"Oh my God, look at that tan!" you gasp when Tony sits down on his sun bed.
His already short swimsuit rolled further up his thigh and revealed the significant colour difference on his skin.
"The sun likes me" he smiles proudly.
"Everyone likes you" you also smile.
"I strongly disagree" he chuckles.
"Whoever doesn't is an idiot" you say.
"And now I strongly agree" he stands up and joins you on your own sun bed.
"Of course you do" your hand rests on his thigh.
He instantly smirks and leans down towards you to kiss your lips. Your sunglasses bump into one another, slightly bothering you, but none of you care enough to stop the precious moment.
"Will you give me a hand with the tanning oil?" you ask him as soon as your lips part.
Your faces are still very close, you can practically feel the smirk forming on his lips. It's no surprise that this is his reaction, you weren't expecting him to turn down an offer like this one.
"My pleasure" he says.
You make a move to reach for the spray in order to spread it on your front side but Tony stops you and grabs it himself with determination.
"Your hands won't get dirty when you have me around" he says.
"What a gentleman" you grin.
"You know me" his hands start spreading the liquid on your skin.
He starts off with your legs, followed by your arms and shoulders, giving you a good massage at the same time. His fingers always feel so good against your skin, it's not a surprise. Then he does the same to your stomach slowly, making sure you feel comfortable with his movements.
"Is this okay?" he carefully asks about moving up to your cleavage.
"Of course it is" you reassure him and softly touch his one arm.
He slowly covers your cleavage with the oil, but it's much deeper than just that. It's another sign that you feel more and more comfortable with his hands around you. That's the progress he likes to see, it makes him so happy.
"Don't be scared to touch me" you advise him once you've rolled on your back.
"As long as you feel comfortable with all this" he says and makes you smile.
Before he spreads any oil on your back, he leans down and places a handful of soft meaningful kisses down your spine. That's a feeling you've definitely missed, the way your body shivers under his kisses.
"You're so beautiful, do you know that?" he murmurs as he gets back to work.
"I like the reminder" you giggle.
"You're going to get tired of hearing it" he jokes about it.
"I doubt that" you slightly shake your head.
He keeps on massaging your back with the tanning oil nicely and the timing comes that he approaches your hips. You can tell he's skeptical about touching you, afraid of making you uncomfortable or of bringing back any unwanted memories of the past.
"I told you, it's okay" you give him the reassurance that he needs.
You can't see him but you're sure he nodded his head. His hands automatically move up your legs until they touch your hips. This time he's not pausing like earlier, instead he continues his path and feels you with both of his palms.
"I missed your touch" you admit to him.
"It feels nice, doesn't it?" he asks happily while massaging you.
"Yes, it does" you don't hide your satisfaction.
After a few seconds, he's finally made sure that you're completely comfortable under his touch. That's why he can't resist his inner urges and he starts squeezing your skin a bit more than before. Of course that doesn't annoy you, nor it bothers you. You love that he's finally taking some steps by himself without asking your permission, it shows you that he can feel you're comfortable around him.
"I love you so much" he lays on top of your body and says next to your ear.
"I love you, too" you laugh, feeling his body weight and the way that he repeatedly kisses your cheek.
His hands hug your body and turn you on your sides so that you can share the sun bed and also so that he's not putting all his weight on you. Apparently, he doesn't care about having oil all over his body by having you so close to him. It's such a sweet moment between you two, admiring the sun and the beauty of the landscape.
"Excuse me, I have to take this" he apologises when his phone starts ringing.
He gets up and walks a little bit away to speak, just enough for you to not hear him. You can tell by his seriousness and body language that it's a professional phone call. You're not exactly sure about what he's been working on but you can imagine it has something to do with Ethan.
"Sorry" he apologises again when he's back.
"You're always on your phone lately" you say.
"I know, but it's for a good reason, I promise" he takes a seat next to you and takes your hand in his.
"I know it's about Ethan, just tell me already" you sigh.
He starts to say something but closes his mouth before words actually come out of it. He then looks into your eyes for a few seconds, the eye contact being very intense.
"I am trying to accomplish something big, but until I'm sure it's going to work, I don't want to give you false hopes" he says honestly.
"You'll not give me false hopes. I trust you and I see that you're planning something. Maybe I can even help you somehow" you take your sunglasses off to look at him better.
"I just don't want to disappoint you again" he does the same.
"You are definitely not disappointing me right now. I love how you're fighting for me" your body leans into his and you place a very soft kiss on his lips that leaves him with closed eyes even after it's over.
"Alright. I'm approaching EastSide Corporations. I know that since you left your position there's a lot of chaos at Lewis Industries. This is the best opportunity to steal one of their biggest clients" he explains to you.
"No, you shouldn't go against one of the biggest" you grab his hand tighter.
"You think this will backfire?" he asks seriously.
"It won't, this is a great idea. I just mean that you should aim higher" a slight smile appears on your lips and he creases his eyebrows.
"What do you mean exactly?" he asks, confused.
"Why go after one of the biggest clients when you can go after the biggest?" you look into his eyes.
"You mean InnovaTech?" he's still uncertain.
"Yes" you agree.
That's the biggest client of Lewis Industries. More than 50% of income comes between the two of them. While you were working there you managed a big amount of the transactions and deals, you know them very well.
"They'll never side with us. They've been with Lewis for decades, no matter what offer I make it will be declined. It's a suicide mission" he says.
"I would totally agree with you under any other circumstances, but... like you said, there's chaos around Lewis Industries. I was handling most of the deals and now you have me by your side. I'd say your chances are significantly higher than any other given moment" you can't hide your enthusiasm.
"This-This could really work" he processes everything.
"How confident are you about your negotiating skills?" you smirk.
"With you around, I'd say 100%" he smiles.
"Then I'd suggest that we enjoy these days of vacation because we have to go back soon and make our move" you say.
"Absolutely" he sounds happier than ever.
He brings his lips against yours and during the kiss he progressively pushes you back until you're lying on the sun bed with his body on top of yours. Excitement is peaking, blood is rushing and adrenaline is running through your veins. Without even a second thought, his hand is nicely wrapped around your neck, deepening the kiss at its fullest and making both your experience even hotter than it already was.
