him again.
