The only girl, Georgia is already a lady now. She's more prim and proper like her mom now, being careful on what her words and actions.
Her two brothers carrying their own family, she's only a college a sophomore college student. She can't leave her parents, she's still dependent to them.
Her journey in College was the best, crying there but also acing the student council performance, being on dean list every semester.
She have a friends, a true friends for her. Her past experiences aren't the best but she's there now being alive and more stronger.
"Georgia." A boy called out, she look behind and found him.
A beautiful man, with a two block haircut with a bangs. The deep set eyes that Georgia fall in to. He's nice guy, they're friend since freshmen but the thing is they study in different schools.
"Jonathan." She smile widely, "Hello Gia." He passes the flower that he always giving when they meet.
"Nate, may sasabihin ako." Georgia, closes her laptop and signal him to sit down in front of her.
"What is it, Gia?" He asked feeling uneasy.
"Hmm..." Georgia sip her coffee to hide her smile. "What is it? Look namumula ka na." Jonathan said chuckle a little.
"Wala mainit kasi." Georgia rolled her eyes, she grabbed her phone when a notification pop up.
*Daddy*
"Hey where are you?"
"Are you with that J again?"
"Can't even remember his name."
"This is your mom by the way."
Georgia blink a little, "Hindi naman ganyan mag type si mommy eh."
"I'm sorry?" Jonathan cluelessly stare at her again.
"Ay hindi si Daddy nag text." Georgia said sighing it's always like this when Greggy knows that Georgia is with Jonathan Greggy trying to still the spotlight.
"I'll text him na lang, para ipagpapaalam ka." Jonathan said, Georgia shake her head. "Sama ka sa akin." She said.
"Ha?"
"Last time diba you ask me if pwede ka bang manligaw..." She pauses a little.
"Papayag lang ako kapag nakaharap mo si daddy."
"Oo naman, yun din naman balak ko syempre hinihintay ko lang approval mo. Nakakahiya naman kung hindi mo alam na hihingin ko kamay mo sa kanila ng hindi mo alam." Nathan smile.
"Hingin ang kamay? Balak mo bang pakasalan ako?" Georgia chuckled again.
"Oo, soon." He grinned.
"Ewan ko sa'yo tara na." She stand up trying to hide her blush, grabbing all her stuff.
Greggy tapping his phone, "Dear, mabait naman si Nathan." Irene said.
"Kahit na ayaw ko pa rin." He doesn't like the idea of his only daughter is all grown up now.
"Ayan na naman tayo Greggy eh." Irene
"That's true naman mom, what if mabait lang sa umpisa?" Alfonso said.
"Ginatungan mo naman." Irene glare at her son.
Luis chuckled, "Were just protecting her mom."
"Over over na yan ha kayong tatlo talaga."
"Kasi dear ayaw naman namin makaramdam ng sakit si Georgia." Greggy said.
"Para niyo na ding sinaktan kung ganyan kayo." She whispered a little.
"Mom naman it's not like that." Luis said.
"Bahala nga kayo diyan."
"Kinakabahan ka ba?" Georgia asked, patting his shoulder a little. "No, alam ko naman malinis ang konsensya ko." He answered.
"Para sa atin... Para sa'yo." He added.
"No need naman to do this..."
"Shh Gia, I love you. If it's for you then I'll do it with an open heart. Ganon din naman haharap at haharap ako sa ganito." He smile thinking a positive scenario.
"Thank you ha."
"Bakit naman?" He look at her, they are walking at the big street in Diliman.
Georgia is a Political Science student from Diliman, while Jonathan is taking an agriculture course in Los Baños.
Jonathan traveling from Los Baños to Diliman so he can pick Georgia, they will go to Taguig and Jonathan will also going home to Cavite after sending Georgia home.
"Kasi andyan ka pa rin, you still doing the things na ginagawa mo noon. Hindi ba masyado akong sagabal sa'yo?" Georgia said, she's always thinking about it since they're both busy.
"Hindi, ginagawa ko to dahil hindi sa nakasanayan ko, kundi dahil sa alam kong masaya ka dito at masaya yung puso ko kapag ganon." He answered.
"Hindi ka natatakot kay daddy?" She ask.
"Hindi ako natatakot, it's such an honor nga na ma meet ulit sila eh... As your... Manliligaw." Jonathan hold her arms as he switched their position, doing the sidewalk rule.
"Hindi ka ba nahihirapan?" She asked.
"Hindi nga hahaha! You don't need to worry Gia. I'm all goods, alam kong may papatunguhan eh."
"Lakas talaga ng kompyansa mo sa sarili mo." She laugh at him, but liking how he's being his own self.
"Dad." Georgia holding his arms, "Sus maryosep tumataas ata ang dugo ko sayo." Greggy overreacting sigh.
"Sabi niyo kasi... Iuwi ko kapag may manliligaw ako." Georgia look down a little.
"Sir... Kaya ko naman po gawin lahat ng gusto niyong gawin para po pumayag kayong ligawan ko si Georgia." Jonathan said, in the verge of kneeling in front of Greggy.
"Kaya pala J yung pendant ng necklace mo." Luis commented.
Georgia glare at him, "Sabi mo kasi meaning nun Jesus." He continue to laugh without a sound.
"Greggy naman." Irene said massaging Greggy's shoulder.
"Bata pa kasi yung kapatid namin so parang mahirap pang ibigay sa iba." Alfonso said, "Hindi naman kasi ako bata kuya." Georgia hissed.
"She went to a lot of heartbreak na, na wala kaming alam. Mahirap na diba." Luis also said.
"Makakapag tiwalaan naman po ako sir, ilang taon ko na pong kilala si Georgia. I can tell you na mahal na mahal ko po anak at kapatid niyo." Jonathan answered.
Greggy sigh, leaning at his chair while starring at the ceiling. "Dad, please." She whispered with an teary eyes, if she's only can decide it, she can date him as soon as he confess, but for her family sake she need to wait until they will approve on it.
"Sige, pumapayag ako..." He stop a little that made Jonathan heart to beat faster, even what's consequence as long as it will lead him to Georgia he will take it.
"Basta kapag lalabas kayo with guard or kasama yung dalawang kuya niya." The two boys smile, and signal Jonathan "Narinig mo ba yun?"
"Opo sir, okay lang po."
But Georgia doesn't want that idea, "Dad!"
"It's a yes or no lang. Yun lang naman eh, para ma prove nga na karapatdapat ba to." Alfonso grinned.
"Parang mga wala kayong anak para bantayan ako ha." Georgia is annoyed about it.
"Nako, we can take them naman." Luis said.
"Hindi ba masyadong sobrang higpit naman?" Irene glare at her husband.
"No, it's for their safety too. Pumayag na nga diba?" Greggy answer.
"And by the way, you can take have some date outside but there's a time limit."
"Ayan na naman daddy eh di naman na ako bata."
"Still, do you agree with that Mr. Mendoza?" Greggy ask.
"Yes sir. I'm so thankful na binigyan niyo po ako ng pagkakataong ipakita na mahal na mahal ko si Georgia." Jonathan smile at her, giving a warmth smile.
She's just sigh, "Thank you ha."
Jonathan been courting her for months now, He's watching Georgia to do her chores. Georgia just like it even there's a maid, she wants to help out.
"I'll help you na." Jonathan pulled his trouser pants up to his knee.
He help her scratching every used utensils. "I'm thinking about something."
"About what?" Georgia ask.
"About our future."
That made Georgia blush, "Hahaha! So fast."
"Syempre hahaha! They said we should think the future."
"Do you think we will leave the past behind?" Georgia ask.
"No, it's a beautiful journey too much pain but so sweet for us who succeeded our mission."
"Daming sabi." She chuckled again.
"I love you." He whispered out of nowhere.
"I love you too, Andy!" Alfonso broke their moments, sitting at the chair infront of the counter top.
"Si kuya talaga!" Georgia splash him a water.
"Hahahaha! Sus wala pa ngang label nag I love you na ka agad."
"Di pa nga kinakasal nagka anak na." Georgia hissed, that made Fonso rolled his eyes.
"Talo ka pala eh hahaha!" Luis said laughing about it.
They went outside for a dinner, they eat to a self cook restaurant, along with Jonathan.
Being shy towards Georgia's family, he offer that he will going to cook for them while they are waiting.
Greggy like this boy but the thoughts of Georgia being a lady now he can't still take that as a fact.
He grilled the food, liking the stories around him. He also started to get attach with the Araneta and his love for Georgia getting more deeper and serious.
"You should eat a lot." He said almost whispering while peeling the shrimp skin so he can give it to Georgia.
"I know, you too. You should eat too." Georgia pick up a meet and it went to Jonathan's mouth, "Eat na." She said waiting for him to take the food.
Greggy watching it, he turn his eyes to Luis.
"Ehem! Pareng Nathan." Luis stand up, "Tabi tayo." He added looking at Georgia, "Paganon ka."
She frowned, "Lagot kayo sa akin mamaya pag uwi." She whispered watching her kuya in between them.
The dinner ended, they bid their goodbyes.
"Una na ako Gia." Jonathan said opening his arms so they can hug, but suddenly Luis push his older brother to receive the hug.
"Wow, that's a nice hug ha." Alfonso chuckled.
Jonathan turn in to red while still hugging Alfonso. On the other side Luis started to laugh his stomach out at the sight of it.
"Loko-loko ka talaga." Xandra look at her husband, "Ako lang to." He grinned.
"Sumo sobra na kayo Greggy ha." Irene said, being annoyed at it too.
"Hayaan mo na, para masigurado natin kung seryoso ba yung lalaki." Greggy answer.
"Mukhang hindi pa ba?"
"I know, it's too much. But, it's also the memories count and their hardwork. I don't my daughter to lose herself again." Greggy hissed.
The truth is, it's their most scare thing, that Georgia started to grew up on her own and also leave her parents behind.
