Jo called Madelyn over to her house because she was having a crisis, correction Meredith was having a crisis and Jo felt left out so she wanted Madelyn to get involved for her
"If my mother were pregnant, I would have known" Meredith says
"Adoption agency made a mistake?" Alex suggests
"And randomly put the name "Ellis Grey" on a birth certificate? I don't think so" Mer says "Pierce has got to want something"
"Maybe she thinks there's money to inherit" Madelyn says
"The only thing you inherit in this family is Alzheimer's"Mer replies
"Whoa" Alex exclaims
"Dark" Madelyn comments
"Good one, though, huh?" Mer says
"Yeah" Madelyn agrees proudly
"She's not my sister" Mer states
"You know who you should ask about this? The guy who was banging your mom back then" Madelyn says
"I'm not asking Richard Webber" Mer says
Madelyn shrugs "All I'm saying is, he's got skin in the game"
"Disgusting" Mer says
"Maddy's right. He's the only living person who would know if it's true" Alex says
"Richard Webber is like a second father to me, and if he knew that I had a sister, he would tell me!" Mer exclaims

Madelyn, April, Amelia, and Derek are examining their patient Steve
"A.B.C.'S intact. I need to assess his GCS" Derek says
"If you'd be quiet, he's trying to talk now. Sir, can you tell me your name? What's your name?" Amelia says
Madelyn rolls her eyes at her bickering siblings
"Steve" the patient says
"Forget your helmet today, Steve?" Madelyn jokes earning looks form her older siblings, Dereks implying 'shut up' where as Amelia's look was that of approval
"Aah. It hurts" Steve winces
"I'm giving you something for the pain. You might start to feel sleepy now" April says softly
"It's a depressed skull fracture. It is pretty deep. We're gonna need a C.T." Derek says "And because of the position, probably an angio"
"I can make that decision if you'll give me room to look" Amelia sasses
As she moves in to look at the patient, Derek pushes her back "Amy, I don't think he's gonna make it, and it's gonna get ugly, so let me do it"
"Ah. Because only you can save him now. Screw you. I've got him" Amelia replies
"Maybe you can both take him... like a team, or a family" April says awkwardly looking over at Madelyn to say something
"Don't look at me" Madelyn says
"I have him. Mads, Kepner, you can both assist" Amelia says before turning to just April "Let's take him up to C.T"
"Amy can handle a lot more than you think. Stop treating her like she's a baby" Madelyn says to her brother before walking out of the room

"How's our motorcycle guy?" Derek asks
"My motorcycle guy?" Amelia says "I fixed him, like a boss. Like your boss, actually"
"Amy, you're an excellent surgeon. You have nothing to prove" Derek says
"Oh, I know I don't. But if you try and fight me over the leadership of this department, you will lose" Amelia replies
"My resume will kick your resume's ass. I am better than you" Derek says
Madelyn decides it's time to intervene "Oh, my God, Derek. There is no limit to your narcissist..."
Derek cuts her off and looks directly at Amelia "I have been playing this game longer than you at a much higher level. That is all there is to it"
Amelia glares at him "Bite me" she says walking away
"Where did she go? Dr. Shepherd?" April says walking over
Derek looks at redhead "I'm Dr. Shepherd"
"Actually i'm Dr. Shepherd" Madelyn says
"Yeah, I-I know. Ms. Dr. Shepherd. Her post-op C.T.S are back" Apeil says
"Let me see them" Derek demands
"Don't even think about showing him" Madelyn orders April before walking away to find Amelia
"I...shouldn't" April says to Derek
"Kepner, I am Dr. Shepherd" Derek she's
April hand at me over "Uh... So, we repaired the subdural bleed, but... That is a big aneurysm"
"Yeah. It's grown. It's way bigger than it was before. Okay, book an O.R. and scrub in" Derek she's
April nods "Okay. I'll let her know"
"No, with me, Kepner. You're gonna scrub in with me" Derek says
April shakes her head "It's her patient"
"Well, it just got too big for her. Tell her or don't tell her. Just prep an O.R. and scrub in" Derek demands
April sighs "Okay"

"I'm gonna kill him" Amelia says as the Shepherd sisters look at the O.R board
"What an ass" Madelyn says
Amelia storms off to the O.R, Madelyn trailing behind her bout wanting to miss this
"Gown and glove me" Amelia demands "I don't believe you. I don't believe you!"
"Suction" Derek says "Amy, you don't have to scrub in"
"I want to be sterile when I come over there and stick that bovie in your eye" Amelia says "Kepner, move! You're on my list" she yells at the redhead
"You have put me in an awful position" April says softly as she walks towards Madelyn
"Amy, he never had a good prognosis. I went endovascularly to fix the aneurysm, but he starting re-bleeding" Derek says
"I'm sorry he-" April tries to apologise to Madelyn
"Don't bother" Madelyn says not intending her tone to be as harsh as it was
"...I can see that. Fibrin glue. Now, why is that suction not working? Okay, can somebody change the canister?" Amelia says
"Amy..." Derek tries to say
"Mads" April says looking at the brunette who's watching her siblings "Why are mad at me?"
"Stop talking to me" Madelyn says
"I see it. 100 of Mannitol, 125 of Solu-Medrol. He's gonna herniate" Amelia says
D"He may not have time to herniate! He's in florid D.I.C. He's not clotting anymore. Knox, check his pupils" Derek says
"Fixed and dilated. There's no gag reflex" Knox replete
Derek sighs "He's probably already brain-dead"
"Maddy-" April calls after the brunette who's had enough of her siblings "Mads" April she's joining her in the scrub room
"What?!" Madelyn snaps
"Stop! Stop yelling at me. I'm sorry okay, I just-"
"I'm not the one you need to apologise to" Madelyn says "I'll be home late tonight. Board meeting" is all she says before walking out

Madelyn listens to Bailey give her presentation, followed by Alex
After a long discussion Arizona brings Bailey ba n in
"There she is"
"Hey"
"Congratulations"
They all say welcoming the new board member

Madelyn quietly walks into the apartment assuming April would be asleep but the redhead was anxiously sat on the couch waiting for her to come home
"You came" April says
Madelyn looks at her confused "Of course I did...why wouldn't I?"
"Because you're mad at me" April says "I thought maybe you'd need a break"
Madelyn walks towards April who's now standing "You should've gone to bed" she says
"I can't sleep without you" April replies "Besides I read somewhere that couples should never go to bed mad"
Madelyn sighs "April, i'm always going to come home. Even when i'm mad" she says
April nods slowly "I really am sorry- I apologised to Amelia"
"My anger was misdirected" Madelyn says "Yes, I wished you'd stuck up for yourself and Amelia and I wish you hadn't let Derek order you around like that. But it's him i'm mad at. Not you, never you" she says wrapping her arms around the redheads hips
April smiles up at the brunette "You're the only Shepherd that matters to me" she says putting her arms around Madelyn's neck
"Atta girl" Madelyn says making April giggle
"Can we go to bed? I'm so tired" April asks
Madelyn places a kiss on Aprils forehead "I couldn't think of anything better"
