Y/n POV
"Are you almost ready?" I asked Liz
"Yes, just give me one second" she pleaded
"We have to get going" I told her
"Why? It's literally only a ten minute drive" she told me
"I just want to sign the lease, give the deposit, and call it good" I told her
"It's not like we can move in right away. She said towards the end of next month" Liz told me
"I know, but I want to sign the lease before I change my mind" I admitted
"Wait, are you having doubts?" She asked me
I shrugged
"Y/n" she said
"Maybe a little. I'm just scared to move out I think" I told her
"Don't be. Our parents are just down the street" she told me
"I know but-" I began
"We'll be fine. We can do this" she squeezed my shoulder in a comforting manner
I gave a gentle smile with a nod
"I'm ready" she said standing up
I nodded as we began walking down the stairs
"Are you girls going to sign?" My mom asked
"Yea" I said with a sigh
"She's a little nervy" Liz told her
"It'll be alright. You girls can do this" my mom encouraged
"Thank you mom" I smiled
She nodded as we were heading out the door and to my car. We got there quite quickly and Joan was already waiting for us in her office that is in the main lobby of the apartment building
"Hi girls, I'm so glad you decided to go through with this!" She greeted us
"We are too. We're super excited" I told her with a smile
"Shall we get started?" She asked
Liz and I nodded
"So you girls understand that if at any point someone else decides to permanently live with you girls in that third bedroom, you have to let me know as soon as possible so that way we can put them on the lease" she told us
"We understand" I told her
"Alright, just making sure" she confirmed
Liz nodded.
Joan continued to go over everything as Liz and I listened, hummed, and nodded in response
"Whenever you girls are ready, sign here, and here" Joan said pointing to the signature lines
Liz and I each took a deep breath before grabbing the pens and signing
"One last one here" Joan flipped the page
Once we were done, Liz looked at me with a big cheesy smile
"Congratulations, you two now rent an apartment!" Joan smiled
"Thank you so much" Liz and I began to stand up and as did she
We shook hands before Joan told us the exact date we can move in and Liz and I nodded. With almost a month until move in day, we had enough time to start packing
"You girls are all set, thank you again" Joan as we began to say our goodbyes
"No, thank you" I shook her hand one last time
Liz and I began to walk out, but she wasn't really paying attention which almost caused her to run into a pole before I grabbed her arm and moved her out of the way
"What?" She asked
"You almost ran into that pole" I told her
"I did?" She asked
"Maybe if you got your nose out of your phone, you would know" I told her
"Sorry, its John" she said
"Mmhm" I hummed

"So you girls are all set?" My mom asked me as I was helping her with the dishes and my dad was sweeping
"Yup, we can move in May nineteenth" I told her
"That's almost a month away" my dad said
"Yea, but it gives us time to pack and everything" I told him
"Ah true" he said as he was finishing up
"I think that's all" my mom stated as she looked around for more dishes but failed to find any
"You're sure?" I asked
She nodded
Just as I was about the head up to my room, the doorbell rang. My parents looked at each with a knowing look
"Elizabeth" they both said at the same time
I laughed as I walked over to the door and opened it to reveal the blonde herself
"We called it!" My mom exclaimed
Liz gave me a confused look as she walked in
"They knew it was you" I said
"How?" She asked
"Because you're the only one that comes over at random times" I laughed
"Oh right" she laughed
'What's up?" I asked
"Want to go for a ride?" She asked
I looked at my parents for permission and they nodded
"Where?" I asked
"Just for a ride" she said
"Okay but where?" I asked
"I'll tell you in the car" she told me
"Alright, I guess" I said as I began to follow her out of my house
"Y/n" my mom called
I turned my head to look at her and my dad
"Stay safe" she told me
"I will" I smiled
"Liz, you better not kill her" my dad warned
"I'll try" Liz joked
He shook his head as we walked out the front door and to her car
"Oh, you're driving?" I asked
"Yes, now no more questions" she said as we got in
"Wait, but you said you would tell me where were going when we get to your car" I replied
"I lied" she said plainly
I sighed as I buckled my seatbelt
"I'm scared" I joked
"You should be" she told me
I gulped loudly
"Here you go" she said handing me her phone so I could play music
"How nice of you to let me play music for my own kidnapping" I told her
"I'm not kidnapping you" she laughed
"Then where are we going?" I asked
"To a place" she said
"What kind of place?" I asked
"I said no more questions" she stated
"Liz" I told her
She ignored me as she hummed along to the song. I had no choice but to just sit here and do the same. For the whole ride, there was barely even any talking, just humming and singing
"Dude we've been driving forever, where are we going?" I asked
"First off, we've only been driving for twenty five minutes, secondly, shut up" she told me
Since she was giving me no answers, I started looking around to see if I could get a clue about where we are going
"Oh, are we going to Dave and Busters?" I asked
She shook her head
"Then we're going mini golfing" I said
Another head shake
"We're going to the movies right there?" I asked pointing to the cinema on the left side
"No, we're going there" Liz pointed to the right side which had a hotel
"A hotel? Liz, I love you, but I'm not really up for a romantic getaway with you right now. It's such short notice" I told her
"What? Ew no, we're not having a romantic getaway" she defended as she pulled her car into the parking lot and then an empty parking space
"Are you coming?" She asked as she unbuckled and started to get out
I sighed because it didn't really seem like I had an option. When we walked through the double sliding glass doors of this very expensive looking hotel, we headed straight for the elevators. We didn't even go to the check in desk
"Liz, what are we doing?" I asked
"Going to the third floor" she said
"You didn't even check in" I told her
"We don't need to" she replied
I gave her a confused look as we stepped into the elevator and she clicked the number three button
"I'm scared" I said
"Why?" She laughed
"Because you're not telling me where we're going" I told her
"We're going to room three twenty" she told me
"But what's there?" I asked
"We need to find a way to pay rent for our new apartment so this is where we'll be cooking the crack" she told me
"The crack!?" I exclaimed
She nodded nonchalantly
"Liz" I told her
"Shhh, you'll see" she said as the elevator doors opened and we stepped out. We began walking down the long hall until we reached a door that had the numbers three hundred and twenty on the little plaque
Liz knocked three times and the door swung open to reveal John
"John? What the fuck, you brought me to watch you hook up with John?" I asked Liz
"No, she brought you to hang out with me" A familiar voice appeared behind the dark haired man
"Oh my god what?" I questioned clearly confused
"Hurry come in" Taylor grabbed my wrist and pulled me in
As soon as Liz and I were in the room, Taylor closed the door behind us as John took a seat on a chair. It didn't take Liz long before she followed him and sat on his lap
"I'm confused" I admitted
"I'm good at surprises too you know" Taylor stated
"I- I literally don't even know what to say. How? Why? When?" I started asking a lot of questions due to shock
"How? A plane. Why? Because I have down time before the next two shows. When? Now. I figured since Liz and John have been texting, they should see each other again, but I couldn't just let John go on a vacation when he just started working for me so I said there was some business I needed to take care of here" Taylor explained
"There isn't any actual business though" Liz clarified
"Clearly" I laughed
"Any more questions?" Taylor asked
"How long are you here for?" I asked
"Until Thursday morning" she answered
"So it's going to be a little sleepover" Liz told me
I gasped
"I don't even have clothes" I said
"They're in the car" she told me
"How did you get my clothes?" I asked
"You have a ton at my house and your parents were in on it too so I went and took some from your room" she told me
"So that's why my sock drawer was starting to look a little empty" I said
That caused everyone to laugh
"John and I are in the room next to this one" Liz added
"Wait, I thought this was a sleepover?" I asked
"For you and Taylor and me and John" Liz said
"But there is also another empty room on the right of this one if you don't want to share a room with me" Taylor told me
"No this is fine. I'm just still in shock" I said
Everyone nodded
"Wait so I don't have to watch you and John hookup then?" I teased Liz
She scoffed and rolled her eyes
"No, ding bat" she told me
"Oh thank god" I put my hand over my heart
"I imagine that would be... an eyesore" Taylor laughed
I nodded with pursed lips
"Alright, enough of that, I think we should all go down to the bar and get some drinks" John suggested
"Yes!" Taylor agreed
I nodded and so did Liz
"Everyone is of age right?" Taylor asked
"Yup" Liz said
"Okay, because if you weren't, I would still buy you a drink" Taylor winked

"Look at them, they're all over each other" Taylor said turning around to look at John and Liz
"I think they might actually have something here" I stated as I sipped my wine
"I hope so. He talks about her so much" Taylor added
"She's the exact same, but she's scared to let someone in I think" I told her
"That's understandable. I'm like that too, even with new friends" Taylor agreed
"I don't know, you're pretty open with me" I said feeling brave
That caused her to giggle
"You're.. different though" she spoke
"How so?" I asked
"I can't explain it, you just are" she told me
I hummed in response
"I don't know about you, but I'm feeling" Taylor began
"Twenty two?" I asked
She had a straight face, but it soon turned into a smile
"No, a little tipsy" she admitted
"Me too" I agreed
"Hi, sorry to bother you, but my daughter is a huge fan and she would absolutely kill me if I saw you and didn't at least ask for a picture or video" an older woman approached us
"Oh of course, do you want to do a video so I can tell her something?" Taylor asked
"That would be amazing" the woman smiled as she began to pull her phone out and handed it to Taylor
"What's your daughters name?" Taylor asked
"Hannah" the woman smiled
Taylor nodded as she began to record
"Hi, Hannah, its me, Taylor. I'm with your mom right now, say hi mom" Taylor began as the mother got into frame
"I just wanted to tell you that I love you and you mean so much to me. Thank you for supporting me, and yea" Taylor smiled into the camera
"I love you" Taylor finished by blowing a kiss and ending it
"Thank you so much!" The woman said graciously
"Of course, would you like a picture as well?" Taylor asked
"Oh no, it's okay, I bothered you girls enough" the woman said
"Well let me at least sign a piece of paper for you" Taylor pleaded as she grabbed a piece of paper from the note pad at the bar and began to sign it with a little message
"Thank you so much, again!" The woman smiled before walking away
I couldn't help but to smile at the interaction
"She was the cutest mom ever" Taylor said sitting back down
"She really was" I agreed
I looked behind Taylor and I suddenly didn't see Liz or John anymore
"Where did they go?" I asked
Taylor turned around and noticed the absence of the two as well
"Oh, I have no idea. Should we find them?" She asked
"No, I think they'll be okay" I said honestly
She nodded
"Well maybe we should go back up too. I feel the wine really starting to hit" Taylor told me
I nodded agreeing with her
When we made it back up to the room, she sat at the foot of the bed as I was closing the door
"So since there's only one bed, I can sleep on the floor" she told me
"No way. There's no reason why we can't share it" I said honestly
"I was going to suggest that, but I wasn't sure if it would make you uncomfortable" she told me
"Not at all" I said
"But I'm not ready for bed yet, so what do you say we play some scrabble?" She suggested
"Okay, but I'm not very good" I admitted
"Neither am I" she shrugged as she pulled the game out of the bedside table
"Yea right" I laughed
"You'll just have to see" Taylor teased
"You're on!" I told her
