Back in the dorm, Jamil sat on the floor, laughing while students stand around, waiting for his commands. "Bring on the food! Bring on the drinks!" He happily says as students nod, acknowledging his commands. "Today we celebrate the disposal of the old, useless king, and the crowning of a far more deserving successor!" He says as he gets up and walks toward the balcony, leaning on the railing. "Ahhh, I'm on top of the world. I've got all the magic I could ever want at my fingertips."
"I couldn't agree more, Master," a student says, agreeing with him.
"You are the most fit to be king of Scarabia, Jamil," another student says.
"Long live Master Jamil!" A student exclaims.
"Ha ha ha!" Jamil laughs. "Thaaat's it. Go on, keep singing my praises." He closes his eyes.
"I never realized what a gallant figure you cut..." Azul states.
"Oho?" Jamil says in interest.
"You oughta LIVE on a throne..." Grim adds.
"And?" Jamil smiles.
"Your intelligence is beyond compare..." Jade adds.
"Go on," Jamil says.
"There's royalty, and then there's YOU..." Floyd adds.
"You look so strong and powerful!" Kalim says.
"I prostrate myself before you," Angel says.
Jamil smiles at the compliments. "Heh, you flatter me..." He opens his eyes, seeing that the six were in front of him. "Wait, it's YOU?!" He exclaims in shock. "I sent you to the ends of this dimension! How did you get back so fast?"
"I filled a dry river with water and we swan back," Kalim states.
"Not that it was a cakewalk, I'll tell ya," Floyd groans. "I'm pretty worn out!"
"What?!" Jamil angrily exclaims. "Tch...Now I see," he glares at the six. "You used Kalim's signature spell. Hmph," he smirks. "So your little trick had a use after all, and he I'd written it off as a worthless spell only good for watering plants or filling a pool."
"Heh. You clearly don't appreciate Kalim's power for what it is, then," Azul states.
Kalim looks at Jamil. "Jamil...Now I see what you've thought of me all this time. There can be no question now. You're a coward and a traitor!" He declares.
Jamil only scoffs at the declaration and smirks. "Fool. That's what you get for trusting me blindly."
"Face me in combat," Kalim declares. "I'll win back the housewarden seat you've stolen from me."
"You accuse ME of stealing?" Jamil asks, offended by the statement. "Hmph! How dare you. YOU'RE the one who stole everything from ME!" The air around the lounge started to get heavier, black mist and electricity starting to gather around Jamil. "Now you shall witness my true power! AAAAAAAH HA HA HA HA!" The figure from before starts to appear behind him.
The five rise their guard at Jamil, preparing their pens. "Angel," Kalim says, "You have to stay back while we deal with Jamil!"
"That would be the best idea," Azul adds. "After all, you are the key piece to helping Jamil restore his senses." Angel nods and walks away, hiding behind a pillar, trying to avoid any danger. "Now then gentlemen and Grim," Azul says as he looks at Jamil. "Shall we help our dear classmate to come back to his senses?"
"Yes, sir. / Yes sir!" Jade and Floyd say as they ready their pens.
Jamil smirks at the five. "Cower before my might!" He says as prepares a spell, the ground starting to rumble. "Phenomenal...cosmic...power!" The figure behind him roars as Jamil releases the spell, pillars of magic coming from the ground, the five dodging out of the way to avoid them.
"Gyaaah!" Grim screams as he sees the figure. "This is still one scary monster!"
"I'll knock some sense back into him!" Kalim shouts as he releases a spell towards Jamil, only for the figure behind him to cover him, taking the attack while Jamil laughs. Jamil releases another spell, this time, a sphere started to form, and coming out of the sphere were what look to be spells that look like tentacles appear and aim at the five. Grim was able to dodge them, but as he dodged it, they changed direction, heading his way, making him surprised as the spell hit him, sending him back. Seeing this, the twins decided to put up a shield around them and Azul, and Azul carefully aimed his pen, sending fire spells towards the tentacles, each one hitting the tentacles with precision as they cease to exist. For Kalim, he was able to dodge them at the right time, sending spells to hit them as soon as they passed him. Jamil looked at the sight and growled in anger, not expecting them to didge the spell and the figure behind him slammed its hand on the ground, causing them to stumble with the shaking. Jamil sees this and releases the spell again; each was able to summon a shield in time before the spell hit them.
Jamil laughed at their attempt. "I am the true ruler of Scarabia!" He shouts as a wave of magic starts to appear around the five, summoning a spell big enough before a bolt of lighting heads their way, barely holding on before the lighting went away, just in time for the shield to break.
Azul grunts at the effort. "How much power has he been hiding all this time?" He says as he looks at Jamil.
"I...I refuse to give up!" Kalim says as he stands up, sending sharp wind spells towards Jamil, cutting the air around Jamil, attacking the figure instead. The figure falls and Jamil angrily looks at Kalim, the magic around the five starting to wane.
"Now's our chance, Floyd," Jade says as he and Floyd shoots water and fire spells at Jamil, seeing that his guard was lowered. Jamil looked at the twins, and the snakes aimed towards them, in which Azul was able to slice them with ease with his spell, hitting each snake perfectly. While Jamil was distracted with the twins and Azul's attack, Grim shot a fireball at Jamil, stopping right at his feet, creating a wall of fire in front of him. Jamil stepped back in surprise, not expecting the wall of fire in front of him while Kalim summoned another wind spell, this time, bending the wind around Jamil, sending the fire to react into a tornado of flames, burning Jamil. Jamil screams, summoning a quick spell to protect himself, but the figure behind him suffered the most, becoming covered in flames. Azul use this distraction as an advantage, using his precision to attack Jamil at his weak spots, making him weaken the shield, just in time for the fire to let out. Jamil look at the five in anger, only to barely block himself from the attack the twins and Grim shot at him, with Kalim dodging the spells. Jamil screams as he releases a spell, the turning into whips, hitting the ground, trying to hit the others. The other's brace for impact, dodging while attacking, seeing that the whips weren't as powerful, but can see that as time goes on, it's slowly losing its effect.
"Looks like he's becoming desparate," Azul states as he easily dodges a tentacle, seeing that the others were just wildly attacking compared to their precision before. "It seems like we're weakening him effectively.
"Then let's just finish this so we can get it over with," Floyd says as he summons a freezing spell on a tentacle, the tentacle starting to freeze in place.
"Then let's not waste anymore time," Jade states as he summons a spell. "His magic reserves are starting to wear out and we still need him conscious."
"Right!" Kalim agrees, summoning a spell as well. "Let's do it together and bring him down in one hit!"
"No no no no no!" Jamil says as he sees the others preparing for a spell. "I WILL NOT LOSE THIS!" He says as he releases a spell, lighting starting to strike the five, but even with how powerful it was, the attack misses, and screams, seeing that the others have finished preparing the spells and release them. "NO NO NO NO NO!" He shouts as a barrage of spells starting to head towards him, quickly summoning a shield, only to fall victim to some of the spells, screaming in pain as he's hit, kneeling as the attack finishes, leaving the group spent.
"He's finally down..." Grim groans as he looks at Jamil kneeling. "Angel! That's your cue!"
"Got it," Angel says as he heads towards Jamil, seeing that Kalim was looking at her, seeing that he was smiling at her, making her confused.
"I know you'll bring him back, Angel!" Kalim says, making her a bit surprised. "If it's a Purifier like you, then it'll be fine!"
The statement shocks her, not expecting Kalim to know. "Uh...sure, Kalim," she says, continuing to head to Jamil, still shocked by Kalim's statement, but trying to focus on the task at hand. She stops in front of Jamil, and Jamil looks up, seeing that she was giving him a sympathetic expression. He looks down, the ink starting to swirl around the two. "I was finally going to be number one..." Jamil says as the ink start to cover the two. "I was finally going...to be free..." Jamil quietly says as the ink covers the two, leaving the five alone as they see the sphere of ink around the two close.
The five release a sigh of relief, seeing that the battle was finally over. "Finally," Floyd groans. "Sea Snake sure did give us a run for money, huh?"
"You don't hafta tell me twice!" Grim groans as he sits down. "I'm still hurt from that spell!"
"Amazing how you're the only one who got hit while we're perfectly fine, more or less," Jade states, making Grim groan.
"As much as we can relax, we can't lower our guard just yet," Azul says as he looks at the sphere of ink in front of them. "We must wait to see what Jamil will be after Angel deals with him."
Grim smirks. "You ain't gotta worry about that! Angel never fails, and she's not gonna fail now!"
