"Goodbye, Dottore. May we never meet again."
And just as Arthur was about to fire off his attack, his arm was quick to burst apart. The bones shattered in all directions. Blood splattered and decorated Arthur's clothing. Muscle hung from the strings of nerves still attached to the shoulder.
"Gah- aaahhhhhh," he screamed in pain. His other hand reaching to place where his limb once was.
"What did you do Dottore?!"
His words sputtered out as tears filled his eyes. The pain was still searing itself into his brain.
"More like, what did I do."
Arthur turned to look at who had spoken. His eyes widened, his lips quivered, and he found himself lightly falling back to the ground.
His breath was shaky as he managed to stutter out his words, beads of sweat slowly cascading down his face, "y - y/n? How-? What in the hell?"
An airy laugh echoed out into the open air. And before Arthur could move, y/n had a gentle hold on him. Her hands gently cupping his face as she forced him to look into them.
"I- I can't move," he managed to stutter out, blood immediately seeping from his gums as it trickled from his teeth and from his lips, "w -whats happening to me?"
"My eyes," y/n started, her fingers lightly tracing her skin as she started to fly up into the air, being sure to take Arthur with her, "have the ability to destroy anything that i look at. And my other abilities .. well, I'll leave them you your imagination."
He gritted his teeth as he grabbed her forearms, "this is impossible! Celestia chose me! They gave me their blessings!"
Y/n tilted her head to the sight, a mocking look taunting ever so sweetly.
"And Dottore chose me."
Before he could retort, all the organs in his body started to rupture one by one by one. His bones splintered and broke within his body. His nerves twisted and snapped. His muscles tore. His joints bent. The pain suffocated him, engulfed him, molded into him.
"Y- y/n."
"Arthur .. I want your very existence to be erased. I want nothing left of you. So, I will destroy you."
And just before he could feel his existence perish, he watched as y/n's smile grew, "oh, and Arthur? In your next life, if you're granted such a feat. Be sure to never cross paths with me again."
"Y/n-!"
She let him go and watched as he fell to the ground, but just before he crashed into the earth. He was already gone. His muscles, his blood, his bones, nerves, joints. Anything and everything that made him who he was ...
Was completely erased.
Not even his blood remained.
There was a pained cough from below, her eyes were quick to shift to where the noise came from. A man with blue hair was watching her closely.
Who was he?
She closed her eyes to think. Briefly remembering a dream of someone .. no. A dream of two people calling out to her.
Laphi and Dottore, right?
But who were they?
They seem important to me.
Opening her eyes, she decided to meet this person who she didn't see as a threat. Her shoes lightly touched the ground without a sound.
She landed just a few feet away.
"Your name," she asked, "what is it?"
He seemed displeased for a moment, "Dottore," though he answered her question nonetheless.
"Dottore," she repeated before going up to him. Her eyes lightly scanning his face.
"Are you important to me?"
"Am I?"
She tilted her head to the side.
"Hmm, then what about me? What am I to you exactly?"
He hesitated for some reason, she noticed, but then she watched as he placed a hand onto her cheek.
"Guess."
Guess?
She studied him again. Her own hand reaching out to trace his features. Her gaze momentarily getting entranced by the color of his eyes.
Such a beautiful yet dangerous red.
And suddenly.
A single word came to mind.
"Love?"
She tested the word against her lips. The letters daintly falling from her mouth.
"Sister?"
The two looked over. And y/n watched as a small boy on the alter unsteadily stood up. His legs shaking as he watched her.
"Sister!"
He seemed happy to see her.
Sister?
...Sister?
We're related?
She watched cautiously as he jumped from the alter and ran to her. Arms outstretched and tears streaming down his face. And before she could stop him, he had his arms wrapped around her waist. His tears soaking the front of her clothes.
She felt the man, Dottore, he called himself quickly hug her from behind.
"You know, i may have said that the formula would work, but I didn't mean for you to drink it."
The boy, who y/n presumed was Laphi. Let her go then. His tears still falling from his face as Dottore forced her to look at him.
"Don't let this erase you, y/n. Remember who you are."
Laphi did admit that he didn't understand the whole situation except that Arthur was nowhere to be seen and that y/n didn't seem to remember him.
"P- please remember!"
He decided to try and coax her memories nonetheless despite not understanding.
Remember?
She felt Dottore grab a hold of her chin, making sure to hold her still.
"I said I wouldn't do it in a carriage, and frankly I don't want to do it in front of your little brother either, but damn it y/n. I just want you to remember me."
She couldn't focus on anything else after that. Because his lips were pressed gently to her own.
Her whole being sort of froze in place. As Laphi stopped moving to. His eyes twitching as he was forced to watch the man who kidnapped his sister lock lips with her.
Remember.. me..

"It's a pleasure to meet you, y/n. And you can ... you can just call me Dottore."

"Dottore... Laphi..."
She mumbled those two names when Dottore pulled away. His eyes scanning her own for a brief second before relief flooded over him. He could see the recognition in her face. The way she seemed to brighten and the smile he came to love finally etched across her features.
"Sister!"
She felt Laphi hug her again and she couldn't help but to laugh. Her body turning away from Dottore as she engulfed her little brother into a tight hug.
"Laphi, I'm so happy you're alright."
"And I'm happy you remember me," he smiled up at her, but the happy reunion was quick to diminish when he gave her pointed stare, "now, mind telling me why your kidnapper was sucking your face?"
Dottore seemed to slowly back away at that and y/n let out a sheepish laugh, "w- well, you see-"
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU FELL FOR THE FATUI DUDE!"
Honestly,
She couldn't believe it either. But...
When she looked at him and he gave her a shrug, she couldn't help but to brighten her smile.
What can she say?
He was hot.
