chris hates morning while you're a morning person
status: you and chris are together!

you decided to sleep over at your boyfriend's house tonight. you tend to go over there once or twice a week, depending on your's and chris' schedules.
tonight was a calm and quiet night. you two hung out with nick and matt in the living room, playing mario kart on the nintento switch.
it was a quarter 'till 12 and you felt yourself let out a yawn.
"you're tired already?" chris exclaims with his high energy.
"yes do you not see what time it is?" you bicker. "i'm going to bed."
you gave the controller to chris as you guys took turns playing rounds.
"i'll be up there in a minute," chris gives you a kiss on the cheek. "let me just beat matt in this race first."
you chuckled at his competitivity he has with mario kart, especially against matt.
you got up off the couch and started to walk to chris' room, "goodnight you guys!"
"goodnight y/n!" nick and matt say in unison.
you got to his room and turned on the light. you rub your eyes and make your way to the bathroom and brushed your teeth. since you were staying the night, you already had on your sweatpants and hoodie.
chris always stays up late with his brothers and you always go to sleep first. luckily you go to bed without accidentally falling asleep on the couch. you're a morning person while your boyfriend and his brothers are total opposite.
you put your phone on the charger next to the nightstand and get under the covers. you shuffle yourself in to get comfortable and ended up falling straight to sleep a couple minutes later.

couple hours passed and you felt the other side of the bed sink, hencing it was chris laying down too. he did the same thing as you did and get under the covers, then laying on his side wrapping his arm around your waist and the other one resting his head.
you woke up a tiny bit but not enough to fully realize what was going on. you felt a peck on the top of your head and you felt your cheeks get red. chris does that every time he goes to bed after you. you find his physical touch to be comforting and adorable.
you slowly doze back off knowing chris is sleeping next to you now, and you sleep the rest of the night.

the next morning
you wake up around 8. it's usually your time to wake up because you love starting your days early. chris' arm is still around you since last night. you try your best to slowly get out of it without waking him up but you fail.
"mm? y/n, why are you up so early?" chris groans.
"i'm always up this early what do you mean?" you laugh as you open his curtains up a little letting in some natural light
chris groans as he turns to the opposite side hiding his eyes in a pillow.
"can you just come back into bed and sleep some more?" he whines.
"nope. i'm now wide awake and can't go back to sleep," you replied. "you can go back to sleep though, i didn't mean to wake you."
you start walking away and realize you didn't get a response from chris. you turn back around and he's fully under the covers now fast asleep again. you smile and leave to go into the kitchen and make some breakfast.
you made this really good yogurt cup from scratch. adding mixed berry yogurt, a layer of granola, blueberries and cut up strawberries.
"good morning y/n," you hear, turning around to see nick yawning and stretching.
"good morning sleepyhead," you say before taking a bite. "you get some good sleep?"
"yes i literally went to bed after you did. matt and chris stayed up going against each other all fucking night," he complained.
you couldn't help but laugh at their behavior. their duo together is chaotic but funny at the same time.
"would you like one?" you ask nick, pointing at your yogurt cup.
"no thank you, i was actually going to starbucks. i wish someone would take me though..." he whines, but looking at you at the same time, hinting he wants you to take him.
you chuckled at his attempt, "yes nick i'll take you. let me just wash this cup out real quick."

you guys come back from starbucks like an hour later. the morning people going into work caused the place to be pact. you got your regular and nick got his drink and a bacon and egg sandwich.
nick opens the door abruptly not caring to wake up his brothers. you shush him.
"i don't care, it's their fault they're loud all the time. i'm just returning back the energy!" he says. you couldn't help but laugh.
it was close to 10 now and you decide to go check on chris. you tell nick where you're going to go and he says "okay" and turns on the tv in the living room eating his food.
you went to his room to see him still in the same position you left him. you quietly close the door behind you.
you take a last sip of your drink before placing it on the nightstand and taking off your slippers going back into bed with chris. you lay down under the covers and fit yourself under chris' chin with you snuggled up wrapping your arms around his waist.
you hear a groan come out of his mouth and he looks down to see you.
"y/n, what time is it?" he asked with his raspy voice from sleeping with his mouth open.
"it's close to 10, specifically 9:47," you answer.
he scoffs, "it's still way too early to start off the day."
he wraps his arms around you now, resting his chin on your head, and slowly going back to sleep for the second time.
"you are one lazy bum," you say.
"shut up. just stay here with me until i'm ready to get up," he snaps back, still half awake.
"whatever you say cranky."
you slowly start dozing off back to sleep. feeling chris' presence this close to you really relaxes you. he tends to have you get lazy with him, especially in the mornings.
