"So, we're gonna be reacting to a new trilogy based on your worlds?" Ruby asked, curious. She and everybody else were back in the theaters.

Theo nodded. "That's correct."

"So this isn't an alternate version of our world?" Oscar wondered.

"Technically, yes." Lucy replied. "Alternate characters but not alternate worlds."

"So Remnant or our other worlds won't be involved, just us?" Ozpin questioned, sipping on his cup.

Andy nodded. "Uh huh."

Yang smirked. "This should be good."

Weiss nodded in agreement. "It would be nice to other worlds than our own."

Lucy nodded to their words and played the first chapter.

The scene begins underwater where words begin to appear on the screen.

"There must be a beginning of any great matter, but the continuing unto the end until it be thoroughly finished yields the true glory." -Sir Francis Drake, 1587.

"Nice poetry but, who's Sir Francis Drake?" Blake asked as everyone else was curious too.

"Well, to put it simple, he was an explorer." Theo answered.

Glynda raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Was??"

Lucy cleared her throat. "He... died."

Winter sighed sadly then asked. "How?"

"It's... better you guys find out in the later chapters." Andy replied.

An old coffin is found beneath the sea. Later, a camera is recording the coffin.

"I'm here off the coast of Panama, where we've just discovered what we believe to be the coffin of legendary explorer Sir Francis Drake, who was buried at sea over 400 years ago." A voice is heard and the audience immediately knows who that is.

"Wait, is that Ruby?" Yang asked, surprised.

The scythe-wielder gasped happily. "Yay! I'm in another trilogy!"

Weiss frowned. "Let's hope you won't die like the last trilogy."

The smile immediately disappeared. "Oh..."

Suddenly, someone shoves a crowbar, trying to open a coffin. The scene shows Ruby and the person, to which everybody recognized, wearing gray diver suits.

"Oscar... is that you?" Jaune asked, shocked at the farm boys appearance.

"I think so." Oscar responded. "But why do I look older?"

"Don question it." Ruby mumbles, blushing hot red.

"What was that, Ruby?" Oscar said, confused.

"Blushing! I-I-I mean nothing!!" The crimson girl yelped in embarrassment.

Ruby was holding the camera, recording the Oscar, who was trying to pry open the coffin.

"Are you sure you wanna be defiling your ancestor's remains like that?" Ruby asked.

'I'm defiling my ancestor's remains?' Oscar thought, shocked.

"You make it sound so dirty." Oscar laughs as he gets to the other side of the coffin.

"How dirty?" Yang giggled.

"Besides, I thought you didn't believe me." Oscar said to Ruby.

"Well, I did do my research. And apparently, Francis Drake didn't have any children." Ruby said.

"If this Francis Drake person didn't have any children, how is it that Oscar is related to him?" Ren wonders.

"Allegedly. History can be wrong." Oscar pointed out.

"Especially with his wife back home in England." Andy said.

"Maybe they had a miscarriage and adopted." Pyrrha suggested.

Oscar got the last of the coffin lid unstuck. "For example - you can't defile an empty coffin." He finishes opening the coffin and moves the lid off. The inside is empty except for a few rocks.

"What the hell-?" Ruby said, surprised.

Oscar grabs open an old metal box in the corner of the coffin and opens it. Inside is an old small brown notebook with a leather cover. He opens it, flipping through some pages, seeing several drawings and notes written in old English language.

"This Sir Francis Drake person seems to be a great journalist." Blake said, impressed.

Sun smiled. "You and he have something in common; reading books."

"You devil." Oscar laughed, amused.

"What is it? C'mon, hold it up-" Ruby said, wanting to get the footage of the journal.

"No, no, no -- no way." Oscar stood up and gently got the camera out of his face.

Ruby frowned. "Hey, what gives?"

"The deal was for a coffin, that's it." Oscar said.

"Wait a minute, if my show hadn't funded this expedition, you would've-" Ruby was arguing when Oscar stopped her.

"Hey, hey... you got your story, lady." Nate tried to argue back.

"Something tells me they had a deal... only for it to go down." Mercury chuckled.

"If he doesn't want the book to be published, it must be important for it to be unknown." Emerald giggled.

"Look, Mr. Drake, you signed a contract." Elena argued, getting frustrated. Oscar just simply laughs.

Oscar blinked. "Ummm, my last name is Pine... not Drake."

Lucy giggled. "Remember, Oscar, this is an alternate version of you."

"Oh, right."

"I have a right to see every single thing that-" Ruby was still arguing when suddenly Oscar's face grew serious when noticed something in distance off-screen.

Pyrrha grew concerned. "Is something wrong?"

"Woah, woah..." Oscar began, interrupting Ruby. "Could you hold that thought?" He quickly runs over to the side of the boat and picks up a radio communicator.

Harriet frowns. "Something is about to happen."

"Oz? Uh, we got some trouble. Hurry it up." Oscar said through the radio.

"Ozpin is here too?" Qrow asked, surprised.

"Yep." Andy answered.

"Well if he's here he better hurry." Tai said, concerned. "My daughter and her friend are in trouble."

"Okay, okay, what's going on?" Ruby said, walking over to the crate and setting down her camera as Oscar walked to the other side of the ship.

"Uh... pirates." Oscar answered, shrugging.

"Pirates?!" Ruby exclaimed, surprised.

"Pirates?!" Most of the audience yelled along with Ruby.

Oscar picks up a white metal case and opens it, revealing some handguns.

"Yeah. The modern kind. They don't take prisoners." Oscar grabbed a gun and glanced back at Ruby "...least not male prisoners."

"I feel so much better." Ruby sarcastically retorts.

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Elena asked. She gets nervous as she notices a small fleet of motorboats in the distance getting closer.

"Uh, sh- shouldn't we call the authorities or something?" Ruby suggested as Oscar loaded his gun.

"That's a great idea." Caroline nodded.

"That'd be a great idea but... we don't exactly have a permit to be here." Oscar said, giving Ruby a sheepish look.

Ruby frowned. "What?!"

"What?!" Even everyone else was angry about this.

"He took her to an open ocean without knowing the consequences?!" Ironwood angrily questioned. "Just how reckless can he be?!"

"Yeah, so unless you wanna end up in a Panamanian jail, we should probably handle this ourselves." Oscar said as he put the clip in the pistol.

"Wh- what's worse?" Ruby asked, more worried than ever.

"You can die?" Robyn suggested.

"You've obviously haven't been in a Panamanian jail. Do you know how to use one of these?" Oscar asked, holding a gun out to Ruby.

She reluctantly takes the gun, holding it awkwardly. "Yeah, it's like a camera... you just, you point and shoot, right?"

"Technically, you AIM and shoot." Neptune pointed out.

"Not the time, Neptune." Weiss retorts.

"Good girl." Oscar compliments, grabbing his own gun. "Here we go."

Oscar moves to the side of the boat and takes cover behind a crate. Ruby nervously does the same as the pirates approach them. "How the hell did they find us out here?" She asked.

"Ah, these guys have been tailing me for weeks." Oscar replied. "Thought I lost them."

"Well clearly you didn't." May said.

"What's the history between them?" Fiona asked.

"Err, we'll tell you later." Theo said.

"What'd you do to piss them off?" Ruby asked.

"It's kind of a long story." Oscar said.

A pirate boat drives up to them and a pair of pirates on board begins shooting them. Oscar and Ruby shot back. They hit the pirates and the boat drives off. Another boat pulls up and men on it open fire as well.

"These guys don't like you much, do they?" Ruby asked.

"Less talking, more shooting!" Oscar exclaimed as they shot the boats out at sea. He then silently talks to himself. "Hurry up, Oz."

"Please hurry, Ozpin." Summer pleaded, worried.

"They're climbing aboard!" Ruby exclaimed as Oscar got up and went to the back of the boat and fired a round, hitting the two pirates aboard. Two more pirates climbed up to the boat and attacked. Ruby shoots one while Oscar engages the other in hand-to-hand combat. He beats the pirate up, tossing him overboard.

Nora whistled, impressed. "Nice move,Oscar!"

"Come on, Oz!" Oscar exclaimed, wondering where the hell he was.

Just then, another pirate boat pulls up, this time with a mounted machine gun turret. It opens fire, forcing Oscar and Ruby to take cover.

Yang growled. "You got to be fucking kidd- Hurry up, Ozpin!"

Even the Beacon Headmaster was wondering what was taking his other self so long. Doesn't he realize the two people will die if he doesn't hurry?

Just then, another explosion happened. This time, the boat with the machine gun exploded.

The audience was confused about what happened.

"What's that?" Ruby asked.

Suddenly, a red and white seaplane appears from the sky and swoops down near the boats.

"Whoo! Alright Oz!" Oscar cheered in excitement as Oz's plane flew right over the last pirate ship causing it to drive away.

Summer sighed in relief. "Oh thank goodness."

"Took his sweet time." Tai said, shaking his head.

"Oh- I don't think I'm getting my security deposit back." Elena said.

Oz's plane went around the back and took out another boat.

"Cavalry's here!" Oscar yelled, indicating that they needed to move. Just as Oz took out the boat, more explosions happened. Oscar and Ruby ran to each other.

"The ship's on fire!" Kali exclaimed, worried. "They need to get out of there!"

"Whole ship's gonna blow! We gotta jump!" Nate yelled.

"Yeah..." Ruby nodded and went to run but turned back, "oh wait!"

"Ruby! What are you doing?!" Weiss demanded, confused and concerned. "The whole ships on fire!"

Even Oscar was confused. "What are you doing??"

Ruby goes back to grab her camera.

"Ruby, forget the camera just GO!!" Yang shouted, worried.

Ruby grabs her camera and goes back to the side of the boat towards Oscar. "Okay, okay."

"Come on!" Oscar shouted.

The duo jumped over the side and into the ocean as the boat's interior burst into flames.

Oscar sighed in relief. "Phew, that was close." He glances at Ruby. "I'm not trying to be mean, Ruby but... you almost got yourself killed by trying to get that camera."

The scythe-wielder nodded. "I know. Sorry."

Weiss rolled her eyes. "There's a thing called buying a new one."

Ruby pouted. "I said sorry. Jeez."

Oscar and Ruby both swam towards the seaplane docked in the water as the boat sinks behind them. The side door of the plane opens revealing the businessman and con-artist Ozpin, wearing a light red button-down shirt and tan pants.

He starts laughing. "I can't leave you two alone for a minute, can I?"

Salem notices a cigar in his mouth. "Since when do you smoke, Professor Ozpin?"

The Beacon Headmaster just chuckles as he sips on his mug. "I was drinker BEFORE become a smoker back in my immortal year, dear."

"Ah, we had everything under control until they blew up the boat." Oscar said. He looks at Ruby. "You okay?"

"Nothing that years of therapy won't fix." Ruby replied. She handed her camera to Sully and climbed up first.

"Well, if it isn't the talented Ruby Rose." Ozpin said, helping her up.

Ruby smiled and giggled. "Awww, no need for compliments, Professor."

Ozpin chuckled. "Just trying to be nice, Miss Rose."

"Flattery will get you screen time." Ruby said, getting on the plane.

"Yeah. I'm more of a behind the scenes guy." Ozpin took the cigar out of his mouth. "The name's Ozpin. But you can call me Oz."

Ruby chuckled. "If you say so... Oz."

Ozpin laughs and then pulls Oscar up. "I got you."

Oscar smiles as he enters the seaplane, shutting the door behind him. "Thanks."

"No problem, kid." Ozpin gets back in the pilot's seat with Oscar sitting next to him in the cock-pilot while Ruby sits in the cargo hold behind them, inspecting her camera.

"Whaddya say we get out of here before we attract anymore attention?" Oscar suggested.

Yang nodded. "Good idea."

Oscar took off his harness as Ozpin started flying the plane. "Well?" Ozpin questioned.

Oscar held the journal. "A little present from Sir Francis."

Ozpin laughed a bit. "So you found the coffin?" He asked as Oscar started flipping the pages. "Wait a minute - is that what I think it is?"

Nate laughs. "Drake's lost diary. He faked his death, just like I said, Oz."

"He must've been onto something big if he hid that diary and faked his death." Blake said.

"Yeah, well, let's just keep that between us." Ozpin whisper.

"Thanks for the loan, Mr. Drake." Ruby said, turning around, handing Oscar back the gun. "I think I've earned a look at that diary, when we land."

Ozpin looks at Oscar confusingly. The young boy just shrugged his shoulders and put the gun away.

Finally, the trio landed close to sunset in a marina in Panama. Ruby, now wearing a red tank top and dark brown cargo shorts, is outside speaking on a cell phone, pacing back and forth.

Oscar, now wearing a light green shirt, brown blue jeans and brown gun holster, was in the boat going over the journal with Ozpin.

"So look, when Drake sailed into the Pacific, he took the Spanish fleet completely by surprise. He captured their ships, he took all their maps, their letters, their journals- and he recorded everything in this diary." Nate explained.

"Uh-huh, so this-" Ozpin tried to say when Oscar cut him off.

"But when he got back to England, Queen Elizabeth confiscated all of his charts and logbooks -including this one - and then swore his entire crew to silence." Nate continued explaining.

Glynda couldn't help but smile. Oscar was like a kid in a candy store any time he caught onto something.

"Yeah, so this-" Ozpin tried to finish.

"Y'see, Drake discovered something on that voyage, Sully - something so secret, and so valuable, they couldn't risk it getting out." Oscar finished his rant and went across from Ozpin.

Ozpin, losing his patience, took the cigar out of his mouth. "All right, Oscar - just pretend for a minute that I don't really care about any of that stuff, and cut to the chase, would ya?"

"No surprise since this version of you is different from your Ozpin." Qrow chuckled.

Oscar scoffs as he starts flipping through the pages. "A man only interested in the climax. You must be a real hit with the ladies."

"Never had any complaints." Ozpin said.

Half of the audience laughed while some were a bit disgusted.

"Okay then, I'll jump to the good part, just for you." Oscar said. He flips to a certain page and shows it to Ozpin. He sees a map of a territory in Northwestern South America. Marked on the map at a certain location was "El Dorado".

Ozpin laughs. "El goddamn Dorado...."

"He was onto something big time, all right." Oscar said, very pleased with the information.

"Does it say anything else?" Ozpin asked, grabbing the diary.

"Oh, so now you're interested, huh?" Oscar questioned, grabbing the paper back with an amused smile.

"Yeah." Ozpin replied.

Oscar flips to the last page. "Well unfortunately no. The last page was torn out." He shows Ozpin the end of the diary where it looks like the edge of ripped paper.

Nora frowned. "Well that's not good."

"I'm sure they'll find a way." Ren stated.

"I'm telling you, Oz... This is it - this is finally it." Oscar said, walking to Ozpin.

"Yeah... Only, we got one little problem." Ozpin said, pointing to Elena outside the boat on the dock.

Ruby and her friends and family were shocked by Ozpin's rudeness.

"How am I the problem?? I helped you." Ruby pointed out.

"Yeah, my sister can be a real help to you both!" Yang defended her sister.

"Relax guys." Lucy said. "Even though Oscar and Ozpin leave her, she still finds a way."

I don't know whether to be relieved or worried about that." Summer said.

Ruby is still on the phone talking. "Yes, that's what I said - it blew up. It sank." She pauses for a minute.

"She must be talking about what happened on the boat with the pirates." Flynt said, shaking his head.

Neon giggled. "She must be in trouble."

Ruby continues. "Not, that's why we have insurance, right." She pauses again.

"It would seem that the boat was loaned to her and was very expensive." Kobalt said.

"Oh no, the camera?" Ruby asked, looking at her camera." No, the camera's fine. Don't worry about the camera. No... still good as new..."

"Oz, the girl can hold her own. You shoulda seen her." Oscar said, defending Ruby.

"Yeah. She's a fighter. Not like our Ruby, but she is." Weiss said, also defending Ruby.

"Fine, you go on out there, and you tell her, "We just found the lost City of Gold." Maybe her producer can get it on the air tonight." Ozpin said, sarcastically.

"Oh, come on..." Oscar brushed Ozpin off.

"This version of Ruby doesn't look like a thief, so you shouldn't question her judgement so quickly." Blake said.

"Maybe they can convince her to not give away the treasure's location." Pyrrha suggested.

"Oscar - do you trust me?" Ozpin asked.

"Covering you, yes. Judgment of women, no." Summer said, showing she didn't like the version Ozpin judging her daughter so quickly.

Oscar scoffed, smiling. "Oh come on Oz, of course I do."

"Cause we're gonna have every two-bit scumbag in the world racing us to this treasure, unless we cut her loose right now." Ozpin said, firmly

"He has a good point." Qrow agreed. "It would be dangerous if Ruby goes with them."

"You're a real gentleman, Oz." Oscar sighs, looking at Ozpin.

"I know. It stinks. She'll get over it." Ozpin said.

Back with Ruby, she's still on the phone. "No, I don't care if we're over budget. I mean- Do you realize this could be the biggest story of the year." She pauses.

"But wouldn't you, Oscar and Ozpin go to jail for not having a permit?" Ren questioned. "I don't think your producer would appreciate that."

Ruby notices Ozpin waving at her and she waves back, smiling. "Hi." She goes back to her phone, frowning. "No, I don't trust 'em, okay? That's why we need to move fast. So just get me the camera crew and I promise you that-"

She was cut off by the sound of the boat's motor starting up. She turns back and sees Oscar and Ozpin driving away from the dock.

"Son of a bitch." Ruby cursed under her breath. She runs towards the end of the dock, shouting, "HEY!" She stops as the boat drives off the signs. "Should've seen that one coming."

Both Oscar and Ozpin felt bad for leaving Ruby. They hoped she'd forgive them.

End of chapter.

"Sorry, Ruby." Oscar apologized.

The crimson smiled. "It's okay. It's probably for the best."

"First she goes to an open ocean with a permit and then gets abandoned on an island." Roman said, shaking his head. "And people say I'M bad."

Neo giggled. "She's gonna punch them in the face, I guarantee it."

Theo chuckled. "So what do you guys think."

Yang hummed in thought. "It was pretty good."

"There weren't that many actions but it was alright." Nora admits.

"Can't wait for the next chapter." Jaune said, smiling.

"But I'm confused." Oscar said. "Why do my, Ruby and Ozpin look older."

Andy smiled. "I'm glad you ask. In this trilogy you and Ruby are in your late 20s while Ozpin is in his mid 50s."

Ruby blushed. 'Oscar looks even more handsome.'

Yang noticed her sister's red face and grinned.

Lucy pressed the button to the next chapter.
