The Pass was unbearable.
The Misty Mountains weren't white at the top for nothing.
Before much of traveling upward, we were struggling through up to five feet of snow.
I was five foot six inches, so it was almost to my neck at some places. Luckily, Aragorn and Boromir, who were over six feet tall, could plow through and at least flatten the snow a bit for the rest of us to get through.
After awhile, we came to a place where the snow was a bit more shallow.
We were traveling along at a quick pace for once when Frodo slipped and fell, rolling downhill. Fortunately, Aragorn was there to catch him and help him up. Frodo immediately felt around his neck for the Ring, where it usually hung on a chain around his neck.
It was gone!!
