(scene opens to a sunset outside the Lookout where the pups including a visiting Liberty are having a frog race)
Liberty: (chuckles) I gotta admit, a frog race sounds kinda fun!
Skye: Yeah! Also it's great to have you sleepover Liberty!
Liberty: (smiles) I'm happy to spend some time with my pup pals!
Sound: (buzzing)
Marshall: Does anyone else hear a buzzing sound?
Pups: (nods) Yeah!
Mirage's voice: Me too!
(the group looks back finding Mason wearing a bee suit while carrying Mirage in his arms)
Mirage: (smiles and waves) Hi guys!
Ryder: Mason, Mirage, good seeing you again!
Mason: Nice seeing you guys!
Mirage: Thought we'd make a surprise visit!
Mason: Yep!
Zuma: Say dude, you got a frog suit?
Mason: (deactivates and reveals two discs) Bullfrog or poison frog?
Pups: Um...
Mason: The suits are harmless but fair advice be very careful very colorful frogs in jungles!
Pups: Noted!
(flash of light and reveals Mason now in a poison frog suit)
Liberty: Interesting suit!
Mason: Check this special feature! (activates the color changing features)
Ryder and pups: (surprised) Whoa!
Zuma: Cool dude!
Mason: Thanks Zuma! (glows red) Ready...
Ryder: (chuckles) (knows what Mason's up to) Got it! Set... (Mason's suit turns yellow)
Mason and Ryder: (shouts) Go! (Mason's suit turns green)
Pups: (begin their frog race) Ribbit! (laughs)
Mason: (realistic frog croak)
Ryder: Nice one!
Mason: (chuckles) Thanks Ryder! (deactivates suit)
(the pups keep jumping like frogs until Zuma spots a treat on the ground resulting everyone but Marshall crashes)
Marshall: Whoa! (keeps going and wins) I won? (cheers) Yay!
Pups: (chuckles) Nice one Marshall!
Ryder: (chuckles) Okay pups, time to turn in!
Mirage: (walks up behind Ryder) (grins)
Sound: (lion roar)
Ryder: (startled) Lion! (jumps into Mason's arms)
Pups: (chuckles)
Ryder: (notices Mirage behind him) (realizes) Oh!
Mirage: (giggles) Sorry Ryder, just thought I'd have a little roaring good fun before everyone goes to bed!
Ryder: (chuckles) Nice one Mirage, I thought it was a real lion for a moment!
Mason: Oh hi Katie!
Ryder: (surprised) Katie!? (realizes he's in Mason's arms) This is embarrassing!
Mason: (chuckles) Just joking Ryder!
Ryder: Phew! Um Mason?
Mason: (chuckles) Well you jumped into my arms! (gently sets down Ryder)
Chase: In Ryder's defense you were the only one who could lift him besides Rubble and Skye with super strength here at the moment!
Skye and Rubble: (chuckles) Yep!
Ryder: Well time for bed pups, so Mason, Mirage?
Mason: We'll sleep under the stars!
Mirage: (nods) Yep! If that's okay?
Ryder: (nods understandably) Okay guys! (to pups) Okay pups, bed time!
Pups: (ribbits and hop off to bed)
Ryder: (chuckles)
(scene changes Alex and Mr. Porter camping with Everest in the woods near the Frog Pond)
Alex: Grandpa can you please tell us a scary story?
Mr. Porter: How about the Phantom of the Frog Pond
Alex and Everest: (eagerly nods)
Mr. Porter: (tells the story of the phantom of the Frog Pond)
Everest and Alex: (spooked) Ooh!
Mr. Porter: Oh! Sorry, maybe it was a little too scary?
Everest: (chuckles) Not for me!
Female voice: (intimidatingly) Fresh meat!
Everest: (alert) (concerned) Who was that?
(the trio look back to find a pair of glowing pink eyes)
Alex: (screams) It's the phantom of the Frog Pond)
Everest: (scared) Who are you? What do you want?
(the figure steps out of the shadows revealing to be Melody)
All three: (relieved) Phew! Melody, it's just you!
Everest: Wait, was that voice you?
Melody: (intimidatingly) Fresh meat! (giggles) I was just joking in a spooky way around since you were telling a spooky story!
Everest: (relieved) Phew! But I wasn't scared!
Alex: I was, what about you grandpa?
Mr. Porter: (chuckles) She got me good!
Melody: (sniffs Everest)
Everest: (confused) Melody?
Melody: I'd say I got you too dear! (points to the small puddle of pee under Everest)
Everest: (blushes) (embarrassed) Maybe a little?
Alex: Whoa!
Melody: Sorry dear, didn't know I scared you that much!
Everest: At least I know it was just a motherly friend!
Melody: (has an idea) Hm? (claps paws) (winks at Everest)
Alex: Melody, would you like to join us?
Melody: I wouldn't wanna intrude?
Mr. Porter: It's not trouble at all, Melody!
Melody: I'd be delighted! (whispers to Everest) I made them forget that tinkle and made it vanish like it never happened!
Everest: (whispers) Thanks Melody!
(scene changes to later with the Porter's in the tent and Everest on a sleeping bag beside Melody)
Sound: (Mayor Humdinger's scream)
All but Melody: (awake) (surprised) Mayor Humdinger?
Sound: (howl/screech)
Alex: (worried) What was that!?
Everest: (concerned) I don't know, but it sounds like Mayor Humdinger could be in trouble!
(Mayor Humdinger and his empty kitty carrier roll toward the group of camper)
Mayor Humdinger: (lands on his chest with his kitty carrier on top of him) Oof!
Everest: Mayor Humdinger, what happened?
Mayor Humdinger: (surprised) Everest? I thought nobody was here?
Everest: Let me guess, relocating bullfrogs again?
Mayor Humdinger: (sighs) Fine, I was gonna see if anybody was around but I took a wrong turn at the Frog Pond! (worriedly looks back)
Mr. Porter: Something wrong, Mayor Humdinger?
Mayor Humdinger: (shivers) I saw two creatures slowly emerge from the pond, they had glowing purple eyes and banshee-like screams! (shivers) There's real phantoms in the pond, I'm outta here!
(little frogs fearfully go past)
Mayor Humdinger: Seems like the frogs have the same idea! (gets on his kitty carrier) I'll take those bullfrogs back home instead of phantoms! (quickly departs) Glad I didn't bring anything with me this time!
Everest: Uh oh?
Mr. Porter: We'd better check it out!
Alex: Good thing we've got a genie pup with us! (looks around) Say where's Melody?
Everest: (looks back to find Melody still asleep) Wow! She must be a heavy sleeper to sleep through those sounds!
Melody: (sleeps talks) Thanks dear, we can sleep through thunderstorms!
Everest: (curiously) Say if you're asleep, how'd you know I said that?
Melody: (sleep talks) We are telepathic dear!
Everest: Fair point! Will you be okay by yourself?
Melody: (nods in her sleep) (sleep talks) Stay safe dears!
(scene changes to the trio approaching the Frog Pond)
Alex: Grandpa, do you think Mayor Humdinger saw a real phantom?
Mr. Porter: Well whatever he saw must've really scared him!
(the trio arrive at the frogless pond)
Everest: (surprised) Whoa! No little frogs are here either!
Sound: (bubbling)
Alex: (concerned) What was that?
(two shadowy pups figures slowly emerge from the pond and float in midair)
Alex: (screams) There are two phantoms!
Mr. Porter: Oh dear!
(two pairs of purple eyes glare at the trio)
Everest: They don't look very happy to see us?
Mr. Porter: Something tells me they might be a little cranky!
Two female voices: Begone intruders!
(both figures take a deep breath)
Alex: (confused) What are they doing?
Both pup figures: (uses banshee screams mixed with sonic barks on the trio)
All three: Whoa! (sends them flying over the trees)
(Mr. Porter grabs the top of a pine tree and able to grab Alex in time but not Everest)
Mr. Porter and Alex: (shocked gasps) Everest!
Everest: (screaming) Whoa! Flying far away!
Alex: We need the Paw Patrol grandpa!
Mr. Porter: Good call Alex! (remembers) I think I left my phone at the campsite with Melody!
Alex: Uh oh!
(a small portal opens beside Mr. Porter seconds before Melody sticks her head out)
Melody: Forgot something? (pulls head back through the small portal then hands Mr. Porter his phone with her mouth)
Mr. Porter: Thanks Melody!
Melody: I woke up when I heard Everest screaming overhead and took a lucky guess that something happened! (pulls head back through portal then it closes)
Mr. Porter: Thanks Melody! Now to call the Paw Patrol!
Alex: (cheers) Yay!
(Mr. Porter prepares to call as the scene changes to the Lookout where Ryder is preparing to go to bed)
(pup-pad ringing)
Ryder: I wonder who's calling this late? (answers) Mr. Porter, Alex?
Mr. Porter: Sorry to wake you Ryder, but we've got some trouble at the Frog Pond!
Ryder: Mayor Humdinger relocating frogs again?
Mr. Porter: He was about to until he explained something scared him off so we checked it out and this happened! (shows Ryder that he and Alex are stuck in a tree)
Ryder: (gasps) What happened?
Mr. Porter: Apparently there's two phantoms in the Frog Pond, also very loud ones too!
Mason: (walks over carrying Mirage) You two sure they weren't banshees?
Mr. Porter: Hi Mason, what are you doing there?
Mason: Mirage and I were visiting!
Ryder: (curiously) Why did you bring up banshees?
Mason: Don't those have loud screams like these two mentioned!
Alex: Ryder, grandpa was able to catch me but poor Everest got sent flying far away, we're afraid she could get hurt! Also the frogs fled from their pond too!
Ryder: Uh oh! Don't worry you guys, no banshee is too loud, no pup or frog is too small!
(scene splits to show Ryder, Liberty, Chase, and a currently airborne Everest flying through the night sky)
Ryder: Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!
Everest: (notices her pup tag glowing)
Pups: Ryder needs us!
(scene with an airborne Everest enlarges to cover the whole screen)
Everest: (looks over) (surprised) Oh! Looks like I'm flying toward the Lookout!
(scene changes to Marshall accidentally launching himself into the elevator before the other pups)
Marshall: I'm first!
(the other pups enter)
Chase: (chuckles) And no wipe out either!
Marshall: Unless you include me tripping on that chew toy!
Pups: (chuckles)
(elevator goes up and the pups line up with Chase in his spy gear)
Chase: Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder-
(pup-pad rings)
Ryder: (notices Everest's badge on screen) Everest? (brings her image on the big screen) Something wrong, Everest?
Everest: (shouts) Ryder, if you can hear me open all the observatory doors immediately! Also I think my ears aren't working right either after those two pups in the Frog Pond sent me flying! (worried) Please hurry!
Marshall: (notices a flying Everest headed right for them) Ryder, do it! (points to Everest flying toward them)
Other pups: (shocked gasps)
Ryder: (notices her) On it!
Mason: Mirage, please inflate so you can cushion Everest, also make your tummy adhesive so she won't bounce off and hit a wall by mistake!
Mirage: Aye aye! (inhales to inflate herself)
(scene changes to Everest covering her eyes)
Everest: (whimpering) This is gonna hurt!
(Everest flies through an open observatory door while covering her eyes)
Sound: (boing)
(scene changes to inside the Lookout where Everest is stuck to Mirage's large inflated belly)
Everest: (opens her eyes) Oh! (shouts) Thanks guys!
Chase: Everest you don't have to shout!
Everest: (shouts) I can't hear you!
Marshall: Something must be wrong with her hearing!
Everest: (shouts) What about herring?
Liberty: Mirage, can you magically fix her ears?
Everest: (shouts) What about deer?
Mirage: Hold on! (deflates herself causing Everest slides off her now no longer adhesive belly) (paw on Everest's head) (telepathically to Everest and out loud to everyone else) I'm gonna use my magic to fix your sense of hearing!
Everest: (nods) Thank you Mirage! Also thanks for speaking telepathically so I could understand properly!
Mirage: (smiles and nods then prepares to work her magic)
(one magical fix later)
Everest: (feels her ears) Hm?
Marshall: Everest, can you hear me?
Everest: (smiles) Yes! (hugs Mirage) Thank you for fixing my ears and also cushioning me Mirage!
Mirage: Aww, your welcome! (embraces Everest's hug)
Everest: (to Ryder) Everest reporting for action Ryder sir!
Liberty: Everest, you're kinda a little underdressed!
Everest: (notices herself) Oops! I forgot! I'll be right back! (rushes to the elevators and goes down)
(moments later)
Everest: (arrives in uniform) Okay, now I'm ready! (to Liberty) (shyly) Liberty, could I please sit beside Marshall?
Liberty: (chuckles) Sure girl! (moves over letting Everest sit between them)
Everest: (touched) Thanks!
Liberty: No problem girl!
Chase: Okay not the Paw Patrol is ready for action, Ryder sir!
Ryder: Well there is good news pup one part of the mission is already complete!
Pups except Everest: (confused) Huh?
Everest: (raises paw) It was me having an unexpected flight guys! (sighs) I wish I had my grappling hook then I could've prevented myself from being send flying away from Mr. Porter and Alex!
Ryder: Everest is right pups, she was part of the mission but we've still gotta get Mr. Porter and Alex from a tree and figure out what's in the Frog Pond while finding the little frogs! So I need two teams one to find the missing frogs and another to help at the Frog Pond!
Pups: (nods)
Ryder: First I need Spy Chase and your night vision goggles to search the pond for clues!
Chase: Spy Chase is on the chase!
Ryder: Next I'll need Marshall your ladder can help Mr. Porter and Alex get down from the tree they're in!
Marshall: I'm ready for a ruff ruff rescue!
Ryder: Everest, can you help us find Mr. Porter and Alex in the woods!
Everest: Off the trail, Everest won't fail!
Ryder: Good to hear! Skye and Liberty, can you both look for the missing frogs?
Liberty: Liberty reporting for duty!
Skye: This pup's gotta fly!
Ryder: (nods) Paw Patrol is on a roll!
Pups: (howling)
Ryder: (runs past Mason and Mirage who mysteriously vanish without a trace then goes down the fireman pole)
(Everest and Marshall deployment sequences)
(the pups ride off with Skye and Liberty going in a different direction as the scene changes to the Lookout with Rubble, Zuma, and Rocky)
Rubble: Say did anyone else notice Mason and Mirage vanish after Ryder ran past them?
Zuma: Yeah! I bet he and Mirage went off to follow one of the groups!
Rubble: Yeah! (unsure) But which one?
Rocky: Lucky guess, they're headed to the Frog Pond!
Zuma and Rubble: (nods) Fair point!
(scene changes to Everest leading the others to the campsite and Chase uses his drone to search for the Porters)
Everest: (looks around) Odd?
Ryder: Is something wrong, Everest?
Everest: Melody was here too, where'd she go?
Melody: (exits the nearby bushes) Sorry dear, just taking a bathroom break!
Everest: I'm glad you're okay!
Ryder: So what brings you here Melody?
Everest: She kinda surprised and spooked us at the camp out after Mr. Porter told a spooky story! (blushes) She kinda spooked me a little too well!
Ryder: Something wrong Everest?
Everest: (shyly) Promise not to laugh if I tell you?
Ryder and Marshall: (nods) We promise!
Chase: (nods) Same
Everest: I might have peed myself when she spooked us, let's just say her intimidating voice was very effective! Also she wiped Alex and Mr. Porter's memories of just that moment!
Melody: (nods)
Marshall: (walks over and hugs Everest) It's okay Everest, they kinda are a little too good at the spooking thing!
Mason and Mirage: (walk out of the shadows) Hi guys!
All but Melody: (startled) (screams) AAAHH!
Mirage: Sorry, we just wanted to see if we could lend a hand or paw!
Ryder: Much appreciated guys!
Chase: Ryder, I found Alex and Mr. Porter in that tree! (points to it) Follow me! (leads the way as Marshall follows in his fire truck)
(scene changes to Mr. Porter and Alex climbing down Marshall's ladder)
Mr. Porter and Alex: Thanks Paw Patrol!
Mr. Porter: (pets Everest) I'm glad you okay too Everest!
Everest: Besides my hearing being messed up then fixed by Mirage, I'm okay!
Alex: It was kinda hard for me to hear grandpa after that flight!
Mr. Porter: Yeah, but it returned to normal after Melody arrived!
Melody: I might have secretly fixed your hearing after I arrived! (curiously) Why didn't you just ask me to levitate or teleport you both to the ground?
Mr. Porter and Alex: (realizes) (embarrassed) Oh!
Mr. Porter: We might have forgotten you could do that, (embarrassed) again!
Everest: Now we should deal with those phantoms in the Frog Pond!
Others: Yeah!
(scene changes to the group approaching the Frog Pond)
Everest: (worried) I hope this is better than last time?
Alex: Everest, what happened to you after you flew away?
Everest: I was kinda surprised that I was hurtling toward the Lookout and also thankful Mirage used her inflated tummy to catch me!
Mirage: No problem Everest!
(the group arrives at the Frog Pond)
Sound: (bubbling)
Everest: (worried) Uh oh! We heard bubbling before they showed up!
Mason: (holding the Sphere of Yun) (quietly to Melody) Can you make it ghost proof so they can't phase through, girl?
Melody: (winks) Just one time, you'll need to ask if you wanna do it again!
Mason: Thanks girl!
(two shadowy pups emerge from the pond)
Both pups: Who dares intrude on our- (notices) You again? With others? Prepare to be blown aw-
Mason's voice: Sphere of Yun!
(flash of light and both unknown pups are trapped in the Sphere of Yun)
Both pups: (surprised) What!?
(both try getting out but can't)
Mason: Looks like we've caught you pups!
Slightly bigger pup: I request you release me and my daughter right now, please?
Mason: (walks over) Permission to talk peacefully and no screams?
Slightly bigger pup: (sighs) (nods) We promise!
Mason: Sphere of Yun!
(flash of light and scene changes to the group including both pups from the pond around the Porter's campfire)
Ryder: Okay, who are you two?
Slightly bigger pup: (sighs) I'm Shriek and this is my daughter Screech, we're banshee pups! The only ones of our kinds! But we did find this! (reveals a scroll) A scroll for making banshee pups, but we don't understand it very well?
Mason: Pardon me Shriek, but why did you send our friends flying?
Shriek: (looks at Everest, Alex, and Mr. Porter) I'm sorry, we had no idea you were good guys!
Screech: Mom and I were only on the defensive since we had no idea if you were gonna hurt us! (hugs her mom)
Shriek: (nods)
Everest: It's understandable, but what were you doing in the Frog Pond?
Shriek: Frog Pond? (realizes) Oh, that pond we were in, we were only trying to find a place to rest for a while! We're both just lost and alone in this world! (hugs Screech)
Melody: (hugs Mirage) I can understand a mother wanting to protect her precious child!
Shriek: (smiles at Melody who understands her protective motherly nature)
Everest: What about the scream?
Shriek: Just a sonic howl mixed with a banshee pup scream! Might cause a little trouble hearing for a while though!
Mr. Porter, Alex, and Everest: Yeah!
Melody: Me and my daughter reversed its effects on them!
Screech: Mom and I were just looking for a nice place to call home!
Shriek: And maybe for folks we can call friends! (nuzzles her daughter)
Everest: We'd be happy to call you friends, if you don't use that scream on us?
Shriek: (smiles) I can't make much promises on the screams though dear, but we'd be touched to be friends!
Screech: (nods) Yeah!
Mason: Say, how do you think Skye and Liberty are doing Ryder?
Ryder: (remembers) Oh! I'd better check!
(scene changes to Skye and Liberty outside City Hall with the little frogs)
Liberty: Come on little frogs, time to get you home!
Ryder's voice: Liberty, Skye, who's it going?
Skye: Good news we found the frogs, bad news they won't leave Mayor Goodway's flower garden! So how are things at the pond Ryder?
Ryder's voice: Well good news we found who sent everyone flying. but they only did it in self defense while pretending to be mean and scary!
Liberty: Who?
Ryder's voice: Just mother and daughter banshee pups!
Skye: (surprised) Whoa! Banshee pups, that's a new one!
Ryder: I'll send Marshall over to help out like last time!
Marshall's voice: On my way girls!
(scene changes to Marshall leading the frogs back to their pond safe and sound)
Mr. Porter: Thanks Paw Patrol for saving us and the little frogs!
Ryder: No problem Mr. Porter, whenever you're in trouble just scream for help!
Others: (chuckles)
Melody: (to Banshee pups) Girls, I know a much better place you could call home!
Shriek: (surprised) You do?
Melody: (smiles and nods) Yep! Just wait and see!
(scene flips to hours later showing Mason, Melody, Mirage, Shriek, and Screech in Mason archipelago universe)
Shriek: Wow!
Screech: I agree mommy!
Mason: Welcome to my home, girls! You're more than welcome to stay here!
Shriek: (touched) You'd be okay with a pair of ghostly banshee pups?
Mason: (chuckles) Yep! There's plenty of unique magic pups we kindly brought back and adopted!
Shriek and Screech: (smile upon hearing that)
Mason: Mind if I check the scroll?
Shriek: Sure! (hands it to Mason)
Mason: (opens the scroll) So why can't you understand it?
Shriek: (points to the part about a banshee pup howl) The banshee pup howl is confusing to us!
Screech: (nods)
Mason: I'm pretty sure you just need a banshee pup to howl for the magic to work!
Shriek: (eyes widen) (chuckles) So that's what it meant! If only I knew that sooner!
Mason: I can also have this one duplicated too if you'd like?
Shriek: To be honest, I only hang onto that for safe keeping but now... you're more than welcome to hold onto it!
(Seam and Skelita's families walk over)
Seam: Hi!
Skelita: Hello!
Shriek: (surprised) Whoa!
Seam: So are you a ghost pup?
Shriek: (shyly) Actually my daughter and I are banshee pups!
Skelita: Ooh! Very interesting! Also it's nice meeting another undead-like pup or two!
Shriek: (blushes) Aww, thanks!
Seam: So would you like us to show you girls around?
Screech: Can we mom?
Skelita: There's also a free all you can eat buffet for pups!
Shriek and Screech: (stomach growls) I guess a tour would be nice, if you're okay with it?
Seam: (smiles) Sure! But how about we visit the buffet first?
Shriek and Screech: (smile and chuckles) We'd be happy too!
(Shriek and Screech walk off with the zombie and skeleton pups bonding with them)
Melody: (smiles) I think they'll like it here!
Mason: I can agree with you on that girls!
Mirage: Yep!
Mason: (kneels down and hugs Melody and Mirage) Come here girls!
Mirage and Melody affectionately hug Mason as a frog-shaped iris-out occurs before slowly going to black)
Mirage's voice: Froggy?
Mason's voice: I thought I'd be interesting!
Melody and Mirage's voices: True! (giggles)
