(scene opens to Flappington where the Duke of Flappington is annoyed since all his latest scheme have been foiled by the Paw Patrol)
Duke of Flappington: (annoyed) (to self) I wish there was a way to stop those pups normal and magic ones once and for all!
Claw: (comes running over) (shouts) Duke!
Duke of Flappington: (annoyed) What is it Claw, I was busy talking to myself!
Claw: Flappington has an invader! He just paralyzed Sparks in seconds!
Duke of Flappington: (surprised) What!? Show me!
(the twosome head outside where Jean-Claude lands on his owners shoulder)
Duke of Flappington: What is it, Jean-Claude?
Jean-Claude: (points with his wing to an odd pup eating Sparks marshmallows)
Duke of Flappington: My word, what is that thing?
Claw: I have no idea, but that tail struck Sparks right in the leg and paralyzed him, I got lucky and fled!
Odd pup: (looks over) (growls) My food!
Claw: Those were Sparks marshmallows, you foolish pup!
Odd pup: (stretches and strikes Claw's exposed paw)
Claw: (winches) Yipe! (suddenly paralyzed)
Duke of Flappington: (grabs the tail before it can recede) Ah ha!
Odd pup: (eyes widen) (worried) Uh oh!
Duke of Flappington: (to pup) Seems with your tail unable to get loose, you are quite defenseless!
Odd pup: (whimpers) Sorry, I was just hungry and looking for food!
Duke of Flappington: Oh really? Do tell me what and who you are?
Odd pup: I am Scorpio the Scorpion Pup!
Duke of Flappington: Well that explains the scorpion like stinger and extra legs!
Scorpio: Along with my exoskeleton!
Duke of Flappington: Tell me, will my associates be alright?
Scorpio: (calmly) No worries, I only paralyzed and immobilized them! It's quite harmless but it wears off after a few minutes each time I sting someone with my tail!
Duke of Flappington: Just a question, but what's the biggest thing you've stung?
Scorpio: A blue whale, why?
Duke of Flappington: (surprised) Eh?
Scorpio: (shyly) I've snuck rides around the world, I've used my stinger tail for a little grappling hook related thing or like a prehensile tail like an opossum! Also the areas I sting heal up in seconds!
Duke of Flappington: Very interesting!
(a few minutes later)
Claw: (able to move) Yes! (glares at Scorpio) You stung me!
Duke of Flappington: Claw ceased, it appears this fellow was only searching for food!
Scorpio: (nods) I had no idea those sweets belonged to a dragon!
Claw: Ha! You're no match without your stinger!
Scorpio: (kicks Claw into a nearby barrel with four of his eight legs) I'm not entirely defenseless!
Claw: (climbs out) I'm alright!
Sparks: (able to move) (growls at Scorpio)
Duke of Flappington: (has an idea) Sparks cease! (throws him a marshmallow making him calm down)
Sparks: (looks away and lays down)
Duke of Flappington: So Scorpio, I think I could assist with so you won't have to hunt for food?
Scorpio: I scavenge anything I can, easier than hunting for food but I still know how to!
Duke of Flappington: (shrugs) Okay, would you be interested in helping me seize the kingdom from my evil cousin!
Scorpio: (surprised) Evil cousin!
Duke of Flappington: Indeed she's got a boy with a squad of evil pup knights with her to ensure I can't free the kingdom from her evil tyranny!
Scorpio: (growls) Down with the evil ruler! (calmly to Duke) Pardon me, but could I have my tail back?
Duke of Flappington: Alright! (releases his hold on Scorpio's tail)
Scorpio: Thank you! (resumes growl and has his tail sting the ground) Down with the evil cousin! (marches off)
Claw: (whispers) (to Duke of Flappington) You sure about this?
Duke of Flappington: Of course I'm sure, we both saw how powerful his immobilizing sting is!
Claw: True, those Rescue Knights will surely be unable to stop his swift stings at least until they wear off!
Duke of Flappington: Which is why we'll need those blue marshmallows so Sparks can breathe ice so we can trap them!
Claw: Yeah! (realizes) What about Mason?
Duke of Flappington: (realizes) You do have a point Claw! He does have an affinity toward the magic pups, which might include this one!
Claw: So what do we do?
Duke of Flappington: We tell Scorpio that Mason and the magic pups are evil allies to my cousin!
(the group has no idea that Lycan pup Luna is spying on them)
Scorpio: (walks back) Um? Where is your cousin? (notices green glowing eyes) (shouts) Spy! (fires his tail)
Luna: (eyes widen) Whoa! (jumps up to dodge but leaves of her hiding spot) Yipe!
(Luna lands among the group)
Duke of Flappington: Luna!
Claw: (annoyed) One of those villains!
Scorpio: (growls) I'll get her! (fires his stinger at Luna who gets stung)
Luna: (winches) Ouch!
Claw: Haha! He stopped that vile Lycan pup!
Scorpio: (removes his stinger) Gotcha!
Luna: (eyes rolls) (unfazed) (dusts herself off) Nope! (yawns)
Scorpio: (shocked) What!? Why didn't you get paralyzed?
Luna: Us Lycan pups have bodies with enhanced healing abilities! So when your paralysis venom hit, my body swiftly countered it thus nullifying your paralysis poison!
Scorpio: (surprised) Wow!
Luna: (giggles) Yep!
Claw: Scorpio, she's a bad guy stop her!
Scorpio: How? She can counter my stings?
Claw: (looks at Luna's amulet) I know! (tackles and pushes Luna's amulet making her revert) Now!
Scorpio: (stings Luna)
Luna: Yipe! (paralyzed in her normal form)
Duke of Flappington: Nicely done Scorpio!
Claw: Yeah! (looks at Luna) Looks like your normal form isn't immune to his sting!
Sound: (roar and howl)
Mana: (comes flying down and grabs Luna with her legs) Later boys, come to save this sweetie! (flies off with Luna)
Scorpio: (surprised) What was that!?
Duke of Flappington: Just one of those dragon pups who betrayed us some time ago!
Scorpio: Whoa! So about your cousin?
Duke of Flappington: Come with us Scorpio! (to Claw) We're headed to Barkingburg, Claw! To take the throne from my evil cousin!
(scene changes to Barkingburg where the Paw Patrol is visiting with Everest)
Princess of Barkingburg: I'm so delighted all of you could come for a visit!
Ryder: The pups and I were happy to be invited over!
Pups: (happily) Yeah!
Sound: (slash)
(the group looks over finding a portal before Mason steps out with Luna, Mana, and Mirage)
(portal closes)
Princess of Barkingburg: (surprised) Mason, girls what brings you to Barkingburg?
Luna: Your cousin's got a new breed of magic pup! He tricked him into thinking you're the villains!
Ryder: What kind of pup was it Luna?
Luna: It was a mix between a scorpion and a pup! He had a sting that could paralyze his targets for a few minutes!
Pups: Whoa!
Luna: I discovered my Lycan pup form could counter his paralyzing stings but my normal form didn't rival!
Everest: What happened?
Luna: Claw used my amulet to manually switch forms!
Mason: My associates change the amulets so only the wearer can switch forms!
Luna: Yep! He can't get me this time!
Everest: That's good to know!
Marshall: Ryder, what should we do?
Ryder: Don't worry princess, pups! No scorpion pup is too fast, no pup is too small! (to pups) Rescue Knights to the Castle Lookout!
(scene splits into four showing Ryder, Marshall, Everest, and Rubble)
(scene with Marshall enlarges)
Marshall: (accidentally trips on Mana's tail) Whoa!
Mana: (winches) Sorry Marshall!
Marshall: (rolling toward the others) Lookout!
Pups: Uh oh!
Everest: (worried) Be careful Marshall!
(Mirage walks out from behind Everest)
Pups: (surprised) Mirage, how did you get here so fast?
Mirage: (inhales to inflate her tummy)
Marshall: Lookout Mirage!
(Marshall crashes into Mirage tummy and stuck on it)
Marshall: Whoa! Talk about a sticky wipe out! (confused) Why is your inflated tummy sticky, Mirage?
Mirage: I just used my magic to make my tummy adhesive so you'd stick! (deflates and tummy is no longer sticky causing Marshall to slide down)
Marshall: Whoa! Also thanks Mirage!
Mirage: You're welcome Marshall! (walk out as the pups go up)
(Castle transformation sequence and Rescue Knight sequence)
(scene changes to most of the pups wearing Rescue Knights gear while the two leftmost pups have something else on)
Chase: Rescue Knights, ready for action, Ryder sir!
Ryder: (chuckles) You sure about that Chase?
Chase and pups: (confused) Huh?
Marshall and Everest: (notice what they're wearing) What!?
Skye: (giggles) How did that happened?
Marshall: (embarrassed) Why am I wearing a wedding dress?
Everest: (embarrassed) And why am I wearing a tuxedo?
Mirage: (teleports behind them) Just me having a giggle or two!
Everest: Why am I in the tuxedo and Marshall in the dress?
Mirage: (shrugs) Thought it'd be funnier!
Everest and Marshall: (chuckles) Okay, that is kinda funny!
Mirage: Allow me! (claps her paws putting the twosome into their Rescue Knight gear)
Everest and Marshall: Thanks Mirage!
Mirage: No problem! (to everyone present) And be watch out for that stinger, Luna was able to spy and see he struck Claw with a fast and precise aim at an exposed spot!
Ryder: (nods) Noted!
Mirage: (nods before teleporting away)
Ryder: Pups since we don't know much about this kind of magic pup, it'd be best if we all go out to handle the Duke of Flappington's latest scheme!
Everest: Hopefully we can tell that scorpion pup that the princess is good and the duke is bad!
Marshall: (nods) Yeah!
Ryder: We'll try pups!
(scene changes to the Duke of Flappington's group including Scorpio arriving in Barkingburg)
Scorpio: Ooh! It looks so nice here!
Duke of Flappington: It may look that way but my evil cousin forces people to keep everything clean no matter the time of day!
Scorpio: How mean!
Duke of Flappington: Indeed!
(the group lands at an opening)
Duke of Flappington: Well done Jean-Claude, now come along!
(scene changes the pups searching around in pairs for the duke of Flappington's group)
Marshall: So Everest, what do you think about being a Rescue Knight?
Everest: (giggles) It's fun and a noble cause!
Scorpio: (leaps down from above) (growls)
Marshall and Everest: (startled) Monster!
Scorpio: (confused expression at first then a serious expression) You're going down evil pups!
Everest: (shouts) Wait! We're the good guys!
Scorpio: (unsure expression)
Claw: (lands nearby) Scorpio, those two are trying to trick you! They want you to believe the princess is good and the duke is bad!
Scorpio: (unsure) Um?
Claw: Strike them before they strike both of us down!
Scorpio: (uncertain) Um?
Claw: (shouts) Do it!
(Scorpio thrusts his stinger at Everest not sure who to believe)
Everest: (shocked gasps)
Mason's voice: Two-Ton Tunic!
(Mason suddenly appears between stinger and Everest wearing the Two-Ton Tunic)
(the scorpion pup stinger breaks upon striking the Two-Ton Tunic)
Scorpio: (screams in pain) Ouchie! (retracts his damaged tail)
Marshall and Everest: (surprised) Mason, where'd you come from!?
Mason: (reveals the snake talisman in his pocket) I used Crystal Glasses and found out they'd ambush you two first, so I followed you by turning invisible!
Everest: (touched) Thank you Mason!
Marshall: You saved Everest from being stung!
Scorpio: (clings to his damaged tail) (whimpers) My tail!
Mason: (calmly picks up the damaged stinger tail and walks over to Scorpio) (calmly) Come here boy, I can help!
Scorpio: (whimpering) (unsure) Why?
Mason: I was only protecting a friend!
Claw: Scorpio, it's only a trick! He wants to hurt you!
Scorpio: I'm already hurt! But he was only protecting his friend! Why would a villain do that!?
Claw: (realizes) Uh oh!
Mason: (uses the horse talisman to mend Scorpio's damaged tail with ease)
Scorpio: (happily) My tail! (hugs his tail) (touched) You fixed it! (hugs Mason)
Claw: (annoyed) Oh great, we've lost him!
Mason: The Rescue Knights are the good guys, I'm sorry for what happened!
Scorpio: (nods understandingly) I understand, you were only protecting your friend from my sting!
Marshall: We're the good guys, Claw' and the Duke of Flappington are troublemakers!
Scorpio: (glares at Claw) (upset) You guys tricked me! (raises his stinger ready to strike)
Sparks and Claw: (eyes widen)
Claw: (shouts) Wait! If you let me and Sparks leave peacefully, I'll tell you where the Duke of Flappington is!
Everest: (annoyed) Where is he Claw?
Claw: He's at the castle! Confronting his cousin since all of you were out and about!
Scorpio: Now leave!
Claw: (fearfully) Don't have to tell us twice!
(Sparks and Claw fly away)
Marshall: They sure fled!
Everest: Yeah!
Scorpio: Oh I stung them earlier since I was on the defensive!
Marshall: We'd better contact Ryder! (contacts Ryder) Ryder!
(scene changes to the Duke of Flappington confronting his cousin in the castle)
Duke of Flappington: Well cousin, it appears it is just you and I! So make it easy and hand over the throne and kingdom!
Princess of Barkingburg: Never my naughty cousin!
(Ryder and everyone else arrive)
Duke of Flappington: (surprised) Ryder!? How did you and the pups escape the sting of Scorpion!
Scorpio: (walks through the crowd with Mason) (points to Mason) How he protected his friend from my stinger then kindly mended my broken stinger helped me know the truth!
Mason: (nods) (pets Scorpio who enjoys it)
(Mirage, Luna, and Mana side with the others)
Duke of Flappington: Oh boy!
(Mirage places her paw on Scorpio and winks)
Scorpio: (nods ad launches his stinger at the Duke of Flappington)
Duke of Flappington: (shouts) Ouch! (only his body is paralyzed but not his head) Hey?
Mirage: I assisted Scorpion with my magic to empower his venom just this one!
Scorpio: Yeah, villain! You'll be immobilized for a day this time thanks to Mirage's kind empowerment!
Duke of Flappington: Not fair!
Scorpio: (nuzzles Mason's leg)
Everest: Aww, I think Scorpion likes you Mason!
Mason: I find him to be a nice magic pup too!
Scorpio: (remembers) Oh! One more thing! (pulls a scroll out of his exoskeleton) Just wondering since we're all associates could one of you please explain what this is? I found it while exploring a desert!
Mason: (gently picks up the scroll) Looks like you found a scorpion pup creation scroll, Scorpio!
Scorpio: I kinda wish I had somewhere to call home?
Mirage: We might know a place that'd happily welcome you!
Scorpio: You do?
Mason: Ryder, I'll take this scroll to Adventure Bay, later!
Ryder: (nods) Okay Mason!
Duke of Flappington: What about me?
Mirage: (snickers) I've got an idea! (works her magic)
(scene changes to after Mason's group including Scorpio left and the Duke of Flappington is left wearing a ball gown over his normal attire)
Princess of Barkingburg: (laughing) Now that was a funny idea!
Duke of Flappington: Maybe to you, this is humiliating!
Princess of Barkingburg: Consider this punishment for all you've done to Barkingburg!
Duke of Flappington: (sighs)
(scene changes to Scorpio being happily welcomed by several other magic pups while Mason has the scroll duplicated and the original enchanted and sent to Adventure Bay)
Scorpio: (walks over) (touched) Thank you Mason!
Mason: (kneels down) We're happy to let you stay with us Scorpion, plenty of oddballs around here!
Chimera pup: (walks over) Yep!
Aquamarine: Indeed!
Inferna: You bet!
Scorpio: (smiles knowing he found a place where he'd fit in along with friends and allies) Home!
Others: (smile and nods) Home!
(Mason lets the magic pups happily run off to have fun before Mirage and Luna playfully jump into his arms and the trio wave goodbye to the readers as everything slowly fades to black)
