It had been two months now, Kino had given her a phone so they could constantly be in contact when he was out. They also would play games together as well, trying to out do one another and compete in tournaments together to see who was better. She enjoyed the time that she had with Kino.
It felt highly strange to her, especially since she hadn't ever felt so safe with someone else before. Kino made her feel so much stranger than she'd ever felt before, she didn't know whether it was a good thing or not but she was happy to be around Kino. Kino gave her a sense of hope that she never had before.
Kino would always sleep beside her and when they played games together he would have his legs on either side of her and have his arms around her. It was something that she found very strange at first since she hadn't ever felt so close to someone before, but she was happy that Kino was taking time out of his life for her.
One night though, she couldn't sleep, even though Kino had fallen asleep. She just couldn't, too much weighed on her mind. He wouldn't let her sleep without him beside her and with his arms around her waist so he knew she was safe. He told her it was to keep her safe, but wondered if he ever truly gave her the truth about how he felt about her.
Even though she adored being against his chest and feeling so safe with him, something that she hadn't truly felt anywhere else she didn't know if what she felt was love or not. She was still highly confused and didn't know how to go about breaking down her problem to solve it.
"Stop overthinking and sleep." Kino murmured to her.
He then buried his face against her neck as he moved closer to her. She sighed as she closed her eyes. "Kino...do you love me?"
Hearing those words Kino opened his eyes and he looked to her. "Why are you asking me that? Can't you sleep without coming out of the blue with random questions like that?"
She frowned at him. "I...I was just curious...T-That's all. You sleep by me every night, keep me close to you when you aren't here and you get hissy when I sleep when you don't. It just confuses me a lot."
Kino knew that he had been caught and flicked her forehead making her whine out. "Shut up and just sleep alright? We'll talk in the morrow." He said before he held her in his arms once more, that time more tighter than before.
Taki didn't know what to do or say so she just did as he asked and ended up falling asleep a bit afterwards. When she woke up she saw that Kino wasn't beside her, that was something that was natural for her to wake up to. What she didn't expect is to see a new school uniform at the end of the bed along with a note.
She got the note and read it to herself. "Today you will resume school, don't worry I'll be right beside you. No one will harm you or speak to you without me having first say."
She sighed and placed the note down before she placed the uniform on. Afterwards she brushed her hair and grabbed her phone before she went down the hall and steps to see Kino was waiting for her. "Good it fits you, I'm glad that it does. Come now before we're late."
"Alright Kino." Taki said with a nod
Taki left out with him and she stayed by his side the entire drive to the human world. He kept her mind occupied with a game, which worked. She was too into the game to see that they had come to the school. He made her look up only for her eyes to widen, she knew the school to be the place where she knew his brothers went. She looked to him sadly only to have him smile at her. "Don't worry, it'll be alright, I'm right here and I'm not going to let anything happen to you."
She nodded her head slightly. "Alright then, thank you Kino."
The two of them left the car and he walked her in, he kept his arm around her as they went through the hall only to be halted by the triplets who all looked peeved at Taki.
"So you finally show, do you have any idea how much we've been worried sick about you Taki?! Do you?!" Kanato said angered
"It's not right for a woman like you to keep yourself hiding from your one and only like that. You're coming with us now." Ayato said as he grabbed her by her arm only for Kino to step in
He pulled Taki into him by her waist and smirked at the trio. "Now I see why she ran off on the three of you. To think the lot of you treated her like garbage and for what? Just to keep yourselves from showing your true nature. She isn't like any other woman you boys have been graced with yet you treat her just the same. For once why don't you ask her what she wants instead of taking control of her life."
Taki was surprised by the words Kino said and gave him a small smile before she looked to the triplets and frowned. Kanato was sick of waiting and he grabbed taki only for her to slap him hard on the face before she hid herself behind Kino holding on to his shirt tightly.
"I'm not going with you three. NONE of you really care about me, none of you treat me like I'm supposed to be treated. Instead I'm treated like a human woman. I'm not human I'm a founder so if you boys truly want me treat me with the respect that I deserve like Kino has!" Taki said sadly as she shook her head
Kino gave her a toothy grin before he looked to his brothers who all glared at him. "What have you done to brainwash our Taki? She was perfectly fine with how we've treated her up to half a year ago!" Kanato growled
"Guys settle down, obviously Taki has gone through a lot. Tell us Taki where have you been all this time? Where did you run off to?" Laito asked
"I didn't run off, I was kidnapped by the Mukami brothers along with that whore woman you boys have been using. But that lasted only as long as I thought that it would only two or so months before I found my true brothers. Carla and Shin, both are founders that wanted nothing more than to keep the founders from dying out. But two months ago..well that changed when my eldest brother took that woman and told her three words that he never once spoke to me. Even though Kino kidnapped me from Carla and Shin...I'm glad he had. Otherwise I would have probably killed myself." Taki said sadly
"That'll explain a bit Taki, you have had Ruki and I concerned about you." She heard Yuma say from behind her.
She said nothing to Yuma as she placed herself closer to Kino. He was expecting a few more people to actually show before he would speak to Taki about what he truly wanted her there for. Laito sighed as he crossed his arms. "You must have been jealous and heartbroken, the same woman getting close to people that you cared for, making those you cared about turn their backs on you."
Taki said nothing to him and looked up to Kino. "C-Can we go...please?"
"Not yet, I asked someone who should have been close to you to meet me here." Kino said shaking his head
She frowned and held onto him tightly until she heard the familiar voice of Carla as he walked up to them. "Taki, there you are. What are you doing with that Sakamaki vampire?" Carla said irate
"Carla, remember my threat to you...you wouldn't want that to happen do you?" Kino said with a smirk on his face.
His golden eyes narrowed at Kino. "What's going on here? Why is my sister so close to you?"
"Now that everyone that I knew cared supposedly for Taki is here, I'm going to explain everything." He said before he pulled Taki in front of him and wrapped his arms around her waist. "As of two weeks ago she has been my girlfriend, none of you boys have been truly kind and truthful to her. You boys don't know how to treat her well. I've watched her suffer through the centuries and seen her many tears. You lot have been the most cause of them...so because of it she is no longer any one of yours to claim. She is mine and mine alone, none of you will ever see her after tonight, where I am keeping her only one man knows and he swore to keep it to himself."
Taki blushed as she heard Kino speak, even though his words shocked her. She never once agreed to be with him..unless that's what he was talking about two weeks ago. Now thinking about it, she was ninety nine percent sure that's what he was talking about.
"Hey Taki, tell me...if I were say...be with you romantically would you let me?"
"Hm? Well yeah of course Kino. You're sweeter and kinder than any male I've been around so far. Sure you kidnapped me but I know why you did it and I'm thankful for it."
"Good, I'm glad to hear that you think that way of me."
Kanato, Ayato and Carla all glared at the duo. "SHE'LL NEVER BE YOURS! SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN OURS GIVE HER BACK!" Kanato yelled angered
Kino chuckled a bit. "Not going to happen. Taki dear, would you want to go back to my brothers?"
She shook her head sadly, she had no good reason to do so, they gave her no good reason to be in that manor of hell. "I want to stay with you, that's where I feel safest."
"Taki...what have you done to yourself? I know you were pregnant before...what did you do?" Carla asked
"That's none of your concerned. You used my body for three months straight never once ever uttering the words 'I love you' to me, but being with a wench like Yui and those words get uttered on the first night. I should have known that you felt nothing for a woman like me. I've never been the one you wanted huh? I was only in your life to pass the time wasn't I?" Taki said seriously
Carla frowned. "Taki...please let me-" He said before she placed her hand out.
"No don't even big brother. I don't want to hear it." Taki said shaking her head
Yuma only looked to her sadly. "Taki, I never meant to bring you harm, if anything...I was just trying to keep you from being harmed."
"Yeah well that never worked, I still got hurt. I'm done with being in pain because of assholes like you boys. Kino has been nothing more than a gentleman to me and I'm happy to have met him and be able to get to know him like I have." Taki said with a sigh
"Taki you might wish to think over what you are doing to yourself before you consider what you are." Taki heard Reiji said from behind the triplets, beside him was Shu and Subaru.
"Oh great, now the entire fuck-me family is here. But you've all made this easier on me. I've had a lot of time to think about what I've gone through over the last year or so. Out of all of you I've only truly loved one of you and that has been Shu, he gave me the hope of being able to live a normal life once more. Showing me a safe haven where I met a woman who I thought would be a good role model for me only for her to end up being a fluke in the end. But Shu, you never could bring yourself to love me, you only ever came to me when you wanted something from me be it sex or my blood just like your brothers Laito, Ayato, Kanato and Subaru. I'm sick and tired of the abuse and hurt from all of you. Being that I've lived there all of my life I've never once ever truly realized how much I was suffering until I met Kino. He taught me a lot about how I'm supposed to be treated. Even though he has the same last name as the lot of you, he's actually a gentleman and knows how to treat a lady" Taki said seriously
Kino was actually pretty shocked that she was able to say so much against his brothers and those she had lived with first, but it didn't show. Instead he gave her a grin and held her tighter against him.
Reiji walked up to her and pushed his glasses up. "Are you sure you wish to be with a man like him after all you've went through with us?"
She scoff. "You mean the torment, pain and being ignored for human women like I'm nothing? Yeah I'm totally sure. Nothing any of you will say will make me ever want to go back to the six of you."
"Ti-Ti! There you are!" Kou said happily as he, Ruki and Azusa walked up beside Yuma.
Taki growled a bit. "DON'T call me that you messed up blond brat! I've told you before that's not my name!
