Mystic Falls High,
The Next Night,
3rd Person:
Chris and Bonnie had spent the next day with Katherine travelling to each Expression point hotspots; The Witch site, The Lockwood Cellar and the Pastors Farm, so they could drop the veil without Silas to be able to speak with Qetsiyah and discover how to best him like she did
This sent the town of Mystic Falls on a journey of a major power cut and extreme winds which kept everyone indoors
While their friends tried to search for them in the school, the twins and Katherine were actually underneath it in the tunnels, ready to do the spell
"Okay, this is the centre of the triangle. Now, give us the tombstone" Bonnie demanded
"The fact that this spell hinges on some crappy hunk of blood-rock does little to inspire my confidence" Katherine said as she handed Bonnie a bag that has the Tombstone in
"It's filled with the calcified blood of Qetsiyah, one of the strongest witches in the world. It'll work" Bonnie told her as she took the tombstone out of the bag
Bonnie and Chris stand facing one another, both holding the Qetsiyah blood rock. They closed their eyes as they concentrated on the tombstone. Blood then started seaping out of the stone "What is happening?" Katherine asked them
"We're channeling the Expression triangle" Bonnie informed her as flames lit on some torches that surrounded the cave
"It's done, the veils down" Chris told her
"Tik tok, Bennetts. Ghosts of our past are haunting the realm as we speak" Katherine clapped impatiently
"Shut up" Chris shook his head at her while he sat on the ground with Bonnie "We can't reach Qetsiyah if you keep talking to us"
Katherine sighed at them then suddenly span around nervously looking towards the enterence to the cave "Do you hear that? I think someones coming"
"Katherine, I think in your five hundred year life you'd have had plenty of people telling you to shut up. I employ you to remember what it means" Chris shouted at her
"I have vampire hearing. Unlink me, Bonnie so I can go stall them while you wait for Qetsiyah to show up"
"I'm not letting you go" Bonnie told her
"Who cares about her?" Chris told Bonnie "Just let her go. She's getting on my nerves"
"Fine. Go. stop them" Bonnie told her and she left the cavern and journeyed into the tunnels
After a few minutes Bonnie suddenly started to scream and hold her chest "Bonnie, what's wrong?" Chris panicked seeing blood on her hand and chest
"Katherine... The link" She struggled to say. Her face then started to scold in red and she fell to the ground as Stefan and Caroline came running into the tunnel
"Chris, what's happening?" Stefan asked him in a hurry
"Someone's hurting Katherine. She's linked to Bonnie. Go find her! Now!" Stefan then vampire sped away to find her leaving Caroline with themA
"Bonnie, you need to unlink yourself" Chris demanded her to
Bonnie managed to unlink herself from Katherine but then stayed on the ground with her eyes closed, not moving "Bonnie? Bonnie!" Chris shouted as he shook her but she didn't respond
"What are you doing down here?" Caroline asked Chris since Bonnie was unconscious for the time being
"We're waiting for Qetsiyah" He said without thinking
"You might be waiting a while then" She said which made Chris' eyebrows cross, he turned around and stood up to her "Qetsiyah isn't coming, Christopher" A deep voice came behind him
Silas
Chris looked around in panic "But I saw Caroline. How? I stopped you from getting into my head"
"That's what I wanted you to think. I can make you see whoever I want you to see. Am I actually even a disfigured monster?"
Behind Chris he was disguised as Stefan "Of course not. The monster is what I wanted you to see"
"That's the beauty of all this. You have no idea who I am" He said as Caroline again
"Or what I look like" He said changing to look like Kol Mikaelson
He returned to the monstrous face "Or how deep inside I am inside of your head"
"You thought you were more powerful than me?" Stefans body said
"I am stronger than you can imagine" He said as Caroline "I defeated the Hunters Curse in minutes!" He kept walking slowly towards him "You thought that you could betray me. You can't. I will always be one step ahead"
"Stay away from us!" Chris said harshly
"Gladly. Once you do the spell. Then when the veil is dropped completely, I can take the cure" He pulled the cure out of his pocket in his hands in preparation "I just want to pass on, Chris. I'll even let you kill me if you want. Then I won't be able to bother you or your sister ever again"
"But then all the dead supernatural creatures will be roaming the earth. Most of which will want to kill us" Chris said
"Yeah, but if you don't help me then I'll be roaming the earth wanting to kill you" Silas pointed out
"We were never gonna drop the veil" Chris told him
"I'm really curious" He asked "What was your plan? Pow wow with Qetsiyah? Brainstorm ways to put me down?" He laughed at this "Qetsiyah's not coming. She wants me on the Other Side with her for eternity"
"Chris! Bonnie!" He could hear the call of Damon echoing through the cave tunnel
"That sounds familiar" He was now disguised as Alaric "Maybe I can get Damon to convince you"
"I'm not going to let you!" Chris threatened
"Not going to let me what?" Not being phased by this. Chris then started to gasp for breath "You feel that. The air thinning. Barely enough to breath" He laughed as Chris fell to the ground praying for the oxygen to return. He crawled along the ground to try shake Bonnie awake but was unsuccessful
"Chris..." He heard the voice of Grams behind him as he began passing out "This isn't real Christopher. Feel the air flow through your lungs" She tried to help him
"But- But, Silas" He gasped
"Would Silas try to keep you alive? Now breathe my child" The words of Grams helped him and he could breathe again. She helped him up onto his feet and hugged him
"I was so worried about you. I didn't know if you were okay or not" Chris told her as Bonnie gasped and woke back up. She turned and saw them
"Omg. Grams" Bonnie gasped as Chris helped her up to join them
"Hello child" Grams smiled "I've missed you also. I've been watching over the both of you"
"I messed up" Bonnie cried "I'm sorry"
"Enough pity. You both can still stop Silas" Grams said as she grabbed both Chris and Bonnies hands
"No I can't. Qetsiyah was able to immobilize him so he couldn't get into people's heads. I don't know how to do that. Or how to put him down" Bonnie said sadly
"You can. Together, you can do anything. You have Expression now. Expression is a manifestation of your will. And with both of you doing it you will be able to. I may not like it but sometimes there are no other choices" She gave them an inspiring speech to try empower them, not complaining about the dark magic they had been using the entire time "You two are strong, stronger than you know. Even now. So will your own way to stop him"
Bonnie and Chris looked at one another and nodded. Quickly they rushed to find Silas who was with Damon. They could hear the screams of Alaric, who Silas was disguised as, Damon was using chains to try and strangle him
Chris and Bonnie held one of eachothers hand and walked into the cave they were in "We may not be able to kill you, but we will stop you" They closed their eyes and felt the power flow through them both, slowly they put up their connected hand towards Silas who was slowly turning into stone "Your blood will clot in your veins. We will make every bone, muscle and joint in your body turn to stone. You won't have power over anyone anymore"
Silas screamed and slowly tried to move away towards the wall to hide himself "What the hell is happening?" Damon asked as he began to change
"He can't hide behind his mind control anymore. He's becoming his true self" Bonnie informed him
Damon walked to him to tried to get a look of his face but Silas managed to use his hands to cover his true self against the wall "Now who might you be?"
"I guess we will never know who he really is" Chris said

Chris, Bonnie, Damon and Stefan got together to talk about what to do "What now?" Chris asked
"You need to get rid of Silas' body" Bonnie aimed towards the brothers
"Slight problem, Medusa twins. Even though you turned him to stone, if he gets one more drop of blood he's back to his old mind tricks" Damon reminded them
"Alright so let's do what we should've done to Klaus" Stefan said "Dump his body in the middle of the ocean"
"Bonnie..." A voice behind them said. They turned to see Elena "I don't know what to say"
"You don't have to say anything"
"But I was so horrible to you?" She said in confusion
"You weren't you. I know what that's like. I wasn't me for a long time. We can talk about it later" Bonnie smiled which Elena gives it back "We got some catching up to do"
Jeremy then comes from behind Elena "Thank you" He said to Bonnie and Chris
"I'll give you as much time as I can" Chris said as Jeremy then went in for a hug with Bonnie then looked towards Chris with a smile. Chris then went in for a hug with Jeremy "But I will need to go and put the veil back up"
"I should make sure Kols body is somewhere safe until the veil goes back up" Stefan said which alerted Chris
"Kols here?" He asked
"Yeah. He was trying to get his revenge on me before he became a ghost again" Elena softly informed him
"Leave him with me" Chris walked over to Kols body lying on the ground unconscious as everyone else split up to do what they needed to
Elena and Jeremy spent a little time together
Stefan was with Caroline talking about how he wish Lexi had shown up, to which she then did for him
Damon spoke to Alaric about how he finally got the girl after all this time. Alaric then also gave him the cure for her so she could have everything she's ever wanted again
And Bonnie went to the cave to put the veil back up while Chris moved Kol to hide him while she did so
Chris looked sad, for the reason of Kol would rather enact revenge than find him. Even though he was too busy trying to bring the veil down so they could stop Silas
He bent down and grabbed Kols head in his hand. He pressed a kiss upon Kols forehead with his eyes closed and pulled back "Goodbye Kol" He chuckled finally letting go of his aggressive and angry feelings he's had since his death "I'm sorry, but it's time to go back"

Meanwhile Bonnie journeyed back to the caves setting up as many candles as she could for she wasn't actually trying to bring the veil back up... at least not yet "You have to put up the veil" Grams, who was also there with her said
"Not yet" Bonnie refused as she had something different in mind
"What are you doing? Bonnie!" Grams demanded to know
"I can bring Jeremy back. I can keep him here"
"No you can't!" She told her straight
"Elena needs him. This was always the plan. Jeremy wasn't supposed to die" She said stubbornly placing more candles about
"What about your brother. This will kill you Bonnie! You can't leave him, not now" Grams informed her
"He's going to be fine because I am not going to die. I'll bring Jeremy back and everything will go back to how it was before"
"It was the will of nature for him to die, don't go down with him. There is no magic in this world strong enough to challenge nature!" Grams shouted at her
"I have every magic!" Grams scoffed at her "I have the spirits!" Bonnie then set alight to all the candles and started chanting "Phesmatos ravenus un animum"
"Stop it!" Grams shouted as the flames grew more powerfully
"I have Expression!"
"Stop it, Bonnie!"
Dark veins grew and travelled through Bonnies veins "I have the darkness"
Grams looked in her eyes and shook her head "Bonnie don't"
"Phesmatos ravenus un animum" Bonnie repeated over and over until it was too much. Bonnie let out a huge gasp and the darkness consumed her, making her collapse to the ground
After a few she then awoke and got back up. Flames around the cave still burned. She could sense it in herself... sense something was wrong. Grams touched her shoulder making her turn around "I'm sorry, Bonnie. The spell. It was just too much"
Grams moved out her way and there she was. Still lying on the ground, but this time... "Oh my, God" She said in shock "I'm dead!"
