Khwahish's point of view:

In that moment, the world seemed to hold its breath. All eyes were on me, waiting for my response, and the weight of their expectations felt heavy on my shoulders. The Chauhans and the Ahujas had come together, their hopes and dreams resting on my decision.

My heart raced as I took a deep breath and nodded in agreement. A wave of relief washed over me as the tension in the air dissolved, replaced by a sense of joy and celebration. My father embraced Mr. Ahuja, and congratulations were exchanged all around. It was a moment of unity, of two families coming together in the spirit of love.

But amidst the cheerful chatter and warm embraces, my attention remained fixed on one person—the man who had captured my heart. Armaan wore a small, knowing smile, and his gaze never left mine. My cheeks flushed with shyness, and I couldn't help but lower my eyes, overwhelmed by the intensity of his love.

Then, as if to break the silence, Armaan's mother approached me and enveloped me in a warm hug. Her embrace felt like a welcoming embrace into their family, and it brought a genuine smile to my face.

But just as the atmosphere began to relax, Riaansh, always the playful one, couldn't resist adding a touch of mischief to the moment. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he teased about Armaan's response. The room fell silent as everyone turned their attention to Armaan, their expressions a mix of curiosity and amusement.

Armaan, slightly flustered but with that same charming smile, cleared his throat. His voice was steady as he responded, "Well, I believe actions speak louder than words, Riaansh."

And with that cryptic but confident reply, a ripple of laughter and relief swept through the room. It was a moment of joy, a moment of celebration, and above all, a moment of newfound love and togetherness.

As our families shared laughter and congratulations, I couldn't help but steal another glance at Armaan. Our eyes met, and in that unspoken connection, we shared the knowledge that our journey together was just beginning.

In my room, the whirlwind of emotions still lingered, and I found solace in the tranquility of my own space. But that peace was abruptly interrupted by the sudden burst of the door. Before I could react, my younger sister Anya entered, her energy infectious and her excitement palpable.

Anya rushed to me, enveloping me in a tight hug, and then, as if she couldn't contain her happiness any longer, she started dancing around the room. Her infectious enthusiasm brought a smile to my face, and I couldn't help but laugh at her antics.

"Diiii!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with excitement, "You won't believe it! That khadoos senior is actually going to be your fiancé!"

The word "fiancé" hit me like a beautiful, overwhelming wave. It was the first time I was hearing it in relation to Armaan, and the weight of the word filled me with a mix of thrill and anticipation.

I nodded, still processing the reality of the situation, and Anya's eyes gleamed with curiosity. "But wait, di, you used to hate him, right? How did this happen?" she questioned eagerly.

I let out a sigh and began to recount the entire story to Anya, starting from our initial misunderstandings, the gradual friendship that blossomed between us, and finally, the confession of love that had taken place just recently.

She listened with rapt attention, hanging on every word, and by the time I finished, her face was lit up with a mixture of delight and fascination.

As I concluded the tale, Anya let out a delighted squeal. "Oh my gosh, di, this is like a real-life movie! It's amazing!" She clapped her hands in excitement and then looked at me with an affectionate smile. "So, finally, the one and only Armaan Singh Chauhan is officially going to be my jiju. And I get to be the only sister-in-law!"

Her enthusiasm was infectious, and I couldn't help but laugh again. Anya's ability to find joy in every situation was one of her most endearing qualities. She pulled me into another hug, and I hugged her back tightly, feeling a sense of comfort and happiness wash over me.

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I realized how blessed I was to have a sister like Anya. Her unreserved support and boundless excitement were like a beacon of light in my life, guiding me through the twists and turns that fate had thrown my way.

And with her by my side, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, with unwavering love and unwavering bonds of sisterhood.

After the dinner, the day seemed to be transitioning into a time of playful camaraderie. Ridaanshi, Saina, and Kanak had gathered in my room, and as they settled in, I could already sense their mischievous intentions. With knowing smiles, they began to tease me about the recent turn of events.

"Finally, you're officially my bhabhi," Ridaanshi chimed in with a grin, her eyes twinkling mischievously. I couldn't help but smile at her excitement.

Saina, always quick to pick up on details, pointed out, "Someone is blushing." Her playful observation caused a chorus of laughter to fill the room.

Kanak, the most outspoken of the group, seized the opportunity to pry further. "So, Khwaahish, spill the beans! When did you guys confess your love and, most importantly, when did the magical kiss happen?" Her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she probed for the juicy details.

My heart raced at the sudden turn of conversation, and I felt my cheeks heat up. Their teasing smiles were both endearing and embarrassing. Ridaanshi's curiosity was evident as she added, "Okay, okay! We really want to know about the kiss, but we don't want to visualize my bhai in that scenario, so spare us the details."

Their lighthearted banter continued, and Saina joined in with her own line of questioning. "So, tell us, Khwaahish, was it today, or are we looking at a tomorrow thing?"

I closed my eyes momentarily, the memory of that special moment flooding back. "It was at 12 o'clock in Shimla," I admitted, a shy smile gracing my lips as I recalled my birthday.

Their reactions were nothing short of priceless. Wide-eyed and gaping, they exchanged glances before erupting into fits of laughter. Kanak, with her signature wit, added, "Well, that was quite the hot birthday gift, I must say!"

Just as the playful banter and laughter filled the room, my phone buzzed, drawing my attention away from the amusing exchange. A smile curved my lips as I glanced at the screen and saw the sender's name. The mere presence of that name sent a wave of delight through me, a feeling that was becoming more familiar and cherished with each passing day.

Amidst the hoots and cheers of my friends, their light-hearted teasing bringing back a familiar sense of camaraderie, I found myself immersed in a different kind of happiness. It was the happiness of knowing that the person who had become so important to me was reaching out, even amidst the shared laughter and jokes.

As Saina quipped about the love birds needing some privacy, everyone laughed and playfully dispersed, leaving me with the sensation of being enveloped in a bubble of joy. My heart was light, my cheeks were still slightly flushed from their earlier teasing, and the message on my phone was a reminder of the special connection that was growing between us.
