Min's pov
"I don't think it means any harm, it seems to like Tae. That's a good thing, isn't it?" I said, I patted Jimin to let me down but he was hesitant to let me go. Taehyung bent down slowly in front of the puppy and held out his hand for it to sniff, the puppy took a second before sniffing Tae's hand. It then yipped happily and licked Tae's index finger, causing the young man to smile. "Yeah, it's a good thing." Jimin smiled as he looked at the puppy. "See, he means no harm." I looked back at the oldest four members of our group, none of them looked the slightest bit convinced that this puppy was harmless and I don't blame them. Hoseok looked concerned about the puppy but I could tell that he wanted to pet the puppy, just as much as I wanted to. The puppy barked and rushed over to Taehyung, who slowly reached out and picked him up. Once he had him in his arms, the puppy went crazy and started licking Tae on the nose. "Aww, that's so cute!" I squealed, "Is it a boy or a girl, Tae?" Hoseok asked, Taehyung held the puppy away from his face and looked underneath the puppy. "It's a boy." He smiled, "Tae, do you really think it's a good idea to hold that puppy? What if its mother comes out here and finds you holding her baby? She might think that you are trying to harm it." Jin questioned, I don't think anyone thought that Taehyung touching this small puppy was a good idea. Taehyung only giggled, his smile becoming wider and boxy as the puppy licked him on the face. I smiled as I watched him interact with the puppy, it was just so cute. At that moment, I couldn't believe how handsome Taehyung really was. The way his eyes lit up when he held that puppy, the boxy smile that was so wide. He is really handsome. "Ooh, I wanna pet him! Can I?" I asked Taehyung, who nodded and held the puppy towards me. I let out a giggle as the puppy started licking my nose while I was petting him, "See, he even likes Min. I don't think he's dangerous." Jimin smiled as I giggled like a child and it seemed he wasn't the only one who enjoyed my reaction, both Jungkook and Jimin seemed to enjoy my giggling. Taehyung pulled the puppy away from me, making me pout as I wanted to pet it some more. He held the puppy close to him and from the look on the older members of our group, it seemed that they didn't trust this puppy at all.
"Tae, I really think you should put the puppy down." Jin stated. I could see that he was very uneasy about the puppy Taehyung was holding, he wasn't the only one either.
"Yeah, I agree with Jin hyung on this, Tae. I don't think it's safe to bring this puppy with us. Who knows what the parents will do if it finds their baby missing." Namjoon crossed his arms, he stepped forward slightly towards Jin. "Tae, put the puppy down." Taehyung shook his head defiantly and held the puppy away from Jin, "Taehyung," Jin warned but Taehyung refused, the puppy let out a growl sensing that he was about to be taken away from Taehyung. Jin was slightly startled by the growl but didn't think much of it, Jimin and I on the other hand, thought that the growl was a warning.
"Uh, Hyung.. I don't -" Jin cut Jimin off and went to reach again and this time, the puppy snapped. He let out a loud bark and fire shot out of his mouth, freaking everyone out. Hoseok and Jin both let out a loud yelp as Namjoon pulled Jungkook back, Yoongi immediately grabbed Jin and pulled him back while Jimin moved me away from Taehyung and the puppy. Taehyung stood there staring at the puppy in shock, while the rest of us were fearing for our safety. And not once did Taehyung make a move, it looked as if he was scared of putting the puppy down on the account that he could breathe fire again.
How the fuck does the puppy breathe fire?!! Like what the actual fuck?! This is just insane! I knew this puppy wasn't normal! No normal puppy can spew fire balls at people!! This is wild! Thank god for Yoongi's quick thinking, he got Jin and himself to safety.
"Min, are you alright?" Jimin asked, "Yeah. You?"
"Yeah, I'm worried he might breathe fire again." Jimin answered.
"Me too." I agreed.
"Did that puppy just breathe fire?!!" Jungkook shouted. "Like as in this puppy just spewed fire out of its small mouth like a volcano?!!" He added, sounding panicked.
"Holy shit." Namjoon cursed.
"Tae, I really think you should-" Hoseok stepped forward only to have the puppy bark again and a large fireball spewed from his mouth, Yoongi, Jin and Hoseok ducked as the fireball whizzed past their head and hit a car behind them. The car blew up, causing everyone to panic as Jungkook immediately put up a barrier to protect us. I buried my face into Jimin's neck, holding him tightly as debris from the car flew by. Hoseok tripped over himself and fell flat on his butt, while Namjoon and Yoongi both covered their faces. Jin stood staring at the burning car, while Jungkook slowly looked back at Taehyung who was completely silent. The eight of us watched the car blow up a second time, not one person saying a word. When the explosion died down, we all let out a sigh of relief. Namjoon patted Jungkook on the shoulder, signaling that he did a good job as the barrier stood strong. Jungkook nodded at Namjoon, taking attention away from him and onto the puppy that Taehyung was holding away from his body.
"What the actual fuck?!!" Yoongi shouted, killing the silence.
"Taehyung, slowly.. Slowly. Put the puppy down." Jin instructed, Taehyung was just about to do that when the ground started shaking. A loud rumbling noise could be heard throughout the area causing all of us to be on alert, "What the hell?" From behind some trees, a large dog creature appeared and it looked angry. The puppy let out a happy bark, his tail wagging as he looked at the bigger dog that looked just like him.
"Oh shit," Yoongi cursed.
The dog started growling at us, coming closer to the barrier until it was standing over us casting a large shadow. I gripped Jimin's shirt tightly as Jungkook kept the barrier up, Hoseok stood to his feet and placed himself beside Jimin and I.
"Guys... I think the Mom just found us.." Namjoon said.
Sorry for the long wait you guys, i had finals and work but I'm done with the semester and have one more to go.. Also... The final four members have enlisted and I'm so sad. But something good happened yesterday, My best friend since childhood graduated from college and I attended it. It was amazing and I'm so proud!! Anyways, with all of BTS now enlisted, I'm going to throw myself into my books and Stray Kids to help cope until Jin is discharged from Service! We can get through this Fellow ARMY!! WE CAN WAIT UNTIL 2025!
