The next day arrived fast as expected, Jungkook got ready and made his way to Taehyung's room.
Usually Jungkook will just knock on the door and wait for Taehyung's response but this time Jungkook just went inside without waiting for any reply.
Taehyung was almost ready. Jungkook entered in his room making Taehyung flinch.
"Oh kook! You scared me once again! Why you have to be this cruel?"
Taehyung made a crying face.
"So what? I'm your bodyguard plus best friend I guess? So I can enter anytime and moreover it's your fault that you don't lock your room"
Jungkook said shrugging his shoulder casually and sat on the bed.
"Yes yes, Mr cute bodyguard"
Taehyung showed his boxy smile. A beautiful shy smile crept on Jungkook's lips because he got compliment from his crush, duh!
"Just a while kook then we will have our breakfast and will head to office okay"
Jungkook nodded.
"Take your time, hyungie"
Jungkook said and started to scroll in his mobile.
~Few minutes later~
"Okay I'm done let's go!"
"Yes eomma and appa are waiting for us from at least 10 minutes. "
Taehyung looked at him confusedly.
"I know that they always waits for us to come but how do you know the exact time?"
Taehyung asked confusedly while Jungkook just shrugged.
"Of course hyungie, through the chat! I'm talking in our group chat"
Now the confusion of Taehyung grew more.
"Group chat? But I didn't get any notification."
Taehyung checked his mobile, Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"How would you know Mr. Kim Taehyung? When you yourself muted our notification"
Taehyung chuckled nervously.
"Ah! Jungkook they both are waiting for us right? Come fast, let's not make them wait more."
Taehyung hurriedly made his way downstairs, Jungkook chuckled seeing his cute hyungie.
At downstairs
Everyone were almost done eating their breakfast and Mrs. Kim already went in her room, so Mr. Kim asked Taehyung,
"Why you came early yesterday?"
Taehyung gulped down the food.
Jungkook eyed both father-son duo carefully.
"I-I was done with work early!"
Jungkook glanced at Taehyung suspiciously.
'Wasn't he tired yesterday? He himself told eomma that he was stressed and now he is saying that he was done with work?' Jungkook sighed, thinking that it's again a lie by Taehyung. Jungkook don't understand that why Taehyung is defending those person.
"As per my information, the work load comparing any other day was much more yesterday, Taehyung?"
Mr. Kim said sternly, Taehyung closed his eyes in distress.
Mr. Kim called Taehyung by his full name and this moment both Taehyung and Jungkook know that Taehyung messed up, but to cover the situation Taehyung tried to defend.
"N-no dad--"
"Don't you dare to lie! Jimin gave me all information regarding yesterday's work load, and to say that there was plenty of works pending and there was not a single chance to take a half day leave I guess"
Mr. Kim firmly stated making Taehyung drown in guilt for lying.
"It isn't necessary my boy that I should be always present in the office, so now tell me why you took a half day leave..."
Mr. Kim continued.
"And why are you lying in the first place, Taehyung? Jungkook wasn't just one day with you and I'm hearing a lie from you? Please tell me bear what is happening to you, can't I solve this, hm? Can't you share your problems with your dad?"
Mr. Kim said softly.
"I am sorry dad I lied, actually I-I.."
'Think about the reason Taehyung!' Taehyung paused in midway thinking something reasonable reason.
"Actually appa he was stressed, he talked with eomma but now is hesitating to tell you the truth, right hyung?"
Mr. Kim worried looked at his son for response but Taehyung coughed suddenly.
Jungkook handled him water, Taehyung took it and gulped it in one go.
"Is he saying the truth?"
Mr. Kim asked worriedly patting his back.
"U-um dad he--"
Mr. Kim cut Taehyung off with sad sigh.
"Why do you always lie to me Tae bear, don't-- d-don't you love me?"
Mr. Kim's voice cracked a bit.
The guilt in Taehyung's heart increased when he saw his father this sad, he glared at Jungkook who was worriedly looking at Mr. Kim.
"I love you dad! I'm sorry... I just don't wanted to stress you out, I-I am sorry"
Taehyung immediately hugged his dad who was on the verge of crying.
"Sometimes I think that I'm controlling your life isn't it?"
Mr. Kim said hugging back.
"Nooo dad this is the least thing I don't want you to think! That's why I wasn't sharing with you but Jung--"
Mr. Kim cut him off.
"Any single bad word for my kookie and you will see the bad side of your dad"
Mr. Kim growled lowly, Taehyung gulped in fear and muttered a small sorry.
"Because of him I got to know your problems! You have to share with me otherwise Jungkook is there for me, right kook?"
Mr. Kim said looking at Jungkook lovingly.
Jungkook nodded his head hesitantly, because he is hiding the big secret regarding Mr. Kim's son getting bullied by his own trustworthy employee's.
"Okay enough of this melodrama, we'll head to office"
Mr. Kim announced, Taekook stared at Mr. Kim confused.
"What are you both looking at? I know I'm handsome"
Mr. Kim said sassily.
'Like father like son' Jungkook chuckled.
"Who told you that you are coming with us?"
Taehyung strictly asked to his dad.
"I don't need anyone's permission my boy, I'm my own boss"
Mr. Kim replied in a swag.
"What about your health? I don't care about anything, you aren't coming and that's final!!"
Taehyung said more like ordered making his dad pout.
"But I styled my hairs I wanted to show off and there's so much work too"
Mr. Kim said in small voice.
Jungkook widen his eyes, he controlled his urge to squish his appa's cheeks. Mr. Kim was looking very adorable.
"Okay fine! I will tell this to mom that you are going to office to show off your styled hairs"
Taehyung stretched the last word and in seconds Mr. Kim started to sweat hardly.
"You aren't going to tell your mom right, baby bear?"
Mr. Kim nervously asked.
Jungkook was enjoying the drama 'I should have record this!' he thought and pull out his mobile from pocket and secretly started to shoot.
"I'm going to tell mom~"
Taehyung mockingly stated.
"Nooo~"
"Yesss~"
"You are my son so be it don't try to be my father"
Mr. Kim glared at Taehyung.
"Ohh I'm scared"
Taehyung said pretending to be scare.
"But TaeTae"
Mr. Kim pouted.
"No dad you have two options either you have to take a rest by staying at home or I will tell this whole hair style conversation to mom!"
Taehyung smugly said. Mr. Kim showed his best puppy eyes but Taehyung being Taehyung he shook his head, so Mr. Kim sighed in defeat.
"Fine! I am not coming to office I will take rest but you will not tell this to mom! Okay?"
Taehyung nodded happily and hugged his dad tightly before leaving for office.
Jungkook was busy in recording the video,
"You are coming or not?"
Taehyung coldly asked Jungkook.
"Y-yes"
Taehyung made his way to their car before waving bye to Mr. Kim.
'What's with this attitude? Anyways this is my least concern!' Jungkook huffed.
They settled in the car and drove off to office.
"You don't have to tell everything to dad!"
Jungkook shook his head.
"I told him the real reason because you weren't able to find any suitable reason so that's why told him, I thought I will get honoured, but see you are scolding me!"
Jungkook pouted slightly, Taehyung chuckled and muttered sorry.

Taehyung slammed the file on the office table harshly. But Jungkook he was unbothered.
Jungkook took a seat on his respective table casually, didn't bother to see Taehyung is angry.
This fuel Taehyung's anger more and he stood infront of Jungkook.
"What was that?"
Taehyung asked rather harshly.
"What?"
Jungkook asked in void of emotions.
"Don't you know?! Huh?"
Taehyung shouted but Jungkook was again unbothered.
~Flashback~
Taekook entered in the office building and Jimin as usual hugged his soulmate tightly but Taehyung screamed slightly making Jungkook angry, he pushed Jimin very hard that he collapsed on the nearby table making Jimin head lightly injured.
Everyone in the building gasped while some of the employees helped Jimin to stand up.
"JUNGKOOK!!"
Taehyung yelled at Jungkook but Jungkook was busy glaring at Jimin.
Jungkook just made his way to Jimin to hit, Jimin scooted away hurriedly. Taehyung was enough to hold Jungkook tightly.
"What did you do? Huh? Why he screamed?!"
Jimin was confused.
"I-I don't know"
Jimin said lightly checking himself and it clicked in his mind.
"Leave me hyung! And don't you lie you are his soulmate then wh--"
Jimin cut him saying.
"Ah! I-I am sorry Jungkook this pen was in my hand and when I hugged TaeTae... It-it may be or may be not pierced in his b-back"
Jimin said stuttering time to time.
Jimin sighed in relief when Jungkook calmed a bit. So he slowly made his way to Taehyung, whatever the situation is he too can't see his soulmate hurt, so despite being glared by Jungkook he made his way to Taehyung and checked his back and gasped when he saw a red patch on his back.
Jimin's eyes got teary,
"Sorry TaeTae... It must be hurting, I was so excited to meet you and I-I--"
Taehyung cut him off immediately.
"Hey chim... Don't cry it's nothing see your head is bleeding! Come let me treat you"
Jungkook just glared at the duo.
"No! I'm sorry Jimin hyung to hurt you I was angry when hyung yelped in pain and I'm sorry to say but can you yourself treat you head?"
Jungkook said rather coldly, and Jimin being the sweet hooman he is, he gave a smile before nodding his head.
"It's okay and don't need to be sorry, I can understand"
Jimin said it to Jungkook and winked at him.
Taehyung was watching this scene fuming in anger.
Jungkook didn't wait a second and left from there, while Taehyung was going behind Jimin but Jimin stopped him.
"TaeTae I will be fine, go do your work and don't scold my kookie, it was usual to act like that okay?"
Taehyung sighed helplessly and nodded his head before hugging his soulmate tightly.
"Done watching drama now do your work!"
Jimin announced to other employees.
Yeonju watched the whole scene and he shivered in fear.
"Hope so Taehyung didn't complaint yesterday's shit, otherwise next turn will be mine!"
~Flashback ended.~
"I didn't done anything wrong hyung, I was just angry and can't you see this bruise!!"
Jungkook said standing up slamming the table and pointed at the red patch on Taehyung's back.
"I know!! But the way you pushed, he got hurt too Jungkook, he injured his head!"
Jungkook didn't respond and took out the first aid kit.
"Remove your shirt"
Jungkook said taking out the cotton and ointment.
"What?"
Taehyung was confused.
"I said remove your shirt so I can treat your wound"
Taehyung nodded hesitantly.
He removed his shirt and stared at Jungkook.
"What are you staring at? Turn around"
Jungkook said rolling his eyes.
"I am letting you treat my wound doesn't mean that I forgive you, the way you behaved with Jimin I didn't like it a bit, he is my best friend not only that but he is my family and he is hurt because of you"
Taehyung stated coldly.
"Let me tell you one thing hyungie I am not guilty, it was act of impulse and I am sorry for what happened to Jiminie hyung but the way I reacted I am not sorry for it"
Jungkook said applying the ointment on his back.
Taehyung shook his head slightly 'What happened to him?' but he didn't noticed that Jungkook was crying silently.
'I am feeling very bad but I can't help I will apologise to Jimin hyungie afterwards'
